“I’m even more eager to meet this little guy now.” Contrary to what Sang had expected, Berry’s grandfather suddenly laughed. “Come, let’s sit down and talk about this William. I want to hear everything you have to say about him.”

“You…” Old Sang hadn’t expected this reaction. But since the old patriarch had personally invited him, he couldn’t refuse. Then he began to recount the story Elina had told him.

When Berry woke up, she didn't explain things to her father or grandfather. She thought William had already caused enough trouble. If she told them what he had done for her, who knew what the old folks here would do to him.

He was afraid his presence would disturb the child. Berry's grandfather wanted to see the child for who he really was. After all, his beloved granddaughter's relationship with this self-proclaimed porter hadn't spared his keen senses.

From that moment on, he observed everything William did. The battle with the children of Golden Sky Academy allowed the old patriarch to understand William's character even better.

He was now convinced that the child was not as simple as he seemed. He was certain that William was a Soul Master who had previously impersonated a porter. This puzzled him greatly.

In his eyes, there was no reason for a Soul Master to hide the fact that they were living the arduous life of a porter in the academy, or in any academy.

"Could it be his mysterious master?" Grandpa Berry couldn't help but think of this possibility. However, he couldn't even understand what benefit someone like William could gain from such suffering.

In the following days, he received more questions than answers, following William's lead.
