The Book of All Things: Born for Joy

Chapter 219 Extra Chapter – A Final Remark

Li Zichun has left, but there are still many things left behind.

Zhao Qianfan retired from the entertainment industry, and Du Zihua semi-retired, focusing on managing the huge inheritance they left behind and raising their newborn baby.

Du Zihua also retrieved Li Zichun's ashes and buried them in the cemetery. Every day, he would stand in front of the grave, and the once handsome young man was now covered with the air of old age.

He has put all his acting career on hold and has been focusing all his attention on Li Zichun and his IVF baby these past few days. This is his only thought now, the evidence that he and Li Zichun were once together, and he will not allow this connection to be severed.

He was afraid of being forgotten, afraid that this relationship was just a dispensable addition to each other's long lives, and that it would eventually fade away with time as that person disappeared into the past.

He collected all his memories with Li Zichun, remembering each and every one of them.

He regretted it the moment Li Zichun left, realizing that he had truly fallen in love. The year or so they had spent together was enough for him to remember for a lifetime.

In the lobby of Rongcheng Welfare Home, Zhao Qianfan stood next to Li Xian and respectfully finished explaining everything.

"Your Majesty, that's about it."

After listening, Li Xian said indifferently, "Then that's settled. You've worked hard too."

Looking at Li Xian's carefree demeanor, Zhao Qianfan was filled with mixed emotions. This immortal had lived for so long, experienced and witnessed everything, that nothing could move her anymore. No wonder she was so detached from emotions and desires.

Yuan Zi'an yawned and lazily looked over: "Pingxin, can't you really make an exception?"

Li Xian waved her hand: "There's nothing to talk about. Why don't you just destroy this world?"

Zhao Jinmai, who was hiding behind Zhao Qianfan, tugged at his trouser leg but didn't say anything.

Jin Dili and Qi Tong stood aside, barely daring to breathe. These old fogies had lived so long that they were even more reckless than young people, always talking about destroying the world.

Yuan Zian took a sip of tea, looked up at the sky, and said out of the blue, "Pingxin, you're too obsessed with returning to the ancient and primordial world."

Li Xian yawned and ignored him. With a gentle wave of her right hand, many figures appeared on a transparent light screen. She tapped the table lightly, as if she was thinking about something.

When those figures came into Zhao Jinmai's view, he immediately understood. Although the auras of many of these people showed signs of merging and intertwining, it was still clear at a glance that they did not belong to this sub-world. They must all be transmigrators from various worlds.

Zhao Qianfan and Li Zichun had visited the orphanage together and seen photos of the children who had come out of there over the years. They immediately recognized that these were all people who had grown up in the orphanage. They were surprised to find that they were all time travelers, but they quickly composed themselves and waited for her next move.

Li Xian tapped the table lightly, and with a final wave of her hand, the figures on the light screens all fell unconscious. Points of light flowed out from within and gathered in her palm. With a sudden squeeze, they turned into dust and dissipated in the surroundings.

Everyone around knew that these people's bodies and memories had disappeared with her movements.

"As expected, those from the Blue Planet are the most capable." Li Xian yawned and gently stood up. "With the Heavenly Gate closed, the gods retreat. Heavenly Spirit, when will we be able to return to the God Realm?"

Yuan Zian lazily shook his head from side to side: "Pingxin, you've been in charge of the underworld's reincarnation for so many years, do you still think that the divine realm has any need to exist now?"

Although Li Xian was unwilling, she still agreed with what he said. In this "atheistic" scientific world, gods have long since lost their place.

"But this is not a reason for you to banish the gods."

Yuan Zian straightened his sleeves and said with a smile, "A god without incense offerings and responsibilities is already dispensable. Don't be ungrateful, otherwise, we won't mind solving the reincarnation problem as well."

After saying that, he got up and left without looking back.

The people standing nearby didn't dare to breathe, watching him leave in silence.

Li Xian was stunned for a moment, her thoughts racing, before letting out a long sigh: "I will go back."

Looking through the blue sky and white clouds at the vast starry sky, Zhao Qianfan silently murmured in his heart, "Zichun, I'm waiting for you."

----------------------

Although it's not my first time writing a book, I'm still quite happy.

I've written quite a few unfinished novels on Qidian before, but this is my first time writing a book on Tomato, and it's also the first book I've ever finished.

Although I knew it would definitely flop and had many shortcomings, I kept deviating from my original intention as I wrote. I originally planned to write about the film and television industry, but in the end I only wrote about the music industry.

I don't know how many people will stick around to the end, but I still hope that someone will see my hard work writing these past few days.

Anyway, this prequel is now finished. Next, I will write about Li Zichun's journey to the Eternal Heaven to cultivate immortality. I hope everyone will enjoy it.

I've been updating the book intermittently while writing it, and a lot has happened. I'm currently unemployed and looking for a job, and my life is a complete mess. At one point, I even considered giving up. Would anyone really read something like this?

After a few final struggles, I've given this book a less-than-perfect ending. I hope you all like it.

The journey through life is long, but we'll meet again someday.
