Since it was just a rental, Ru Xiu didn't want to hire anyone or go through any housewarming procedures.

However, since we are leaving Tangjia Village, we still need to tell the village chief; we also need to visit the clan chief. We need to let others know where we are going, otherwise they will think we have gone missing.

Two boxes of pastries per family, plus a chicken and a fish, should be enough.

"I also want to send my second grandson over, but he doesn't know many words yet, so I don't know if they can accept him?"

After leaving the village chief's house, we also sat down for a while at the clan chief's house.

I still need to deliver goods in a couple of days, so the oxcart can only be left in Tangjia Village.

After the children ate two steamed buns and tidied up their things, everyone took a nap.

Ru Xiu and her second aunt went to buy groceries. After all, it was their first time living in a new house, and they still wanted to have a good meal together as a family.

As soon as Xige and Lege got up, they told their mother that they wanted to go to the bookstore together.

Ru Xiu naturally supported this and gave Xi Ge two taels of silver. They all said they would use their own silver coins so that their mother wouldn't have to spend money.

"That little bit of silver is your private savings, so you can keep it."
