The house built by the owner is quite large; it took a long time to walk around. There are large trees planted around the house, so it is warm in winter and cool in summer, and it is not hot to walk around in summer.

It was a three-courtyard house, built from the middle of the estate, with courtyards and gardens extending all the way to the foot of the mountain.

The second courtyard was where the owners lived, and its layout was different from what Ruxiu had imagined. The three main houses were all very large, and each had its own partitioned rooms. They were similar to modern one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartments, except they lacked a kitchen and bathroom. It turns out that suites were not unique to modern times.

The further in you go, the wider it gets. By the third section, it is divided into three small courtyards, each with an elegant name: "Mountain Retreat," "Bamboo Dwelling," and "Green Delight."

Each courtyard is quite large, easily accommodating one family, and fully equipped with servants' quarters, a small kitchen, and a latrine, each with its own unique design.

Ru Xiu particularly liked the courtyard called "Qizhu," which was simple yet elegant.

Further on was the garden, where there was a pavilion with a round table. Old Master Zhang plopped down on the stool, panting, and said, "I'm not going any further. You can walk around here a bit more."
