The intense light engulfed everything. Fan Tong felt dizzy and disoriented, as if his body was being torn apart, crushed, and then reassembled.

The wind howled in my ears, and a rainbow of colors flashed before my eyes, as if I were in a wildly spinning kaleidoscope.

He closed his eyes tightly, but could still feel the light shining through his eyelids.

My stomach was churning, and waves of nausea were rising in my body.

The other three were in no better shape; their terrified screams were distorted and drawn out, as if they came from another world.

After an unknown amount of time, the earth-shattering sensation finally stopped.

Fan Tong slowly opened his eyes. The blinding white light gradually faded, replaced by a strange space.

Beneath my feet were hard, smooth stone slabs, emanating a faint chill that seeped into my soles through my thin-soled boots.

The surrounding walls were covered with intricate runes, shimmering with a faint blue light, like stars twinkling in the night sky.

An ancient and mysterious aura permeated the air, inspiring awe.

"Who are you? How dare you tamper with the Spirit Pearl!" A deep and authoritative voice echoed through the space.

A figure draped in a gray robe appeared out of thin air. He was tall and his face was covered by a hood, making it impossible to see his true appearance. However, the powerful spiritual energy emanating from his body was not to be underestimated.

"Senior, we had no intention of offending you, we just wandered into this place by mistake..." Fan Tong quickly explained, clasping his hands in a gesture of respect.

"Intruded? Hmph! How dare you touch the Spirit Pearl!" The guardian's tone was icy, unmoved. "Trespassing on forbidden territory is an unforgivable crime!"

Old Camel was an honest and simple man. Seeing the tense atmosphere, he stepped forward, trying to ease the tension. "Senior, we really didn't mean it, we..."

Before he could finish speaking, the guardian waved his sleeve, and an invisible force sent the old camel back several steps.

The old camel staggered a few times, almost falling over, and his face instantly turned pale.

The air froze instantly and the atmosphere became tense.

The guardian suddenly waved his hand, and the white light instantly transformed into several spirit snakes, which snaked and rushed towards Fan Tong and the others.

These spirit snakes are not physical entities, but are formed from pure spiritual energy. Wherever they pass, the air seems to be torn apart, emitting a piercing shriek.

Fan Tong's eyes narrowed, and his hands quickly formed hand seals. His spiritual power surged wildly within him as he attempted to construct a defensive barrier.

However, he was surprised to find that in this mysterious space, his spiritual power seemed to be bound by invisible shackles, making its operation extremely sluggish and its power greatly reduced.

The defensive barrier had barely formed when it was easily pierced by the serpent, its scorching heat burning his skin and causing him excruciating pain.

"Watch out!" Lan Xing and Han Xinru exclaimed at the same time. They wanted to help Fan Tong, but found themselves in a cage made of runes. The runes, which were flashing with blue light, seemed to be alive and firmly bound their movements.

No matter how much they struggled, they could not break free of the restraints and could only watch helplessly as Fan Tong endured the attack alone.

Anxiety and helplessness intertwined, casting a shadow over their hearts.

Just as Fan Tong was about to be devoured by the spirit snake, the honest and kind old camel suddenly roared, "Wait!" He rushed to the guardian, spread his arms, and stood in front of Fan Tong like a wall.

This sudden action stunned everyone, including the Guardian himself.

“Senior,” the old camel’s voice was loud but choked with emotion, “We have endured so many hardships in order to find this spirit pearl! We have crossed mountains and valleys, endured wind and rain, and almost lost our lives several times! We came here at all costs to relieve the drought in our hometown! We have no ill intentions, senior!” The old camel’s voice was tinged with grievance and firmness, as if it were telling the tragic story of a hero.

His words were simple, yet full of genuine feelings, echoing in the silent space.

A hint of doubt flashed in the guardian's originally cold eyes.

His waving hand paused slightly, and the white light in his palm dimmed a bit.

He seemed drawn in by the old camel's words and wanted to hear what they had been through.

"What...what did you say?" the guardian asked, his voice tinged with barely perceptible hesitation.

The guardian snorted coldly, and the white light in his palm surged again, even more dazzling than before, as if it would devour the entire space.

"Eloquent words and a flattering face! Trespassing into forbidden territory is an unforgivable crime!" He suddenly swung his palm, and this time the spirit snake was even thicker and faster, carrying a destructive aura, heading straight for the old camel.

The old camel's expression changed drastically. He tried to dodge, but found that he couldn't move at all.

At this critical moment, Fan Tong's figure flashed and stood in front of the old camel.

He crossed his arms to protect his chest, enduring the snake's attack head-on.

"Fan Tong!" Han Xinru and Lan Xing exclaimed in surprise, their eyes instantly turning red.

Fan Tong groaned as his body was thrown back by the enormous impact, crashing heavily to the ground. A metallic taste rose in his throat, and he spat out a mouthful of blood.

He struggled to stand up, but felt as if all his bones were falling apart, and the pain was unbearable.

Just then, Fan Tong noticed that whenever the Guardian launched an attack, the runes around him would dim briefly.

This discovery rekindled a glimmer of hope in his heart.

"Old Camel, Blue Star, Xinru, when the Guardian attacks, the runes around him will darken!"

The guardian waved his hand again, and the spirit snake roared out, barely managing to dodge it.

In the space, the blue light flickered erratically, like breathing, sometimes bright and sometimes dim, as if it too was worried about them.

"Focus your attacks on the areas where the runes are dim!" Fan Tong shouted, enduring the excruciating pain as he mobilized the little spiritual power he had left.

Lan Xing and Han Xinru exchanged a glance and immediately understood Fan Tong's intention.

They attacked simultaneously, their spiritual power transforming into two sharp swords that struck the dim runes beside the guardian.

Old Camel also mustered his courage, condensed all his spiritual power into a huge clod of earth, and slammed it hard against the rune.

The guardians hadn't expected them to find their weakness. Caught off guard, they were hit and staggered back, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

Fan Tong and the others wore victorious smiles.

Just when they thought the crisis was over, the Spirit Pearl suddenly flew into the air, emitting a dazzling light, and merged with the runes in the space.

The entire space began to shake violently, as if it were about to collapse.

"This is bad!" Fan Tong's expression changed drastically. "Get out of here immediately!"
