“Back at the academy, we need a more detailed sealing ritual.” Tian sheathed his twin pistols, his gaze cold and resolute. “The power of the Dragon’s Tears cannot be taken lightly.”

As the dust settled on the battlefield, the four-person team finally enjoyed a brief period of calm, but they all knew in their hearts that the real battle was far from over.

The power of the Dragon's Tears remains hidden deep within, awaiting its next awakening.

The light of the Dragon's Tears gradually faded, but the oppressive feeling in the air did not completely dissipate.

Although Tian and Chu Zihang had temporarily sealed the power of the Dragon's Tear, they knew it was far from time to relax. This victory was only temporary; the dragon's power lay hidden deeper, waiting for its chance to return.

"We're not done yet," Tian said in a low voice, his gaze still fixed on the core of the Dragon's Tear.

Although the light gradually faded, faint runic fluctuations still emanated from the depths of the crack, as if an eye was watching them from the shadows, waiting for the slightest carelessness.

“It’s the will of the dragons.” Chu Zihang also sensed something was wrong and gripped the hilt of his sword tightly. “It’s fighting against us, trying to break free from the seal.”

“That’s right.” Tian’s golden eyes flickered slightly, capturing every change in the core of the Dragon’s Tear. “This power is more tenacious than we imagined. If it is not completely sealed, it will continue to recover and look for opportunities to retaliate.”

Just then, the ground suddenly began to shake violently.

Stones fell from the valley floor, and a heavy, decaying stench filled the air. The Dragon's Tear deep within the crevice emitted a faint light once more, but this time the light carried an ominous red hue, as if it were drawing new power from the depths of the earth.

“The Dragon’s Tears is drawing power from the dragon ruins underground,” Tian quickly analyzed, a cold light flashing in his golden eyes. “The enemy hasn’t given up yet.”

"We must stop it immediately, or the seal will be completely broken," Chu Zihang said nervously, gripping his knife tightly, ready to launch another attack at any moment.

Just as they were preparing to launch the next offensive, a deep roar suddenly came from afar.

The sky began to darken rapidly, thick clouds gathered overhead, and lightning flashed within them, as if foreshadowing an even greater catastrophe. As the roar drew nearer, a tall, dark shadow slowly emerged from the clouds—a colossal phantom of a dragon—its body as massive as a mountain, its eyes burning with scarlet flames.

"This is... the spirit of the dragon race!" Chu Zihang instantly recognized the true nature of the phantom.

Tian's expression darkened slightly. "Dragon's Tears summoned the dragon spirits; it is trying to use these powers to protect itself."

The appearance of the undead made the atmosphere on the battlefield even more tense, and the sense of oppression in the air suddenly increased, as if the whole earth was trembling with its power.

“This thing is unlike the previous guardians; it has no physical form, but its power is still deadly.” Tian calmly analyzed, his golden eyes quickly capturing the movements of the dragon undead.

The undead gave them no more time to think, letting out a deafening roar before suddenly swinging its giant claws, sweeping towards them with the power to destroy everything.

The air was suddenly filled with intense wind pressure, as if the entire valley was being crushed under its giant claws.

"Get out of the way!" Tian quickly dodged the undead's attack. He loaded both guns and fired continuously, the bullets shooting towards the dragon undead's phantom like meteors.

However, the undead's body is a phantom made purely of energy; bullets pierce its body but cannot cause it any real damage.

"This thing is not afraid of physical attacks at all!" Chu Zihang quickly retreated, avoiding the undead's attack, but his blade could not directly threaten the undead either.

"Its power comes from the Dragon's Tears. As long as the Dragon's Tears are still functioning, the undead will not be completely annihilated," Tian quickly analyzed, the light in his golden eyes becoming even sharper. "We must find a way to weaken it."

"This is not a solution at all!" Chu Zihang gritted his teeth, staring intently at the roaring dragon undead.

The undead seemed to sense their predicament and once again swung their giant claws, pouncing with destructive power towards Tian and Chu Zihang.

“Its target is us,” Tian quickly concluded. “It’s trying to draw our attention and buy time for Dragon’s Tears to recover.”

