Reborn into a Farming Family: My 18 Virtuous Wife is a Hero

Chapter 3 Rebirth in Junior High 2 with Superpowers 3

Su Mu burst into laughter, tears streaming down her face. "Women's virtue? Divorce?! Children?! I've tried my best to be a good wife every day since I married into the Xu family! And who's to blame for me, Su Mu, being unable to have children?!"

At this point, Su Mu paused, then raised his head, a smirk playing on his lips, and said with utter sarcasm, "Divorce?! Xu Yafei... as long as you don't regret it, I'll agree!"

***

An hour later, Su Mu stood at the gate with her suitcase, gently stroking her belly with her right hand. She took one last deep look at the place that held eight of her most beautiful years, then turned and left without looking back.

"Bang!" A dull sound came from the darkness, sounding somewhat heavy. A black sedan came to a stop not far away, its tail spinning.

Su Mu lay on the ground covered in blood, a faint glimmer of light flashing from the blood-stained necklace around his neck.

Despite the excruciating pain surging through her body and stomach, she saw a man get out of the car and walk up to her. He was European, with fair skin, bright blue eyes, and a fairly handsome face.

He exuded an aura of unapproachability, staring expressionlessly at Su Mu, who was lying on the ground barely breathing. He bent down and pulled off the necklace from her neck, a hint of amusement and excitement appearing in his cold eyes. He lowered his head and slightly curled the corners of his mouth.

He opened his mouth but made no sound, yet Su Mu could clearly see his lips moving slightly.

“otohell”

(Go to hell!)

Su Mu panicked, felt a brief, sharp pain on his face, and then lost consciousness.

"Xiao Mu, wake up, it's time to take your medicine~" A gentle voice rang in my ears.

"Mommy...Mommy's voice..."

In the darkness, Su Mu suppressed his excitement and uncertainty, struggling to open his eyelids, which felt as heavy as a thousand pounds.

A faint yet blinding light made her close her eyes immediately, but upon hearing the call in her ear, she slowly opened them again.

Under the dim incandescent light, a woman who was not young and even looked a bit rustic came into view. When she saw Su Mu wake up, a smile appeared on her dark face, and she said with surprise, "Little Mu... you're awake! Quick, get up and take your medicine. Mom has been cooking it for a while, and it's cooled down a bit. Quick! Sit up."

As she spoke, a hand reached out from behind Su Mu and steadily helped her sit up.

Su Mu was stunned the moment he saw the woman.

Mom...when did she become so young? I remember seeing her just a month ago. At that time, almost half of her black hair had turned white, and her face was full of deep wrinkles. How did she become so young in just one month?

Also, wasn't he in a car accident? The scene of that man stomping on his head and crushing it immediately flashed into his mind, and he instinctively shuddered.

Who is that man...? Why did he want to kill me...?

When Su Mu's mother, Yang Li, saw that her child's eyes were glazed over, she thought that the child was delirious from the fever. She immediately hugged her, touched her head, and hurriedly called out.

"Xiao Mu, what's wrong? Don't scare Mommy. Are you still feeling unwell?!"

Hearing the anxious words in his ear, Su Mu finally came to his senses, hugged his mother tightly, and called out softly.

"Mom, I'm okay."

Seeing that the child had come to her senses, Yang Li hugged her with peace of mind.

Suppressing his immense doubts, Su Mu looked around. The drab cement house and the sparsely furnished interior were practically bare.

However, Su Mu didn't care about any of that. He was just very surprised. This was clearly the home where he lived when he was a child. He remembered that his family had moved into an apartment building when he was in the first semester of his third year of junior high school. How did he end up here?!
