Quick Transmigration: Let Me Tell You, I'm a Social Anxiety Person

Chapter 515 Extra Chapter: Precious Snow (Part 1)

On the night of the wedding, the commander of the Eternal Day Fleet submitted his marriage leave application to Wen Ying's office system. She personally approved it and also took a long leave for herself.

On their first day after getting married, the two spent the time at home. Late at night, Wen Ying picked up her personal terminal and glanced at it, only to find that she had only taken fifteen steps that day.

Qin Shu took a little more steps than her, exceeding four hundred steps. After all, it was quite a walk from the bedroom to the kitchen and bathroom. He took care of all three meals a day and also helped her take a bath.

"looking at what?"

Wen Ying turned her head, and the glass was already brought to her lips. She had just said she was thirsty, and Qin Shu had gone to pour her some water.

She took a sip of warm water, and the computer showed that Qin Shu had taken more than ten steps more than her.

"Don't you think we're not getting enough exercise?" Wen Ying asked.

Qin Shu followed her gaze and said, "It seems so." After finishing the remaining half glass of water, he began to kiss her tenderly. He took her hand, covered the back of her hand with his, and guided her to slip her hand under his clothes.

Wen Ying's attention was quickly drawn to the clearly defined abdominal muscles on the soles of his hands.

The computer fell into the crevice of the pillow, silently turning off the screen.

The following evening, Wen Ying pointed to the data on the optical computer and raised the same question from the previous night again.

Qin Shu still showed his agreement by taking her hand and touching the buttons on his shirt.

Wen Ying opened her mouth, feeling that she should appropriately resist bad temptations.

The drawer was suddenly pulled open, and Qin Shu took out the cat ear headband that she had bought but never used.

He handed the headband to her.

Wen Ying's lips curled up: "Shall I put it on you?"

"Mmm." Qin Shu obediently lowered his head, watching her put the headband on him.

The cat ears were black, blending into the thick, dark hair, with milky-white bows tied at the edges, each adorned with two small bells. Wen Ying raised her hand and flicked them: "From now on, Qin Shu is my little cat. Little cats can't use human language; they can only meow like kittens. Understand?"

Qin Shu nodded, and the bells on the edges of the cat ears jingled softly.

“Answer me in the language of a kitten.” She scratched his chin, her fingers moving down to press on his sliding Adam’s apple.

He looked calm, as if he meowed without any psychological burden, but Wen Ying could clearly feel the rise and fall of his chest and his rapid heartbeat.

"Good boy." She let go of the kitten's hand. "Give the kitten a reward."

My Adam's apple was bitten, and my heartbeat became erratic near my ear.

Wen Ying exerted a little force, and a muffled groan escaped from his throat, his breathing trembling slightly.

She looked up, and Qin Shu looked down at her, his eyelids slightly red. She touched them and found they were a little hot.

Is the kitten feeling unwell?

"It's very comfortable," he replied honestly, his voice slightly hoarse.

Wen Ying made a "hmm?" sound. Qin Shu hugged her, pressed his burning ear against her neck, and answered in cat language until she was satisfied.

He kissed her earlobe, asking for the next reward.

The crisp ringing of the bell didn't stop until the middle of the night. The kitten couldn't understand human language, nor could it understand the human's intermittent, almost incoherent, powerless refusal.

On the third day, Wen Ying, after much agonizing reflection, dressed herself as soon as she woke up this time.

“What’s it like to exercise at home all day?” she said, standing up firmly. “It’s time to get some fresh air outside.”

"Okay." Qin Shu slightly parted his lips and straightened her slightly crooked collar. "I'll listen to you."

They originally planned to go for a walk outside, but since they are both public figures, they would cause a sensation wherever they went.

We agreed to breathe fresh air, and Wen Ying didn't want to wear a mask.

The mechanical bird flew over and perched on her shoulder. It had been playing games for two days and was getting ready to go out.

Meeting those brown eyes, Wen Ying had a flash of inspiration and pulled Qin Shu and the mechanical bird back to the place where they first met.

As their feet touched the ground, a biting cold wind enveloped them.

Snowflakes fell in abundance, and despite the fierce north wind, the mechanical bird remained enthusiastic, spreading its wings against the gale to search for traces of the enormous animals that lived on this land.

"I had hoped to enjoy the spring scenery with you," Wen Ying said regretfully.

No flowers are in bloom at this time of year.

She came in such a hurry that she forgot to convert the time; it was the dead of winter here, and the weather was freezing cold everywhere.

“Winter is nice too.” Qin Shu glanced at her sideways. “When it’s cold, I can hold your hand.”

