"Boom-"

The small boat bumped into the shore, and Fang Chang lightly jumped ashore.

Fangzai could have gracefully "flew" ashore—using his tentacles to pull himself up to the shore—but there were too few spectators, and he was too lazy to pull off such an ineffective maneuver.

Arriving at the theater's main entrance, looking at the mottled, old gate that reeked of decay, Fang Chang tilted his head and thought for a moment, then shook his head and chuckled before kicking it out!

"boom!"

The solid wood door, which had withstood decades of wind and rain without being completely corroded, flew into the theater along with its frame.

He waved his hand, brushing aside the flying debris, and looked inside.

Inside the theater, rows of seats with faintly discernible dark red woolen soles lay askew, and the once magnificent pure black curtain was now covered with unknown dark green vines.

"Nobody, oh no, no ghosts?" Fang Chang muttered to himself.

"Click!"

A sudden click of a mechanism rang out, and Fang Chang narrowed his eyes. Sure enough, things couldn't go that smoothly.

“Click, click—”

A series of mechanical sounds surged in like a tide, and the long-standing theater was suddenly filled with "people"!

Fang Chang looked again and saw that in each seat there was a head staring straight at him!

Each head had a pair of disproportionately large, pale eyes, with bone fragments even showing at the corners of the eyes.

"I have to say, your aesthetic sense is a bit outdated," Fang Chang said with considerable disdain.

"Never mind that." With a flick of his wrist, two oil drums, each half a person's height, appeared on the ground. "Since this is my first visit, I didn't know what to bring. Seeing that your place is rather quiet, I brought some lively things."

Before he finished speaking, Fang Chang kicked the two oil drums one after the other into the depths of the theater. The light brown liquid, emitting a pleasant aroma, immediately spilled throughout the theater.

The oil drums were picked up from a factory in the Amazon rainforest, and the lids had already been opened before they arrived!

Fangzai always prefers to plan ahead before acting. What if he kicks down here and the oil drum rolls over without missing a single piece? Wouldn't that be awkward?

When the time comes, should I jog over and open the lid, or stand still and pretend nothing happened?

“Click, click—”

Another mechanical click interrupted Fang Chang's reverie. Nearly a hundred strangely drawn puppets stood in the theater, their faces bearing eerie smiles.

Fang Chang didn't know how these puppets could make a "smiling" expression, since their faces were fixed.

But this doesn't change Fangzai's preconceived notion that they are incredibly ugly.

In the original series, Jamie was searching for clues when Mary Shaw led him here, accompanied by an American police officer.

In the original storyline, Jamie's wife died without cause, making Jamie the prime suspect. However, due to a lack of evidence, the police had no choice but to release him.

Meanwhile, a responsible detective continued to relentlessly pursue Jamie, hoping to find evidence to bring him to justice—he was convinced that Jamie was the murderer, but that his methods were too clean.

Jamie and the agent became entangled in a series of events and eventually formed a temporary "partnership".

Later, on a dark and stormy night, Jack, along with his fellow detectives, arrived at the Lakeside Theater...

The result was obvious: Jack, with the protagonist's halo, escaped unscathed, while the detective who was determined to catch the killer died a swift and decisive death in the theater.

During his escape, Jay accidentally set the theater curtain on fire, destroying over a hundred dolls that Mary Shaw had hidden there.

Originally, Fang Chang wanted to learn from the plot and secretly set the theater on fire, but he was discovered before he could even start.

What can be done?

The only solution was to turn arson into open burning!

If I were to burn down this theater, which puppet would agree, and which evil spirit would oppose it?

Those who oppose it, scatter your spiritual consciousness; those who support it, line up and wait to be burned!

Seeing that Mary Shaw was still playing the old horror invasion game, trying to raise the audience's adrenaline, Fang Chang didn't play along. He directly opened the borrowed lighter, lit it, and burned it!

Flames spread and leaped wildly in the dimly lit theater, and the originally eerie atmosphere gradually dissipated as the temperature rose.

Seeing that her most familiar methods were not working, Mary Shaw began to lose patience, and the dolls began to stir!

"Crack!"

A doll suddenly appeared beside Fang Chang, tilting its head back and revealing a... ugly smile...

Fang Chang tilted his head back slightly, revealing a look of disgust:

Has anyone ever told you that your smile is ugly?

Fang Chang narrowed his eyes, and an invisible force erupted, causing the puppet beside him to suddenly explode!

"So, are you coming one by one, or all at once?" Fang Chang's voice echoed throughout the theater as his magical power circulated.

Without a response, all the puppets simultaneously charged towards Fang Chang with a speed and agility disproportionate to their physical size!

Centered on the square, a semi-circular canopy formed by puppets unfolds instantly to the left and right!

Jamie, who had been standing by the roadside gazing in this direction, only saw Fang Chang tilt his head and seem to say something before disappearing in the next second!

Instead, a mountain of tiny dolls has been erected!

Jamie felt goosebumps erupt instantly. When the eerie moves from darkness into the sunlight, fear can drive one to despair!

"roll!!"

With a thunderous roar, a crack appeared in the "Puppet Mountain," and a sliver of golden light shone through!

Immediately afterwards, countless golden rays burst forth from the "mountain," causing the raging flames in the theater to momentarily halt!

The "Puppet Mountain" exploded with a roar. Fang Changshang made a feint, his eyes gleaming with golden light over a foot long, and his body was enveloped in an invisible surge of energy as he floated in mid-air!

"You ghosts and demons, how dare you bully me when I am helpless!"

Fang Chang hovered in mid-air, one hand clenched into a fist and pulled back as if drawing a bow, then suddenly threw out a punch!

The countless dolls on the ground that hadn't even had time to get up exploded on the spot, as if attacked by some enormous force!

"Is this what an exorcist is like...?" Jamie stood by the roadside, watching Fang Chang display his power, looking like a lackey.

It's just that he was standing far away and couldn't see clearly enough, otherwise he would have noticed that when Fang Chang threw a punch, what was blasted into the ground was a long, suspicious mark...

"what!!"

A piercing scream echoed far and wide in the theater, and a tall clown puppet suddenly leaped out of the water behind Fang Chang, its red-glowing hands plunging straight into the back of Fang Chang's head!

At this moment, Fang Chang had just finished dealing with the puppet in front of him, seemingly unaware of the impending attack!

"Watch out behind you!!"

Jamie, the henchman, stood by the roadside, fretting with worry!

The clown doll stared intently at the back of Fang Chang's head, its red hands about to touch its target. The scene of brains splattering seemed to appear before its eyes, and it even felt as if it could taste the sweetness of blood!

But the next second, the clown doll suddenly realized that its hands could not go any further.

"what happened?"

An invisible force tightly bound its hands, and magical light instantly climbed up and covered its entire body!

In that instant, it felt as if it were a fly trapped in amber, unable to utter a single sound!

"A sneak attack? That's utterly despicable."

A pair of clean, slender hands slowly covered the clown's face.

The clown doll only had time to hear those words before its head was crushed open by immense force!

"Crash-"

As the fire in the theater raged on, the puppets seemed to realize they couldn't stop the fire and began to change their attack strategy.

Suddenly, a doll appeared at Fang Chang's feet, wrapping its arms around one of his feet.

Another puppet grabbed its companion's legs, and then they were linked together to form a long chain. A surge of power suddenly erupted, and Fang Chang, caught off guard, was dragged into the theater's inferno!
