The Strongest Magician of Gods
Chapter 128: Burial Ground
A mysterious place, the foundation damp, large patches of mottled grass stained with dark green liquid.
The surrounding mounds were dark and gloomy, with a lurking atmosphere. Strips of human skin, dripping with mottled blood, curled up and hung lightly from the treetops.
The human-like skin next to the face was extremely blurry in the dim light.
They smiled, blooming in the eerie space. It was a chilling smile. If it weren't for the blood dripping from the human skin, anyone who saw it would probably panic immediately, after all, that smile was too creepy.
The burial mounds are desolate, slumbering in the darkness of time and space, as if they will one day awaken from the endless void.
There are no tombstones here, no trace of life. The entire land is shrouded in darkness, withered and desolate, with only an endless expanse of cemetery.
Strangely, no matter how many corpses are buried here, the area under the cemetery remains bright and clean.
"Bengbeng"
The burial ground was filled with even more yin energy, and the mountains and forests trembled violently. Huge, horned monsters lay sprawled down, smashing earth and wood into flying debris.
In the shady woods, a dozen human skins, dripping with blood, swayed and smiled in the eerie wind, exuding extreme coldness and a pungent, fishy stench.
As numerous demonic beasts perished, the burial ground grew increasingly terrifying and horrifying. In the depths of the gloomy forest, a faint, intermittent divine chant rang out, eerie and austere, as if it contained an overwhelming sin.
A terrifying aura of sin shrouded the sky, making visibility even darker.
Lightning crackled overhead, but it was filled with a foul light, clearly corrupted by some force.
Legend has it that in ancient times, a defiled sacred land was cursed by an evil god. That land fell from the stars and was transformed by the evil god into a burial ground where there is no distinction between day and night, and it is always shrouded in death.
"Hey..."
Amidst the silent burial mound, divine light rises, a blazing divine light silently streaks across the shady forest, and a cluster of firelight flickers from within.
The fire was pitch black, exuding a chilling aura. A slender little hand held this ghostly flame lantern. Upon closer inspection, it was suddenly discovered that the little hand holding the lantern was withered, devoid of flesh and bone.
It's unbelievable. A person without flesh and blood walks through the dark forest. As the vision clears, a woman as thin as a sheet of paper walks towards it with a smile, but bloodstains flow from her eyes.
At that moment, I realized that the one carrying the lantern was not a person, but a blood-stained human skin.
The ghost flame lantern emitted a chilling light, and the lamp oil was extremely fine, exuding a faint fragrance.
The fragrance of the oil and the scent of the human skin seemed to emanate from the same person.
What a cruel method of refining! This woman was hollowed out by an evil refining method, her outer skin was refined into a cool leather garment, and her inner flesh was boiled alive into corpse oil.
Evil, cruel.
As the ghostly lanterns flickered through the dark forest, soil slid off many grave mounds, revealing huge mud pits.
At the giant crater, graves were blown apart and scattered, with plumes of thick smoke rising from the damp ground.
The soil churned, burying a row of blood-red coffins, each one imbued with rings of sealing power.
"Hoo"
Several human skins hanging from the treetops were manipulated by a strange wind and pasted onto the heads of several huge coffins, like a painting inlaid there.
"dong dong dong"
A strange sound emanated from the row of coffins, causing each coffin to shake.
"collapse"
The coffin trembled, and from beneath a shadowy figure, a foot stomped on the ground. The coffin then collapsed with a loud rumble and fell silent once more.
"Too hasty." A deep voice, of unknown gender, said.
It's finally available! I've been so busy lately that I haven't been able to update often, but thankfully I've made it this far.
I'll just write a thousand words tonight!
I already knew my grades, but it didn't matter, because I persisted because I loved it.
Before I knew it, I'd gone from signing the contract to having my book published. The next step should be to consistently write a million words. I'll encourage myself and others.