Wen Ying smiled gently. Qin Shu put their intertwined fingers into his coat pocket, and they walked side by side for a distance.

The footprints in the snow were winding and meandering. Qin Shu paused slightly and glanced sideways.

The surrounding area was still a vast expanse of white, looking no different from other snowy landscapes.

Wen Ying pretended not to notice anything and pulled him forward. He paused for a moment, then followed.

Wen Ying suddenly turned around and pinched his cheek: "What were you thinking about just now? Why didn't you say it?"

Fortunately, she can now hear the voice in his heart; otherwise, she would have missed her chance.

"I was thinking about the first time I saw you." He pressed the back of her hand, his cheek against her palm.

Wen Ying also recalled that day, that unintentional glance through the blood-stained window.

“When you appeared in front of me, I thought I was dreaming.” Qin Shu’s voice was very low. “For many days afterward, I thought I was dreaming.”

"No wonder you don't want to sleep..."

Wen Ying gently stroked his face, met his somewhat dazed gaze, and leaned into his arms.

"Do you know why I took you home in the first place?"

"Why?" Qin Shu asked. He had always thought that she took him in out of kindness.

She had compassion for all things in the world, and he happened to be one of them, a being favored by her.

This favor earned him her love and gave him the right to love her in return.

Therefore, he always felt that he was lucky.

“Because you are very good-looking.” Wen Ying was a little embarrassed when she mentioned judging people by their appearance. “Of course, that’s not the most important reason. The important reason is that I think you and I look alike, although we don’t look that alike now… But, in a world where I am all alone, if someone as special as you suddenly fell from the sky, I immediately decided that even if you are a bad guy, I would take you back and raise you.”

Qin Shu gently tugged at the corner of his lips.

Wen Ying laughed: "Luckily you behaved well later, otherwise you would have been locked up at home by me every day and never be able to go out again. ...Is it just my imagination, but you seem a little regretful?"

"Yes, a little. It's an honor to be locked in your house by you." He looked down at her, kissed her palm, and when she moved her hand away, he lightly kissed her lips. "But it's also nice to go out together. As long as I can be with you, I'm content no matter what."

As they were talking, the mechanical bird flew back.

Events that have already happened cannot be experienced again. Even with Wen Ying's current power, the time that can be rewritten is only a few minutes. Therefore, their location is still the same, but the time is different.

The mechanical bird couldn't find any trace of the large animals. As for the other animals that were born later, they were still hibernating. It sadly folded its wings and landed on Wen Ying's hand.

“There is still a lot of life on the seabed,” Wen Ying comforted it. “Let’s go and see it together.”

Wen Ying's former residence was not far away, situated between the seabed and the land.

There were no fish beads inside the mechanical bird's body, so Wen Ying wrapped it in a transparent bubble.

She held Qin Shu's hand with one hand and hugged the bubble that was used to protect the mechanical bird with the other arm.

The moment my body submerged into the sea, the person beside me changed.

The mechanical bird tumbled around in the bubble, dizzy and disoriented. But when it saw Qin Shu's shimmering fishtail, it immediately stopped feeling dizzy and depressed, and started chirping a bunch of bird language to express its shock.

Once the two people and the bird officially entered the underwater world, the mechanical bird perked up and quickly joined the throngs of fish.

"Don't run too far," Wen Ying reminded it, then turned to Qin Shu.

His gaze was fixed on her.

Immediately, Qin Shu leaned down to her, cupped the back of her head, and kissed her lips.

The taste lingers on the tongue, accompanied by the slightly salty seawater.

The other half of the fish pearl had already returned to Wen Ying's body and did not need to be shared through a kiss.

He simply couldn't resist the urge to kiss her.

Wen Ying hugged his waist and returned the kiss. Actually, she also wanted to kiss him, but she was a little shy because the mechanical bird was there.

"What color tail do you want to see me conjure?" she asked with a smile.

Qin Shu's answer was exactly as she had guessed: "The same as mine."

As he spoke, the unruly fish tail had already wrapped itself tightly around her legs.

Therefore, when the other fish tail appeared, they simply intertwined even more intimately, their smooth scales rubbing against each other, like hazy moonlight reflected together in the light of the seabed.

Wen Ying tapped Qin Shu with the tip of her tail. He paused, then awkwardly patted her back, the force very light, more like a rub than a slap.

Wen Ying originally wanted the fish tail to loosen so they could swim forward independently, but Qin Shu's gaze remained fixed on her. Even though she wasn't wearing the cat ear headband, she acted as if she couldn't understand human language.

