For Soul Masters, using their Martial Soul is one of the ways to fight. This process usually requires Soul Power, and the Soul Master will transform into a version of the monster possessed by their Martial Soul.

The duration of this transformation depends entirely on a person's total soul power. The stronger the soul power, the longer the transformation will take.

Therefore, possessing martial souls with different elements and characteristics is crucial for any soul master. The more elements one possesses, the stronger one's combat power.

"Cough!" But just as he was about to activate the fox spirit, he felt a strong counterforce that caused him to cough up blood. His body felt like it had been hit by a speeding train; he trembled all over and suddenly became weak.

"Damn it! It seems my soul power is not enough to activate this martial soul..." He coughed up blood again and collapsed to the ground, feeling somewhat weak.

She was a little girl, not even six years old. The look of panic on her face was obvious, her angelic face stained with dirt, blood, and dried tears.

Just seeing her face filled William with sadness. It was as if, at that moment, no one in the world was more sorrowful than this little girl.

This face testifies to just how brutal the battle she and her protectors have faced over the past week. It seems this so-called chase hasn't gone as smoothly as everyone imagined.