Chu Zihang took a deep breath, his mind racing as he considered countermeasures. "We can't let it hold us back for too long, or the Dragon's Tears will awaken completely."

"Use Words of Power!" Tian suddenly said, his golden eyes flashing with a cold light. "The existence of the undead depends on the energy of the Dragon's Tears. Only through our Words of Power can we effectively weaken its power."

Chu Zihang nodded, quickly adjusted his breathing, and instantly activated the Word of Power "Divine Retribution".

Suddenly, streaks of lightning appeared in the air, striking the ghostly phantom like sharp swords. The lightning collided with the ghost, producing deafening explosions. The ghost's body began to tremble slightly, as if it were resisting Chu Zihang's power of words.

"It's working!" Chu Zihang said in a low voice, a glimmer of hope in his eyes.

"Continue to suppress it!" Tian swiftly activated the Word of Death, "Butterfly of Instant Death," his golden eyes flashing with a cold light.

Purple-blue ghost butterflies danced in the air, instantly covering the ghostly figures of the dead. Death lines appeared on the bodies of the dead, as if marking their impending doom.

The undead let out an angry roar, struggling to break free from the power of the words, but its strength was rapidly waning.

"The opportunity has arrived! Concentrate your attack!" Tian shouted, the light in his golden eyes piercing the undead like a sharp sword.

As the power of the Word of Power suppressed the undead, its body gradually became ethereal, and its power was absorbed by the Dragon's Tears, making it unable to maintain its enormous form.

Seeing this, Chu Zihang immediately launched his final attack, his blade carrying the power of thunder, striking the core of the undead. The intense lightning instantly tore the undead's phantom apart.

The spirit let out a final wail before turning into countless fragments and disappearing into the air.

"Is it over?" Chu Zihang asked breathlessly, his hand holding the knife trembling slightly.

Tian remained vigilant, his gaze still fixed on the core of the Dragon's Tear. "It's not over yet," he said coldly. "The power of the Dragon's Tear is still awakening; it's only summoning the undead to buy time."

“It’s using our time.” Chu Zihang frowned, a hint of seriousness flashing in his eyes. “We must destroy its core immediately, otherwise the seal will not be able to continue.”

Tian nodded, quickly walked towards the core of the Dragon's Tear, loaded both guns, and prepared to launch the final attack.

But at that moment, the core of the Dragon's Tear suddenly trembled violently, and purple light erupted once again, accompanied by a series of low rumbling sounds in the air.

"It's recovering again!" Chu Zihang shouted a warning, preparing to launch a new attack.

"Damn it, it's too late!" Tian gritted his teeth, the light in his golden eyes growing colder. He quickly made a decision, "We must use the power of words to completely seal it!"

Chu Zihang didn't hesitate. He nodded, "We must give it our all. We can't fail!"

The two stood before the core of the Dragon's Tear, the purple light growing ever brighter, as if the entire valley was trembling in anticipation of its awakening.

"One strike to kill." Tian whispered, his golden eyes flashing with a sharp light. He activated the Word of Death "Butterfly of Instant Death" once more, and countless purple-blue ghost butterflies appeared around him.

Purple-blue ghost butterflies danced in the air, hovering around the core of the Dragon's Tear with an aura of death.

Each butterfly seemed to radiate extreme killing intent. As the incantation of the heavens was activated, the core light of the Dragon's Tear began to flicker violently, as if sensing a real threat. The energy fluctuations in the air grew increasingly violent, and the runic protective layer rapidly strengthened, attempting to resist the onslaught of the instant-death butterflies.

"Put more pressure on it!" Tian whispered, the light in his golden eyes piercing the darkness like a sharp sword.

The purple-blue ghostly butterflies swarmed toward the core of the Dragon's Tear, and lines of death quickly appeared on the rune aura, as if marking its impending collapse.

At the same time, Chu Zihang gripped the blade tightly, his eyes flashing with unwavering determination, "Divine retribution!"

With his low shout, a thunderclap suddenly resounded in the sky, and lightning, like a sharp blade, descended from the heavens, striking directly at the core of the Dragon's Tear.
