It has to be said that the Su family's chef is truly superb. Little Fatty has already run far away, but the aroma of braised pork knuckle is still faintly wafting after him.

Xiao Pang angrily pulled out his phone to call Dun Chenyu, but the phone rang from behind him.

Little Fatty turned around and saw Dun Chenyu following behind him, carrying a large plate of various meats, including a large piece of pork knuckle with skin and meat still attached.

His first reaction wasn't to ask why Dun Chenyu had appeared behind him like a ghost, but rather to swallow hard and humbly ask, "Brother Xiaoyu, how do you manage to eat so much and still stay so slim?"

His intuition told him that Xiaoyu wouldn't do something like sneaking around with a plate of meat behind someone.

“You could eat like this even if you ran 10,000 meters a day and did Tai Chi for half an hour,” Dun Chenyu said, her little mouth puffed out like a steamed bun.

"Never mind then, I'll just enjoy the view," Little Fatty said, his eyes fixed on the white pork knuckle on Dun Chenyu's plate. He then picked up a piece of white cantaloupe and stuffed it into his mouth.

"When did you arrive? Where's Tianyi?" Dun Chenyu asked.

"I just arrived. Tianyi was called away for a social engagement. I was just about to come find you," Little Fatty crunched on another piece of fresh radish.

"Oh, let's eat quickly then. After we finish eating, I'll take you to see Yiyi. We're with Auntie San and the others." Dun Chenyu's eating speed noticeably increased again.

"Uncle Gong," the middle-aged man who greeted Tianyi was the second-in-command Gong Que, whom Susan had mentioned.

"Tianyi, come here, do you know your Uncle Li?" Gong Que raised his chin at the middle-aged man in the middle, who had bright eyes, dark skin, and a big smile.

“Uncle Li?” Qiao Tianyi looked at his father: “Dad, did you tell me about that Uncle Li in Beijing?”

“Yes, it’s Uncle Li. You can just call him Uncle,” Qiao Zijun said with a smile.

"Hello, Uncle. My dad has told me about you many times. I've always wanted to learn from you in person, but my dad says you're too busy with official duties to play with us kids," Qiao Tianyi said with a very formal smile to the dark-faced middle-aged man.

"Haha," Li Da laughed, extending his hand to Qiao Tianyi: "Tianyi, hello."

He turned to Qiao Zijun and smiled, "Third brother, I've heard several classmates say that you've given birth to a bookworm. I say they're all blind. I think your son is exactly like you except for being prettier, and he's much more insightful than you."

"Heh, boss, you're talking nonsense. What's wrong with your brother?" Qiao Zijun was actually quite relaxed and joked in front of his older brother. At least Qiao Tianyi had never seen him speak to anyone like this before.

"Haha, you're not bad either, but you're forced into this situation by life. If you were born into an environment like Tianyi, you might not be as insightful as this kid," the middle-aged man laughed. "Don't you think so, second brother?"

"What else is there to say? Big brother, I'm not bragging, but I've always noticed that Tianyi is different from other kids. I arranged a marriage between him and the third brother back then," Gong Que said with a regretful expression. "Unfortunately, my silly Mingzhu didn't inherit my good eye. Qiao Tianyi chuckled coldly, "I should thank your girl for not being interested."

"Now someone else has benefited. Is that little girl you're with your girlfriend, Tianyi?" Gong Que asked with a smile.

"He's my sister's friend," Qiao Tianyi said awkwardly. He really wanted to admit it openly, but the fact that Xiao Pang was a high school student made him feel a little guilty.

"Haha," all three laughed. They were all experienced people, so how could they not see this youthful sentiment?

"I heard from your dad that you might be going to Peking University to pursue a master's degree in the second half of the year?" Li Da asked.

"Yes, I've passed the preliminary test, so the second test shouldn't be a problem," Qiao Tianyi said modestly, unlike her usual tone with Xiao Pang.

“Haha, that’s great! My little sister is studying at Peking University. You two can look after each other. You can call me if you need anything,” Li Da said.

(PS: I'll plant two female supporting characters first. Whether they're useful or not, and what their purpose is, I haven't decided yet whether they're good or bad. I'll let the situation unfold as it comes.)
