The next day, early morning.

Yan Kai got up early to pack his luggage, filling four large suitcases to the brim. Even he was surprised, as he had come out empty-handed without even a handbag, but after two months away, he had accumulated so much stuff.

I moved all the luggage to the door, then went back to clean up the remaining trash, and left the rest of the chores to the housekeeping robot.

Yan Kai patted its head: "You've worked hard."

Yalta initially disliked having other activities in the house. Although the robot was just a string of data code, it could run, jump, and even make jokes, so she didn't plan to buy it at first.

However, after a series of unexpected events, Yan Kai had to take on all the housework by himself, and the female insect felt sorry for him.

After a final discussion, the two decided to move the robot from the villa next door over, since it would be a waste to leave it unused if they didn't live there.

“My dear master, it is my honor.”

The Zerg's intelligence system is very advanced; at certain moments, they can actually chat like ordinary people.

Yan Kai followed him around for a couple of laps, hands on his hips, until the sun was fully up before going upstairs to wake the female insect.

Pushing open the door revealed another strong smell of smoke. Yalta was shirtless, leaning against the headboard, smoking, staring blankly out the window, lost in thought.

Yan Kai raised his hand and waved it in front of his nose: "Pinch it off."

Yalta snapped back to reality upon hearing the sound, obediently tossing his cigarette into the ashtray, his voice hoarse: "Why are you up so early?"

Yan Kai glanced at him but didn't reply. He walked into the room and opened the balcony door. A refreshing breeze carrying warm sunlight rushed into the room in an instant, dispelling the smog.

Today is another beautiful day.

Yan Kai leaned outwards a bit, his whole body enveloped in a soft, golden light, so gentle it was almost unbelievable.

Yalta stared at him without moving, her expression one of fascination, and her previously agitated mood miraculously calmed down at that moment.

Yan Kai noticed the female insect's gaze, turned his head, and smiled slightly, his tone as doting as ever: "Get up and wash up. Once you're ready, we'll go back to Longkoda together."

Yalta called out softly, "Yan Kai..."

Boundless tenderness.

"Ok?"

Yan Kai responded as usual.

Yalta seemed to be provoked, and suddenly jumped out of bed and pounced on the male insect without thinking.

Yan Kai was completely unprepared. Seeing the person already soaring into the air, he hurriedly reached out to catch him. Fortunately, he didn't miss and managed to pull him steadily into his arms.

He gripped the female insect's waist tightly, still shaken: "Damn it...you scared me to death!"

Yalta buried her head in the male insect's neck, her long hair falling down, spreading and intertwining around the two of them, in a silent and ambiguous embrace.

He felt the familiar presence and murmured, "Yan Kai..."

Yalta thought of Yan Kai in Longkoda; although he smiled, his smile never reached his eyes.

Yan Kai turned his head and affectionately nuzzled Yalta's cheek, responding gently, "What's wrong?"

Yalta gripped the clothes in his palm tightly, the words he wanted to say swirling in his throat but no sound came out, his heart filled with turmoil.

"Are you really willing to come back with me?"

Yan Kai replied affirmatively, "Of course."

If he doesn't want to, he won't force himself even if he cares about the female insect.

"It might be darker than you think..."

Yan Kai didn't care: "Yalta, where there are insects, there is struggle. It's the same everywhere."

Even the mighty Morbis, beneath its bustling facade, harbors undercurrents of turmoil, and he prefers the boundless snowfields to Longkoda.

Yalta received a positive answer from the male insect, but she was not very happy and her brows remained furrowed.

He originally planned to get married to Yan Kai once everything settled down, but now he is filled with self-doubt. If he can't change anything in the end, will Yan Kai still be with him?

Yalta couldn't accept the thought of it and was eager to bind Yan Kai to her in a deeper way, even if now wasn't the best time.

After a long silence, Yalta finally made up his mind, raised his head, and said earnestly, "Yan Kai, I have something I want to tell you..."

They must fight to the death.

Yan Kai vaguely sensed something, and put away his playful smile: "Go on, I'm listening."

Yalta stepped out of the embrace, reached out to smooth his long hair, and then slowly squatted down—kneeling on one knee.

With his left hand on his shoulder, he looked at Yan Kai with a determined expression.

"By the God of Insects, I am Alex Yalta, and today I humbly request Your Excellency Yan Kai to agree to a marriage contract with me."

I swear on my life's honor:

I will forever submit to you and worship you as my god.

I will always stand before you and keep you in my heart.

With my flesh and blood, with my own hands, I will protect your dignity.

I will fight for everything you want, and I will take you as my mission until death.

My mighty lord.

The only true ruler throughout all lifetimes.
