All Gods: I am a master of all professions, who dares to oppose me?

Chapter 3 I've already transmigrated and I still have to work overtime

Fang Chang walked towards the direction from which the sound came.

A group of people approached, led by a strikingly beautiful long-haired policewoman, followed by several burly, somewhat unattractive men. The policewoman exuded an air of decisiveness and efficiency. Fang Chang held her in very high regard.

"Her looks are second only to mine!"

Of course, this evaluation may also be because the policewoman was well-received by the supporting characters around her.

As for why you can see his decisive and efficient aura at first glance.

It's very simple. When someone walks very fast, with a slightly furrowed brow and eyes fixed straight ahead, even if their destination is the toilet, it will give people the illusion that they are going to do something important.

As the other person drew closer, Fang Chang gradually felt a sense of familiarity, as if he had vaguely seen them somewhere before, but couldn't quite place it. Before he could collect his thoughts, the other person strode up to Fang Chang, extending their hand and saying:

"Hello, I am Lu Xuanxin from headquarters."

The moment the other person gave their name, the vague sense of familiarity suddenly became clear.

"It will determine who is superior and who is inferior, and it will also decide who lives and who dies!"

Fang Chang recalled this classic line. What followed was the image of a young man with a fierce face and a limp.

"If nothing unexpected happens, this should be the world of 'Kung Fu Jungle'!" With that thought, Fang Chang finally felt relieved. Judging from the movie's plot, the overall environment of this world seemed very peaceful and stable. And as a police officer, he was even more secure!

As expected, it's just like its master. Such a stable world, such a stable arrangement, it truly lives up to its reputation as my system! Fang Chang silently gave himself a thumbs up in his heart.

From the initial shock of transmigrating to the current bewilderment, Fang Chang finally breathed a sigh of relief. However, his outward reaction was completely nonexistent; he simply ignored Lu Xuanxin and her group. After all, he was just an ordinary person experiencing transmigration for the first time; what amazing reactions could one expect from him after such a rollercoaster of emotions?

Meanwhile, Lu Xuanxin looked at Fang Chang, whose gaze was gradually becoming unfocused and who remained unresponsive, and sighed inwardly. Headquarters had said they had arranged for an expert to assist him in handling this case, but now it seemed that although this "expert" was handsome enough, he was most likely just there to gain experience. She could only hope that he would just be a pretty face and not interfere with the case.

"Officer Fang?" Lu Xuanxin suppressed her impatience and called out to Officer Fang again.

"Ah, hello, hello, I'm Chief Inspector Fang from headquarters!" Chief Inspector Fang said quickly, snapping out of his daze.

"I heard from Officer Lin at headquarters that you're here to assist us in investigating this case. I hope we can work together smoothly from now on!" Without waiting for Fang Chang's reply, he led several team members forward, adopting an attitude of "I'll handle the case, you can gain experience," and "we won't interfere with each other."

Although Fang Chang didn't understand what had happened to make this "important supporting character" in the movie somewhat dissatisfied with him, he didn't think it was a big deal. It's like how online game players don't usually get upset with certain NPCs; as long as they can complete the quest, nothing else matters.

The group toured the crime scene, where the police officers in front of Lu Xuanxin explained the information they had gathered so far; everything was exactly the same as at the beginning of the movie.

Fang Chang, who was following behind the group, listened to the lecture while recalling the plot.

The plot of the movie "Kung Fu Jungle" is not complicated. It tells the story of a martial arts fanatic with a congenital disability who challenges various martial arts masters in a technologically advanced modern society, hoping to fulfill his dream of becoming the world's number one martial arts master.

In the film, Baoqiang plays a martial arts fanatic who originally had a happy family, but his lover was terminally ill. Seeing her grow weaker day by day, the helplessness drove him to despair. In the end, he ended his lover's life with his own hands, transforming into the martial arts fanatic Feng Yuxiu, and began to live only for his dream.

His dream, however, requires the blood of others to embellish it, a journey filled with challenges and battles. "It's a matter of determining superiority and inferiority, and of life and death." This melodramatic line runs throughout the entire film. As various masters fall, Xiahou Wu (played by Ip Man), the "Number One Under Heaven" martial arts master who was imprisoned years ago for accidental murder, is forced to be released to face the challenge.

The film lacks a particularly compelling plot; aside from a few necessary embellishments, the entire movie revolves around fighting. Compared to the protagonist Xiahou Wu, the antagonist Feng Yuxiu stands out more due to his strong adolescent chuunibyou (adolescent delusions of grandeur) vibe and hard-hitting fighting style.

If we place Feng Yuxiu within the worldview of ancient martial arts heroes, his actions are understandable—bearing the title of King of XX means facing a constant stream of challengers. Reputation is earned through battle; choosing to roam the martial world means being prepared for a life beyond one's control.

Just like Liu Zhengfeng in The Smiling, Proud Wanderer, who washed his hands clean, he could not wash away the grudges and affections on his body.

But for the martial artists living in modern times in "Kung Fu Jungle," someone as reckless as Feng Yuxiu is a bit terrifying:

Everyone has to go to work tomorrow, and you start fighting like this right away?

I've worked all day, and you expect me to put down my lunchbox and fight you?

Aren't you afraid of being laid off and losing your job?

Aren't you afraid your whole family will end up sleeping on the streets?

Others are just sparring with you, are you here to kill them?

In truth, Feng Yuxiu's dream of becoming a martial arts master died the moment he was born. Times have changed; where is there any martial arts world left that thrives on bravery and violence?

In Fang Chang's hazy memory, there was very little he could do in this world. After all, he didn't know how to fight, so he could only get by by following the plot.

"According to the forensic report, his injuries were most likely inflicted by bare hands. His throat appears intact, but his neck and trachea are actually completely broken," the forensic officer explained carefully. Fang Chang, meanwhile, was lost in thought behind the others.

Unfortunately, the system hadn't provided even a simple prompt yet, leaving Fang Zai completely clueless about what to do. Fortunately, this situation didn't last long; half an hour later, Fang Chang arrived at the headquarters conference room with the other officers.

It was Fangzai's first time at the police station, and he seemed a bit like Grandma Liu visiting the Grand View Garden. Fortunately, he didn't do anything out of line, but his eyes kept wandering around, so no one noticed.

Fangzai chose an inconspicuous spot in the conference room and sat down. Looking at the serious-looking people, he felt like a husky that had wandered into a pack of wolves. He was a little scared, but not too scared.

"Later, we'll consolidate all the information we have on this case so far, and then assign tasks to each group," Lu Xuanxin said before even sitting down. "Also, it might be quite late today. Big Guy, could you get everyone some coffee?"

At this moment, Fangzi, who had just pretended to take paper and pen to slack off, looked up, his eyes revealing a hint of confusion.

"I've already time-traveled, why do I still have to work overtime?"
