Zerg: Seduction! A brutal and insane female Zerg dotes on me.

Chapter 110: Promotion to a higher position

Yalta thought it was some great joy, but it turned out to be just an improvement on the inhibitor. He said with little interest, "This thing has been updated countless times since it was first introduced, but in the end, it's still just as useless."

The effects seem to be increasing, from the initial few months to the current several years, but the side effects are getting worse each time.

Arya shook his head with a smile, his words still tinged with unspeakable excitement: "No! Yalta, this time is different. We were just trying it out, and none of us thought it would actually succeed!"

Yalta frowned: "What do you mean?"

"Thanks to Yan Kai!"

Yalta's face darkened, his eyes flashing sharply as he looked at Alya, his tone icy: "What did you do to him?"

Although he doesn't concern himself with the affairs of other ethnic groups, it doesn't mean he's unaware of them.

While the Morbis Research Center is ostensibly owned by Knox, it is actually affiliated with the Tuslian Chamber of Commerce.

Arya raised his hand and waved it, signaling him to calm down: "Don't be nervous, it's just that they drew two vials of blood from him."

Yalta chuckled: "Two vials of blood?"

He wouldn't even pluck a single hair from the male insect, yet they can so confidently say 'only two vials of blood were drawn,' and use the word 'that's all.' Where do they get such a big face?

Arya felt a tightness in his chest as Yalta glared at him, thinking he was doomed.

The matter of letting Yan Kai go before wasn't over yet, and now that he knows she's also used male insects for experiments, it's likely to never end...

He raised his hand to touch his chin as a cover, then turned his head to glance at the insect in question out of the corner of his eye, blinking a few times as if seeking help.

Yan Kai received the gaze and, thinking about the relationship between the two insects, decided it wouldn't hurt to offer a few words of explanation. Just as he was about to speak, Yalta interrupted him directly: "That old man is a liar, don't be fooled by him."

"Actually, it's only two vials of blood. If it can help you, I'm still willing to continue providing it."

Yalta glared at him reluctantly and said irritably, "I won't allow it."

Yan Kai curled his lips, tugged at the female insect's arm to let her sit down first, and then turned to the other two, saying, "You two sit down too."

Arya looked around and chose a seat furthest away from them. Harwick ran up behind him and stood there with his head down, adopting an ostrich-like posture, thinking, "If I can't see you, you can't see me either."

Yan Kai was actually quite curious. He had been worried about the blood sample issue, since he wasn't a real Zerg.

After thinking for a moment, he decided to sound him out first: "You just said the female insect can be saved, what do you mean?"

When this was mentioned, Al-Ya became enthusiastic again: "In the past, the main function of inhibitors was to delay the fever period through paralysis, so the aftereffects were very serious. Once they accumulated to a certain level, they would rebound even more, which was the case with Yalta before."

"what about now?"

"We successfully replicated your mental energy and added it to the inhibitor. In the initial simulation tests, we almost never succeeded. The replicated mental energy remained independent and could not be dissolved into the drug at all. But just a few days ago, a member of the research institute suddenly had a fever and volunteered to be injected with the new version of the inhibitor. We had failed too many times and no one had any expectations. But the result was unexpected. The replicated mental energy finally condensed in the female insect's glandular nucleus, directly neutralizing the estrogen and pheromones that were constantly released during the fever from the root."

Yan Kai only half understood, but the female insect's fever period is actually somewhat similar to the estrus period of animals on Earth. It mainly involves the hypothalamus secreting various hormones after the body matures, sending out mating signals, which leads to a change in the body's hormones.

Will this inhibitor have any side effects?

"After multiple tests, we have found no other adverse reactions. The hormone levels in the female insects injected with the new version of the inhibitor are stable, and there has been no leakage or overactivity of pheromones."

Yan Kai was relieved; everything was fine as long as there were no problems.

"That is indeed good news."

If subsequent tests go smoothly, at least the female insects will have one more chance of survival.

Yalta, on the other hand, showed no joy whatsoever; his entire being exuded an indescribable hostility.

Yan Kai hooked his finger around his: "Why do you look so unhappy?"

Yalta gripped the male insect tightly, his voice icy: "Mental power replication? Does this mean that all future inhibitors will use Yan Kai's mental power?"

Alya's previously leisurely movements suddenly froze.

Insect droppings!

He really hadn't considered this question...

"Um... well... that's pretty much the idea..."

Yalta chuckled softly, then said, slowly and deliberately, "I disagree."

He would never allow Yan Kai's mental power to be used as a commodity.

Alya pursed her lips, her mind racing. In the past, no S-class male insects were willing to cooperate in the experiments, so the experiments stagnated. Now that the replication technology has been successful, S-class male insects are just rare, not extinct. There's no fear of not finding a second one. The key is to appease Yalta first!

"Understood. This is only for this one time. I'm here today to see Yan Kai about something."

"Find me?"

"Yes, on behalf of Knox, I sincerely invite you to join us."

Upon hearing this, Yalta stood up abruptly, his S-class aura surging forth, and coldly said, "Alya, if you dare to make any further moves against Yan Kai without my permission, don't blame me for not showing any mercy."

Alya felt as if his blood had frozen. He gripped the armrests of the sofa with both hands and explained with difficulty, "Of course not. To show our sincerity, if Lord Yan Kai agrees, Knox will grant him a title and a fief, so that we may share the same honor."