He was especially clingy today.

The tail was so hot it was almost cooking the fish, but I just didn't want to let go.

"Then let's just drift along like this." Wen Ying turned her body and looked up.

"Okay." Qin Shu's fishtail wrapped around her again, and he took her hand.

They were like two pieces of fish stuck together, hand in hand, drifting with the current on the seabed.

The massive bodies of whales swam overhead, casting shadows, while bizarre jellyfish swam past them, and schools of fish chased each other, surrounding them and forming dazzling, colorful whirlpools.

Countless beautiful and novel sights flashed across her vision, and every time she turned her head, she always met his gaze.

-

As night fell, they prepared to return home.

Before leaving the seabed, Wen Ying pulled Qin Shu along and picked up many naturally broken corals, uniquely shaped stones, and a pile of scales and bones.

Vivian liked these unusual things, and she planned to give them to Vivian as gifts.

Qin Shu found her a super big turtle shell, and Wen Ying was overjoyed. She cupped his face and kissed him several times.

His fishtail silently slid over and wrapped around her, his arms embraced her, and their bodies pressed quietly together.

Wen Ying popped a small bubble out and sent it to find the mechanical bird. In just a few minutes, the bubble that contained the mechanical bird was brought back by the small bubble.

The mechanical bird was clearly not done playing yet. Its eyes weren't even on them. It was attracted by a huge giant clam shell in the reef. While looking at it, it flew over to Wen Ying's side.

“It seems very reluctant to leave here.” Wen Ying looked at Qin Shu, her words carrying a hidden meaning.

Perhaps because their fishtails were still intertwined, he was unusually honest, both in his words and in his heart: "Yes, me too." He paused, "I want to spend more time with you."

Qin Shu himself seemed unaware that his seemingly pleading words sounded no different from her coquettishness.

Wen Ying chose to grant his request. They had come in a hurry and hadn't equipped any compression devices to store the gifts. She looked at their bulging pockets and suggested, "I'll send these things back first. We'll stay in this world and go for a stroll on land when the snow stops."

Qin Shu responded with "Okay".

He took out those gifts and piled them together with the ones Wen Ying had taken out of her pocket.

Wen Ying instructed the mechanical bird to crawl into her pocket. She raised her finger, and a narrow crack appeared in front of her. Qin Shu stuffed the gifts into it one by one.

Suddenly, the two shells of the giant clam closed rapidly, and the seawater inside was squeezed, forming a stream of water.

Wen Ying was surprised to find that the mechanical bird, once again driven by its curiosity, approached the space between the two seashells, where the bubble containing it was being pushed by the water flow.

Completely unaware of the impending disaster, it was still excitedly cooing as it tumbled into the crevice like a rollercoaster.

Wen Ying tried to reach out and grab it, but it was too late.

She immediately contacted the system to ask if the mechanical bird had safely returned home. The system scanned the area and reported: "No, but I did see a lot of coral stones and a huge turtle shell! Vivian will definitely love this!"

Ruined.

Wen Ying felt as if struck by lightning.

When she was delivering the gifts, she had planned out specific destinations for them in her mind, but the mechanical bird falling in was completely unexpected, and she had no idea where it would end up.

We have no choice but to get ashore first.

Back on land, the snow had stopped, but Wen Ying had no interest in appreciating it, as she and Qin Shu were busy searching for the mechanical bird.

She closed her eyes and focused her senses, discovering that the mechanical bird seemed to be near one of the tunnels she had created, a tunnel that was far from where they were now and located in fresh water.

Qin Shu felt extremely guilty. Before he could apologize, Wen Ying shook his arm and said first, "It's not your fault. I made the gap too small."

Furthermore, the mechanical bird itself is also responsible for this accident. Once it is found, Wen Ying will definitely give it a safety lesson.

However, when they arrived at the passage, it was completely empty, without even a feather in sight.

Wen Ying sensed the surrounding waters again, and the mechanical bird was still not underwater.

“Perhaps it doesn’t exist in this era. It fell into another year of this time and space through the crack you opened.” Qin Shu suddenly spoke after a long silence.

“That makes sense!” Wen Ying nodded. She was so concerned that she hadn’t considered this possibility for a moment.

She immediately grabbed Qin Shu's hand: "Then let's look in other years."

She was about to open the space-time rift, but then stopped. She reached out with her other hand and tightly grasped Qin Shu's hand with both of them, looking worried: "You must hold my hand tightly."

Qin Shu's expression softened, and he grasped her hand in return: "Yes, I won't let go."
