Two-Headed Deer Tavern is an ordinary tavern in Sandel City. It offers inexpensive fruit wines, enough for adventurous travelers to enjoy. The cheap stews served inside will surely satisfy even those with limited funds.

What makes this place truly special is what lies beneath. A tunnel runs through the warehouse, leading to the world of underground casinos—the real Sandel City.

Even celebrities try to conceal their identities and visit places they've been to before. Here, there's not only gambling entertainment, but also all sorts of unimaginable transactions: fine wine, jewels, magical artifacts, beautiful women…

And "intelligence"!

“This is it.” The thief Maren looked fearfully at the tavern in front of him.

Above the tavern's entrance hung two deer heads in animal skins; they were clearly dead, but their fake eyes seemed to be alive.

"Oh." Linta looked at the somewhat old tavern with a calm expression.

The tavern was filled with lively sounds, which showed the atmosphere there.

"Take us in," the dwarf Jingon shouted from the side.

Maren nodded slightly and led Linta and Jingon inside.

Shia naturally followed, but it's unknown where she's hiding right now.

Pushing open the tavern's sliding door, the pungent smell of cheap liquor assaulted the senses like a storm. Various patrons, dressed in tattered clothes and weathered by the elements, chatted and laughed, discussing their travel experiences.

"Go through the door in front and you'll reach the warehouse," Mullen said in a low voice.

Linta was looking at the tavern counter, at the man in blue, whose beard was like a pineapple, and who exuded a steady and composed aura. He was wiping the wine glass in his hand without caring about anyone else.

"Is that man the tavern owner?" Linta asked in a low voice.

Mullen nodded. "Yes, everyone calls him Simon."

Jin Gongyan: "I understand. Go ask this guy about Yanhu Moke."

"No need," Linta quickly stopped her.

"Huh?" Jin Gong asked, puzzled. "Why?"

Linta stared intently at Boss Simon and said with certainty, "Even if he knows something, he won't tell us. If I'm not mistaken, he's not the owner here."

Mullen nodded and said, "Yes, the real owners are the underground casinos. We'd better not do anything reckless without their permission."

Linta said softly, "Let's go check out the casino."

And so the three of them walked past Simon's counter, through the back door, and headed toward the warehouse.

The warehouse was originally a place to store alcoholic beverages, but after the renovation, only some empty barrels and an open underground passage remain.

The entrance to the passage is large enough for seven or eight people to walk down side by side at the same time.

Maren said fearfully, "We can't do anything reckless down there. If we anger the 'elephant,' we won't be able to see the sunlight alive."

"The Elephant," the title of the underground casino owner. Very few people know anything about him, except that his name is Gary, Gary the Elephant. He appeared after the succession of the Duke of Brandon Vázquez.

"Don't worry," Linta reassured the thief Maren, and stepped down.

The tunnel sloped downwards, with at least a hundred steps. Oil lamps made of star-shaped grass lined both sides, providing clear visibility of each step. As you descended, you finally reached a flat passageway, stretching for over ten meters, leading to a brightly lit entrance. Faint, chaotic sounds emanated from the entrance.

"Let's go!" Jin Gong said excitedly, striding forward.

After walking through this flat passage, what appeared before us was nothing short of a palace!

It was an underground palace, very spacious. It had three floors, with the first and second floors being gambling dens.

Between each level, there are various rooms built along the stone walls, but what is inside these rooms and what they contain remains unknown.

Jingon surveyed the structure, saying with a hint of disdain, "Tch, not very good. It's far inferior to the underground world of our Eden Kingdom."

The Kingdom of Eden, a land ruled by dwarves. A kingdom whose capital exists underground. A place built with the wisdom of the dwarves.

Maren asked Linta uneasily, "Um...? What are you planning to do next?"

Linta's gaze sharpened as he looked around.

The casino was filled with passionate and indignant gamblers, their victories and defeats.

These people are untraceable sources of information. The only way to obtain the truth here is to ask one person.

"How can I see an elephant?" Linta asked.

Maren's face darkened, and he looked completely distraught.

As a petty thief, I never even dared to dream of meeting the owner of this place; in fact, I was terrified of seeing that elephant, Gary. That kind of person was destined to be no good.

Linta knew this, of course, but there was nothing he could do. Here, if you wanted to know anything, you could only see the owner of this place.

A casino employee informed the manager, Cameron.

Carmack is the manager in charge of the casino; he's a black-and-white-haired man with a seasoned air.

The third floor of the casino, the top floor, is a place where only Gary the elephant can live.

The steward, Cameron, entered the room, his every word and action displaying utmost respect.

In the main seat, a large, stout man weighing several hundred pounds was enjoying delicacies from all over the country. These things, these foods, were something only Duke Vasquez could enjoy in the entire city of Sandel.

"Kama, have a taste. This is a Pinot trout caught in the Pinot Forest. It was still alive when it arrived."

Carma bowed his head gratefully, "Thank you for your kindness, Master. Please allow me to report first."

Gary the elephant put down his fork, his eyes flickering slightly. "Oh, what is it?"

Cameron replied, “Three men came and said they wanted to buy some information. They were willing to pay 100 silver coins.”

Normally, Kamai would have accepted the money for the intelligence. But this time, it wasn't a small amount. If his master, Elephant, found out, he'd probably be thrown into a barrel and soaked in alcohol.

Gary the elephant looked curious.

Information worth 100 silver coins seems to be no small matter.

Carmack added, "One of these three is the thief Maren."

"Maren?" Gary the Elephant paused for a moment.

Carmack replied, "He's the guy who saw Luc Reno being killed and notified Flamefox to arrest him."

The tone of the sentence gradually became heavy, and carried a sinister intent.

Gary the elephant gave a strange smile. "Heh, go back and tell them this is a casino. If they want to see me, they have to win the bet first."
