Yalta pushed the phone towards Yan Kai's face again, suppressing his temper that was teetering on the edge of exploding. He frowned, his expression both restrained and arrogant: "Look carefully!"

Yan Kai smiled slightly, removed the quantum computer from his nose, grasped the female insect's wrist, and kneaded it back and forth between his fingertips.

He actually saw it very clearly and knew what it meant. Yalta had said before that he had bought the villa next door, but he didn't expect that this 'buy' was for him.

Yan Kai suddenly pulled hard on his hand and pulled it towards him, and the female insect moved towards him.

Eye to eye, nose to nose, close enough to see the pores on each other's faces clearly.

Yalta's heart skipped a beat, and she asked nervously, "Why are you getting so close?"

He hadn't even had time to clean it yet...

Will it cause bad breath?

Will there be eye discharge?

Yan Kai affectionately rubbed his nose against his left and right noses: "Look at you."

Yalta lowered her eyelids and licked her unusually red lips, still bearing the lingering color of yesterday: "I... I wasn't better yesterday."

Yan Kai paused for a moment, then realized what he was thinking and laughed, "What are you thinking? I'm just taking a look."

Look at this seemingly shrewd kid, how come he's so naive when it comes to relationships, always spending a whole city or a building every time he makes a move.

Thankfully, he wasn't some heartless scumbag, otherwise this worm would definitely have been swindled out of everything.

"Yalta."

The female insect, smelling the lingering scent of his spiritual energy, replied softly, "Speak your mind..."

"Don't send me expensive gifts."

Because he now has nothing but himself.

Yalta's face turned cold. She looked up, her eyes devoid of any tenderness, and grabbed his wrist with her other hand, her aura extremely tense: "You want to back out?"

In the Zerg continent, male Zerglings refuse gifts from female Zerglings, signifying that they do not wish to have any further involvement with them.

Yan Kai immediately realized there must be some cultural difference involved, and quickly explained, "Don't misunderstand! Don't overthink it! I won't go back on my word since I promised you. When I said don't send me anything, I meant exactly what I said!"

Yalta was furious. What was the difference between not sending him anything and not wanting him at all?

"kidding me?"

"Don't think wildly!"

"Yan Kai, what more do you want me to do?"

“Indeed, I am not as good at understanding insects as ordinary female insects, and I am not good at those delicate tasks, but I can swear to the insect god that you are my lifelong faith.”

Yan Kai broke down, twisting his wrists to free himself from the restraints, and wrapped his arms around the female insect's waist, saying earnestly, "What are you thinking? I just don't want you to spend too much money. There's no hidden meaning in what I'm saying!"

"When a male insect refuses a female insect's gift, it is tantamount to rejecting the female insect itself!"

“I swear I never had that thought. It’s not that I don’t like it when you give me things, it’s just that I hope you don’t give me anything too expensive. I have nothing right now and can’t give anything in return. Besides! Yalta, I think a good relationship shouldn’t always be one where you give and I receive, but rather one where it’s reciprocal.”

Yan Kai felt both touched and under immense pressure.

He greatly admired Yalta's strength, and therefore was even more aware of the gap between them. He was willing to work hard to narrow the gap between them, but before that, he needed to have the opportunity to prove himself, rather than simply accepting being 'pampered'.

Yalta stared silently at the male insect, his expression showing no sign of relaxation.

Yan Kai felt uneasy under her gaze. Just as he was about to say a few more kind words, the female insect suddenly exerted her strength and threw him onto the bed.

He straddled him, leaned down, and clamped his five fingers under his chin. After a long while, he spoke stiffly, "I don't care. As long as I give it to you, you have to accept it."
