William headed straight for the summit. The first thing he did was use his rusty sword to clear away any vegetation from the center of the top. After doing this for half an hour, he finally made enough space for the next step.

Without hesitation, he cut his left hand, blood streaming down his fingers. Then he began to write letters in a strange language with his own blood, around the area he had just cleaned.

The letters looked strange; anyone who saw them now would wonder what they meant. But William knew their significance. He was casting some kind of protective spell around the central area.

"Alright." After saying that, he didn't bandage his wound, but walked towards the hillside.

He wasn't worried that his blood would attract the monkeys. After all, he wanted them to come. When he reached the edge of the twenty-meter-high hill, he took out a red leaf flower, pinched it with his blood-stained hands, letting the blood mix with the fragrance, and let it fall to the ground.

The world is unaware of the flower's magical properties. If mixed with blood, it may become a ticking bomb, enough to cause a small explosion.

Of course, the stronger the Blood Lord, the more intense the explosion. But even in his current weakened state, he was certain that the explosion from this flower was enough to kill at least a few monkeys.

He had fifty flowers in his bag, and he found more on the mountaintop and hillside. It took him ten minutes to get everything ready.

After finishing, he began to write another strange symbol in different places around the mountain with his own blood.

"Ready." After using all the flowers, he strode back to the central area he had cleared earlier.

Just a short while ago, he could hear the rapid rustling of leaves around him, a sign that his prey had arrived.

When he returned to the top, he found that the area he had cleared and left his blood to mark its boundaries was almost unchanged. There, he discovered a faint, shimmering dome that appeared to cover an area with a radius of ten meters.

He was certain he was the only one who could see it. After all, this protective dome was forged with his blood.

This was an invisible shield, forged from ancient runes of a long-declining Soul Master empire. While the bombs and the shield didn't deplete his soul power, they did consume a significant portion of his life force.

At that moment, he staggered but kept his body upright as he walked towards the dome. But once inside, he could no longer bear it and fell heavily to the ground.

He struggled to sit up, trying to keep his eyes open. The first thing he did was to circulate his scarce soul power within his body.

It's important to understand that William acquired a vast encyclopedia of knowledge about the spiritual realm. If he could create two top-tier training manuals for Berry to use at will, then he would possess a more suitable and powerful manual.

However, his low soul power is his biggest problem right now. What's more, his soul is still in the earth stage. Therefore, he is only circulating his soul power in the simplest and most basic way.

The monkeys announced their arrival with their distinctive calls. William wasn't worried that they would follow him from inside the dome. After all, this invisible barrier blocked not only sight but also all five senses.

These scarlet monkeys are simple-minded monsters. If faced with a much smarter human, he might fear being discovered.

Sitting there, he could observe the swarms of monkeys approaching. He didn't know whether to laugh or cry, but the large amount of blood he had used so far had attracted not just one group, but three people.

He estimated that the spoils of war would consist of killing around three hundred monsters. But he waited patiently, letting the monkeys climb the mountain and explore it with great interest.

After all, once he launches an attack, the monkeys in the distance will immediately retreat. Even if they are stupid, they still have the instinct to survive.

So he waited, patiently waiting for more monkeys to climb the mountain. The monkeys behaved like any typical monster, somewhat cautious, yet still very bold.

In less than five minutes, the entire mountain was teeming with monkeys. They could smell the blood, but there were no living monsters or humans to be found. Not even a corpse.

When the entire mountain was covered, it was time to attack them. He simply activated the bloodline link he had obtained using the symbol he had left behind. The next moment, a series of explosions erupted, and the surrounding monkeys suffered immense damage.

Even though his strength was so weak, the sheer number of flowers he used, scattered everywhere, turned the entire hill into a scorching hell. William felt the whole hill tremble slightly under the power of his attack.

Therefore, what happened to the monkeys was to be expected. Those who were directly hit were all killed. As for the people on the mountaintop, they were in a panic and scattered in all directions, trying to escape through the dark, orange-lit hillside in the pitch-black night.

They screamed in agony before collapsing to the ground, dead. William concealed himself within an invisible shield, awaiting the restoration of his strength.

His shield could stand for almost ten hours straight without any problems. But if it were discovered, the shield's ability to withstand attacks would likely be greatly reduced.

This was his only worry: that the monkeys might accidentally discover the shield. But contrary to his fears, the monkeys, driven by their survival instincts, simply ran down the mountain to await being burned alive.

They're such a bunch of stupid monkeys!

His next concern was that such sounds and the smell of blood would attract even more terrifying monsters. Even as the fire raged, he could still hear terrifying noises coming from the direction of the forest from time to time.

But not a single monster dared to break through the thick curtain of fire. The fire burned for a very long time before finally being extinguished.

However, the destruction left behind is truly terrifying. An area with a radius of over one kilometer has now been painted black, and much of the fire debris has spread into the surrounding forest areas.
