Even though the black dragon claimed it wouldn't bother with a weak and despicable human, its body language betrayed it; its gaze, which had been wandering aimlessly, would unconsciously drift towards Gu Yunyun.

Oh, she sneezed...

She seems to have fallen asleep...

Huh, they don't snore...

It's kind of funny how they curl up in a ball...

……

Besides observing her every move, the black dragon would occasionally find its gaze falling on her chest, imagining that there might be other food hidden there.

Gu Yunyun asked the system somewhat uncertainly, "Is he staring at my chest again? Right?"

The system hesitated, "Could it be... that he wants to drink milk?"

Gu Yunyun: "...Get lost!"

Gu Yunyun couldn't help but pull her clothes tighter.

Whenever Gu Yunyun looked over, he would immediately look away and pretend nothing was wrong; occasionally, when his eyes met Gu Yunyun's, he would angrily shout at her, "What are you looking at!", truly demonstrating what it means to "observe secretly".

Gu Yunyun felt that this mission target was the most arrogant person she had ever met. However, a glimmer of hope rekindled in her heart. Besides, things couldn't continue like this, or she would freeze to death here before the mission made any progress.

She said weakly, trembling, "Lord Dragon God..."

"What?" Although the tone was impatient, the response was surprisingly quick.

"I'm freezing to death, can you use magic to dry my clothes...?"

Black Dragon frowned impatiently, "Why so much trouble?"

Gu Yunyun huddled up, sobbing, her teeth chattering as she spoke, "I'm really freezing to death, waaaaah..."

"Tch, what a hassle." The black dragon thought to himself as he looked at the little female crying pitifully. "I'll give her a taste of the jerky, though."

Gu Yunyun felt a warm breeze envelop her, and when she touched her clothes, they were completely dry, with a slight warmth remaining.

"Wow, the Dragon God is amazing!" Gu Yunyun praised the black dragon with sincere eyes.

"Tch, you're so ignorant."

"System, he's such a good person..." Gu Yunyun sniffed and exclaimed to the system.

However... he was really honest. When he asked me to help dry the clothes, he really only dried the clothes and completely ignored her wet hair.

"Okay, that's very straight-manly," Gu Yunyun thought.

But she couldn't spend the night in this cold, damp cave with wet hair. Gu Yunyun brazenly moved forward, her soft voice full of reverence, "Lord Dragon God, please help me again, I'm still so cold, my hair is still dripping wet."

The boy turned to look at her. The young girl had her long, wet, jet-black hair loose, and her dark eyes looked at him cautiously and dependently, like a naive little chick. She seemed completely unaffected by his indifference.

Black Dragon couldn't remember what the male human who had deceived him looked like back then, but he was definitely not as beautiful as the one in front of him. She didn't have such a smooth and tender face, nor did she have such clear and bright eyes, nor did she have such a soft and sweet voice like a little oriole.

The days in the cave are boring, so having an obedient and reasonably good-looking pet to keep you entertained wouldn't be bad.

He didn't say anything, and Gu Yunyun didn't even see him make any move before she felt the warm breeze brush past her again, and her hair was dry and comfortable.

"Thank you, Lord Dragon God!" Gu Yunyun felt much better and sincerely thanked him.

She obediently returned to the little corner the black dragon had pointed out to her and continued to curl up, breathing softly on her hands to warm them, her little hands feeling warm and cool. A tuft of hair on her head swayed like blades of grass in the wind.

The black-robed youth stared at her for a while, then suddenly raised his hand and threw his robe over Gu Yunyun's head.

"Ouch!" Gu Yunyun was startled by the sudden darkness. She struggled to get out of the large robe and turned to look at the bare-chested black dragon, whose lean yet muscular abs were exposed. Gu Yunyun's ahoge looked a little bewildered.

"Tsk, too weak to be an eyesore."

Seeing his arrogant yet contradictory demeanor, Gu Yunyun smiled sweetly, "Dragon God, you are so kind. I will definitely repay you." She spoke earnestly.

"Ha, what a boastful statement," the boy glanced at her sideways, completely unconvinced, and said disdainfully, "What can you do?" He seemed completely oblivious to the cold, casually lying down shirtless and lazily yawning.

Gu Yunyun was wrapped in the boy's robe. The robe seemed to be no ordinary item. It was thin to the touch, but in this temperature where one would almost want to wrap oneself in a cotton coat, she didn't feel cold at all after putting on the robe.

Once she stopped feeling cold, her hunger became more pronounced. Gu Yunyun rubbed her rumbling stomach, missing the jerky she hadn't had earlier.

Holding her stomach, she thought for what seemed like an eternity when she suddenly heard a splash. Gu Yunyun turned her head; the water had calmed down, and nothing seemed amiss. She looked up again at the second level where the black dragon had been, but the boy was no longer there.

Gu Yunyun gathered the hem of her robe and stood up. The young man wore a well-fitting robe, but when Gu Yunyun put it on, it still dragged on the ground. She held onto the hem of her robe and walked to the water's edge to look down, but the water was so dark that she couldn't see anything. She could only hear the clear, melodious sound of the river flowing in the empty cave.

She peered out from the shore, when suddenly, with a splash, something burst out of the water right in front of her feet, startling Gu Yunyun so much that she screamed and fell to the ground.

"Haha, what a coward." The boy's mischievous voice rang out. The black dragon came ashore and casually tossed something at Gu Yunyun's feet.

Gu Yunyun looked closely and saw a fat fish, about the length of an arm, jumping around on the ground. It looked to weigh at least ten pounds.

Hearing Gu Yunyun's stomach rumble, the black dragon youth remembered that pets need to be fed, so he went into the water and caught a small fish for her. Thinking he had already fed his pet, the black dragon sat down to the side, intending to watch his little pet eat.

He caught the fish himself, and since he had already decided that Gu Yunyun would be his pet, he didn't stand on ceremony and generously exercised his rights as the master, sitting openly to the side and watching.

"...For me?" Gu Yunyun looked uncertainly at the black dragon, then looked down at the ten-pound "small" fish hopping vigorously at her feet.

"Okay, eat up," the black dragon said generously to its little pet.

She was flattered that the black dragon would willingly go into the water to catch fish for her. During their brief time together, Gu Yunyun discovered the allure of food to the black dragon. She couldn't possibly eat such a large fish herself, but it was a good way to appease it.

Gu Yunyun, whose original form was a fisherwoman, was very skilled at handling fish. She picked up a larger rock and smashed it against the fish's head several times until it was stunned. Then, she dragged the large fish by its tail to a brighter spot.

Black Dragon had already swallowed a few fish to fill his stomach in the water. He always ate in a simple and crude way. Although he couldn't understand what Gu Yunyun was busy with, he found it quite novel and watched with great interest. Seeing her vigorously pulling fish with great effort, he couldn't help but want to laugh.
