Quick Transmigration: Let Me Tell You, I'm a Social Anxiety Person
Chapter 479 The Animal Keeper Continues to Fight (4)
Jiang Yu Sui: "That villa was prepared specifically for you; only you are allowed to enter and exit it."
"But I brought the mechanical bird in a few times later," Wen Ying said, adding that there were also special machines for doing housework in the villa.
“The mechanical bird was able to enter because of your invitation,” Jiang Yusui said calmly. “You are the sole owner of the villa, and Qin Shu and I have an agreement that I cannot enter the villa without your permission.”
"..." Upon suddenly hearing Qin Shu's name from his mouth, Wen Ying stopped eating.
Jiang Yusui looked at her, while Wen Ying bit the tip of her chopsticks, puzzled: "You two had this kind of agreement?"
He remained calm and nodded.
"What about the furniture?" she asked again after taking a couple of bites of her meal. "There's so much furniture in the villa. Were they all put in the rooms from the beginning?"
Jiang Yusui continued to serve her food: "The furniture was purchased in batches. I chose half, and he chose the other half. There is a fixed time for each furniture purchase, and exceeding the time frame is considered a breach of contract."
He said calmly, "You can't break the contract, you can't choose furniture that's completely different from the style of the whole villa just because you're trying to keep up with the Joneses, and you absolutely can't throw out the furniture that the other party has chosen."
Wen Ying was reminded of that saying: behind every seemingly strange rule lies an even more incredible backstory...
“Hmm.” Jiang Yusui explained very frankly, “But I did that at first simply because the things he chose were too dull. Living in a dull environment for a long time is not good for the healthy development of the mind.”
"Okay." Wen Ying touched her cheek. She didn't know what to say, so she just ate in silence.
There was a two-minute silence.
“You can mention him in front of me, think about him,” Jiang Yusui’s voice broke the silence in the room.
Wen Ying looked up, and Jiang Yu Sui's gaze fell on the small flower on her wrist. Similarly, the black pendant returned to her neck: "There is no need to feel any psychological burden, nor is there a need to forcibly control your thoughts."
She pursed her lips, but before she could open her mouth, Jiang Yusui understood everything she was thinking and said, "I do get jealous, but more than that, I don't want you to suppress yourself in front of me. Your feelings and thoughts are the most important."
Wen Ying looked at the food in front of her, and after a few seconds looked at him again. Jiang Yusui still met her gaze gently.
"I don't know how to say it..." she said with difficulty, feeling her heart in turmoil. "It seems I can't see you as the same person, but seeing you as two completely unrelated people also feels like..."
Jiang Yusui suddenly curled his lips into a smile.
He lifted her cheeks and placed a kiss on her forehead: "Don't be afraid, and don't blame yourself. You don't need to make any choices. As long as you allow it, I will stay by your side. You will always be my darling."
Those amber eyes were as devout and steadfast as ever. Wen Ying reached out and hugged his waist tightly, hiding her moist eyes in his embrace amidst the mechanical bird's puzzled "cooing" sounds.
Jiang Yusui gently stroked the back of her head to comfort her. The mechanical bird's "cooing" sound turned into worry. Even after hearing Wen Ying say "I'm fine," it still turned its head 180 degrees, trying to observe her through the gap in Jiang Yusui's arm.
"I'm really fine." Wen Ying peeked out and tidied her slightly messy hair, speaking vaguely, "You should eat quickly, we're going out for some fresh air later."
The mechanical bird looked at her with an expression that seemed to say, "Are you out of your mind?", but it didn't peck at her. Instead, it lowered its head and continued playing with the millet grains one by one.
After finishing their meal, Wen Ying kept her promise and took the mechanical bird out for a walk.
Jiang and Sui were together. He was in a new body now, without ears or a tail. However, to avoid any unnecessary trouble, he maintained the same posture he had when picking Wen Ying up from school, holding her hand and putting both of their hands into Wen Ying's pockets.
After returning home, Wen Ying invited him to go to the villa in the back.
The housekeeping robot stood at the door to greet them, saying to Wen Ying, "Welcome, master."
Wen Ying nodded politely to the other party, took a shower, and when she came out of the bathroom, Jiang Yusui had already turned off all the housework machines in the entire villa and personally helped her dry her wet hair.
The scene was exactly as expected, and Wen Ying wasn't surprised at all. She reached into her pocket and remembered a new question.
"I put it in the safe on the first floor for you." Jiang Yusui answered before she could ask. He was referring to the two notes Qin Shu had written. They had originally been in Wen Ying's pocket, but he had taken them out before washing her clothes.
Wen Ying looked up and said "thank you," then thought of another question.
This time, Jiang Yusui remained silent, waiting for her to speak on her own.
"I love you, Jiang Yusui." She took his hand and said earnestly, "I love you so much."
Jiang Yusui smiled, and Wen Ying turned to face him, kissing his chin.
Jiang Yusui was stunned for a moment, a look of surprise flashing in his beautiful eyes. After he came to his senses, he leaned down and hugged her, but did nothing else. He simply buried his face in her neck as before, rubbing against her affectionately.
The room was quiet, with only the sound of breathing.
Suddenly, a loud ringing sound rang out.
The mechanical bird knocked on the door from outside. Wen Ying went over, and it took the quantum computer that she had taken off and placed outside.
Wen Sirang called her.
Before Wen Ying could even press the call button, that familiar, irritating face popped up and greeted her: "Good evening."
Wen Ying stared at him without saying a word. Wen Sirang had disappeared somewhere; his hair looked like it had been bombarded, and he wasn't dressed as well anymore, his clothes were dusty and grimy.
"Tsk, why aren't you saying anything? Weren't you cursing me so fiercely when you left the message?" Wen Sirang's tone was smug, but his attitude changed quickly. Seeing her frown, he quickly surrendered. "I'm sorry, I admit I was wrong. I haven't helped you walk your bird for the past two weeks. How about this, whenever it's convenient for you, I'll have the best doctor come to your bird friend's house to perform nearsightedness surgery."
"..." Wen Ying was speechless for a moment. This person was always talking nonsense. "Where did you go?"
"The front lines, huh?" Wen Sirang said the words casually, even extending an invitation to her, "You're back now, have you finished dealing with everything? Come over and take a look when you have time?"
“Why would I go to inspect? I’m just an ordinary college student,” Wen Ying said, pausing for a moment. “Besides, I’ve never studied warfare.”
Wen Sirang still had that smiling expression: "There's no need to learn how to fight; it's very safe here."
