Rebirth: Supreme Soul Master

Chapter 271 New Changes in Cultivation Techniques

Ibra's sword has almost no dents around the edge and hilt, making it look strange and more ferocious.

"Stay here and wait for good news." Ibra ran towards the cave entrance without looking back, leaped in, and disappeared inside.

“The timing is perfect.” During this time, William maintained a distance of one hundred meters from the battle of Ibra. At this moment, the monster’s two severed bodies were flailing wildly in the air, releasing the brown liquid that spread outwards.

William knew that if he didn't take action soon, the monster would bleed to death in five minutes at most. But that wouldn't count as killing him anymore.

“It’s time to act.” William was eager to try this technique in real combat for the first time. He had never had the opportunity to actually use it, except to try out how to do it.

But he didn't rush to use it, because he didn't want to exhaust himself. He was prepared for the monster to survive being hit by the scales. In that case, William would have to use a light-based attack again to kill it.

So he walked back, closing the distance between himself and the two objects dancing in the air; he was now nearly fifty meters away from his target.

"I hope I succeed." William gripped his sword tightly, closed his eyes, and recalled the feeling and experience of successfully completing his trial.

When he opened his eyes, his body flashed with light, and at the same time, he began to wield the sword in his hand.

Five bolts of lightning appeared, overlapping his sword. He finally charged forward, striking the two parts of the monster that were thrashing wildly.

The explosion occurred twice, not just once. William only intended to release two arcs of electricity at the monster's head and the remaining three arcs at its tail.

He decided to do this because it was common knowledge that the monster's tail was its weakest and most deadly part. However, when he attacked, he was bewildered by the results he received.

“Electric arcs…they attacked two parts, connected together, as if I released ten instead of five electric arcs here…impressive!” William stood only twenty meters away from the two parts that were now invisible.

A tremendous roar of dust erupted, engulfing the entire area where he stood. The two explosions were so powerful that William felt the ground beneath his legs tremble violently before beginning to collapse.

But what he didn't realize was that the attack went beyond the two parts above ground, fiercely striking the rest of the monster's body buried underground!

The two explosions and what happened next were noticed by all the Soul Masters fighting inside the cave. The entire earth trembled, and the crater grew deeper and wider at an alarming rate.

Don't stand here!

"follow me!"

As all this happened, accompanied by two unexpected explosions from above, all the Soul Masters present knew something was wrong.

Everyone realized how terrible it would be to stay in this cave any longer!

Ibra, the five vice-captains, and all the silver-clad soul masters shouted simultaneously. The bronze-clad soul masters moved and left, while the white-clad members were taken away with the help of the silver-clad members Ibra, Berry, and Sarah.

They all rushed out, leaping across the ground in a split second. Upon landing outside the cave, they saw the ground rumbling violently, and thick dust rising continuously from the opening they had just left.

"How is this going?!"

"what happened?!"

"Could it be another monster?!"

Many people gasped, confused, and fearful, looking around for any approaching monster or the source of the threat that was causing such a strong reaction.

To their surprise, however, they saw nothing around them. Only dust kept rising from the cave entrance, the surrounding ground, and from a particular spot.

"William!" The sight of William standing there as Ibrahimovic left the hole froze Ibrahimovic's thoughts.

"And what about him?!"

"What's wrong with William?!"

Upon hearing Ibrahimovic's sullen shouts, Sarah and Berry immediately became anxious.

“I left him there,” Ibra said, pointing to the thick dust cloud that surrounded and obscured the view of William’s location. “I couldn’t see him anywhere else.”

The two men, along with the others, looked around frantically, hoping William was alright.

“I’m fine,” William’s calm voice came from the center of the thick dust cloud just as they were worried sick about him. “Don’t worry for nothing.”

“Tch! He’s still alive,” Ibrahimovic said, seemingly annoyed. Yet, deep down, he felt a sense of relief.

The two girls ran several meters toward the dust cloud, and when they saw a dark shadow moving deep within the dust, they and the others stopped abruptly.

The dark figure slowly emerged from the thick cloud of dust, step by step, drawing ever closer into their sight. Over the next few minutes, William's face and body finally became clearly visible as he stepped out, longsword in hand, without a single wound.

“William!” Berry called out first, running towards him without realizing it, but as she threw herself into his arms.

As for Sarah, she simply crossed her arms and watched William walk out, a meaningful look on her face.

No one saw what William did, but she could sense the dark elements he used. She felt her mind being stirred by external stimuli, a feeling she had experienced before.
