The Path to Another World

Before the three men's fists could even touch the Azure Dragon, it laughed heartily and stood up amidst their terrified gazes. All its wounds had healed, and its strength had returned to its peak. With a long roar, it transformed into its enormous form, fiercely sweeping its tail to send the three men flying. Outnumbered, it had no time to engage in a prolonged fight. It was well aware that the Nirvana Technique had a time limit, so escape was the best option. As long as it escaped safely, there would be plenty of time to settle scores later. "Gentlemen, I will remember your hospitality today. Once I recover, I will definitely pay you all a visit. Don't let me not be able to find you then! However, on this continent, there really is nowhere that can escape my pursuit. I'll be going now, no need to see me off!" the Azure Dragon laughed, leaping into the air and soaring into the heavens.

Seeing that the Azure Dragon, whom they had expected to fight to the death, had chosen to flee, the three were greatly alarmed. Seeing a formidable obstacle suddenly appear out of nowhere, and noticing the thin energy shield, the Azure Dragon coldly shouted, "Don't meddle! I am the Azure Dragon Divine Envoy of the East! Get out of my way!" It carelessly charged forward, but with a loud bang, the seemingly flimsy energy shield actually bounced the massive Azure Dragon back. The Azure Dragon knew it had encountered a master no less powerful than itself, someone with ill intentions. It couldn't linger any longer. With a swift flick of its tail, it shattered the energy shield, revealing the attacker: a handsome middle-aged man with golden hair, dressed in a white robe, hovering silently in the air, exuding benevolence. He held an exquisite scepter, his body devoid of any energy fluctuations. Behind him floated a woman in black, with black hair and a black veil. Clearly, it was the middle-aged man who had attacked. The two stood there silently, showing no intention of yielding.

"Who are you? Do you know what you're doing?" Qinglong shouted coldly. He was very familiar with this continent and there were no cultivators dressed in such strange attire. He looked around at his surroundings, looking for a way to escape, because he only had one chance to attack.

"Hehe, who we are is not important. I'm just very interested in this continent and want to develop my followers here! And you just happen to be in my way!" the middle-aged man said elegantly, his arrogant demeanor like that of a god who is untouched by worldly affairs.

"No wonder these three scoundrels dared to rebel; they had someone backing them up! Anyone can talk big, let's see if you have the ability!" Qinglong said coldly, looking at the three people surrounding him. It seemed there was no chance of escape; only a desperate fight might offer even the slightest hope, even a sliver of divine sense. Thinking this, Qinglong instantly transformed into a bolt of lightning and pounced on the middle-aged man. As the saying goes, to catch a thief, first catch the leader; to kill a man, first kill his horse. This middle-aged man was clearly the leader of this group; he believed that only by subduing him would everything become much simpler.

Seeing the approaching Azure Dragon, the man showed no fear, still wearing a slight smile. He raised his scepter and laughed, "God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light. Great Prophecy!" White light once again enveloped the approaching Azure Dragon. Seeing itself trapped again, the Azure Dragon was enraged, spitting out a mouthful of blood. Several enormous bolts of Kui Water Lightning reappeared, directly striking the dragon. The light barrier shook, and the Azure Dragon was overjoyed, increasing its attack speed. After spitting out four or five more mouthfuls of blood essence, it finally shattered the light barrier.

Having broken through the light barrier, the Azure Dragon's aura weakened considerably. Looking at the smiling man still inside, a sense of powerlessness rose within him. The difference in strength between them was too great; it seemed that leaving today would not be easy and would certainly come at a price. Glancing at the precious bronze Bagua in his Qiankun bag, an idea surged into his mind, and a bold plan took shape. "I'll fight you to the death!" the Azure Dragon roared, charging towards the two in the air at top speed. Just as he approached the mysterious man, the Azure Dragon gritted his teeth, reversed his meridians, and a surge of pure energy emanated from his body. His already enormous body grew larger and larger, like a balloon, threatening to explode at any moment. Seeing this, the three members of Amaterasu's group paled and hastily retreated at top speed. Even the usually composed mysterious man and the woman in black couldn't help but change their expressions. Although they had sealed off this space, if the Azure Dragon were to self-destruct, it might alert some old monsters, and their plan might be ruined.

The mysterious man and the woman in black robes exchanged a glance before striking simultaneously. Their palms met, and a burst of scorching white light emanated from the man, bright yet ruthless. The woman in black robes, on the other hand, unleashed black energy, carrying a deathly and sinister aura. Despite their opposing natures, the two energies did not react chemically but instead balanced and fused into a small black and white energy sphere. This sphere, carrying a destructive aura, pierced through the void and flew towards the Azure Dragon, instantly enveloping it like a bubble. This seemingly ordinary move appeared to have exhausted a great deal of their energy, leaving their faces slightly pale.

A flow of black and white light appeared, as two energies of completely opposite attributes intertwined and nestled together peacefully. However, Qinglong felt a strange unease. Neither pure yang nor pure yin can exist alone; the union of yin and yang—wasn't this the chaotic power that only the most powerful beings could wield? The seemingly calm energy sphere emitted waves of destructive aura, filling Qinglong with despair. He sensed the increasingly unstable energy sphere, as if it were about to explode at any moment. Thinking of the conspiracy hidden behind all this, Qinglong finally made up his mind; otherwise, he would be a sinner against this continent.

With eyes closed and teeth clenched, it channeled all the energy within the Dragon Ball into its body, its massive eyes wide open as it roared, "Explode!" Instantly, the enormous azure dragon's body shattered into pieces of flesh, shooting outwards. A gigantic mushroom cloud slowly rose, and the entire space resembled a shattered pane of glass, revealing countless spatial cracks. No one noticed that just before the self-destruction, an antique bronze Bagua (Eight Trigrams) rose from the Qiankun bag. A miniature azure dragon, about three feet long, slipped into the Bagua while no one was watching, then used the spatial cracks created by the self-destruction to escape into them. In the distance, the screams of several kazaji and the mysterious man's frantic shouts could still be heard: "Find him for me! Don't let even a wisp of his soul or consciousness escape..."
