Chapter Twenty-Five: The First Battle

A whooshing sound whistled past the snow-white giant wolf's ear, but the tiger king's sharp claws did not strike. Instead, the tiger king roared in agony.

At first, the Tiger King thought that the battle against the Azure Fierce Wolf pack would be easy, but he did not expect that the wolf pack, which had lost its cubs and was still indomitable, would be so brave. With only himself left of his kind, he was about to kill the leader of the Azure Fierce Wolf pack, but a dagger flew by and pierced his claws. How could the Tiger King not be furious? He used his huge body to slam the snow-white giant wolf into the distance and glared fiercely ahead.

Because of the dagger that was thrown earlier, the snow-white giant wolf did not die, but lay in the distance like a dead wolf. Under the dual pressure of losing its cub and the intense high-intensity battle, the giant wolf lost all its strength. The wounds all over its body stimulated the snow-white giant wolf's nerves, but it was still clinging to life with its tenacious vitality.

Lin Yu, perched in the tree, unleashed his fifth-level Body Tempering power, piercing the Tiger King's claws with his dagger like an arrow, and then stared intently at the Tiger King.

As expected of a top-tier first-order wild beast, the Tiger King immediately found a giant tree behind it after knocking the snow-white giant wolf away. The Tiger King looked at the fireball in front of him, stretched out his right paw, and slammed it down. The fireball immediately dissipated, but the power of the fireball also shocked the Tiger King. His right paw seemed to be covered by a heat wave, and a scorching sensation spread throughout his body.

Fireballs flew out one after another. What was originally a short distance felt incredibly long to the Tiger King. It never imagined that a human could launch so many fireballs so quickly, and that each fireball was exceptionally powerful.

"If I were to say that I would have been defeated when the Tiger King was at its peak, the current Tiger King was first fighting with the snow-white giant wolf, and then burned all over its body by my own little fireball. After the Tiger King stood up again, its face revealed a fierce look. Lin Yu realized that the Tiger King was unleashing its power, and it seemed that it would be impossible for him to win with his agility. He would have to fight a bloody battle.

Gripping his gauntlets tightly, the flames still burning, Lin Yu charged forward the instant the Tiger King stood up again. His right fist glowed with a fiery red light as he struck at the Tiger King. But the Tiger King, a peak first-tier warrior, was not so easily defeated. With a quick movement, the Tiger King dodged Lin Yu's heavy punch.

Although Lin Yu's strength had reached the fifth level of Body Solidification and he had cultivated the Nine Heavens Transformation Witchcraft Technique to the second stage of Mortal Transformation, making his body more agile and his speed significantly increased, he was still struck by the Tiger King's right claw that suddenly shot out. Although Lin Yu managed to block it slightly, he was still knocked down by the enormous force. Lin Yu got up from the ground, his clothes torn by the Tiger King's claw, and blood flowed from the wound. Lin Yu looked extremely disheveled.

Lin Yu walked step by step toward the Tiger King. The Tiger King was already paralyzed on the ground by the fireman in front of him, panting heavily. Lin Yu showed no mercy, raised his right hand, and punched the Tiger King's head with all his might. The Tiger King screamed and then lay still.

Seeing the Tiger King die, Lin Yu finally breathed a sigh of relief and slowly collapsed.

This was Lin Yu's first battle, and it was an incredibly arduous one. He teetered on the brink of death several times, but his indomitable will persevered. Having experienced this battle, Lin Yu will grow rapidly, and his belief in becoming stronger will only grow stronger.
