From Godhood to the Heavens

Chapter 155 Dragon and the Law of Wishes

Immediately afterwards, Fang Ping moved even faster, and before long, he had collected all six Dragon Balls scattered around the world.

Whether buried deep in the earth, deep in the sea, in a private treasure vault, or in Master Roshi's storage room, Fang Ping obtained them all with ease.

The whole process was as easy as taking something out of a bag; it has to be said, this was a really good opportunity.

Fang Ping's arrival occurred before the start of the story. If it were a timeline ten or twenty years later, it would be an extremely difficult situation.

Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3, Super Saiyan God, Beerus the God of Destruction, Whis the Angel, and a whole bunch of other incredibly powerful guys—trying to get the Dragon Balls from them is simply... impossible.

After thinking for a moment, Fang Ping shook his head, then swaggered off with the six Dragon Balls, turning around and flying towards the Temple of the Gods.

Not long after, below Korin Tower, watching Goku wearily holding Korin Tower, his tail wrapped around it like a rope, Fang Ping smiled.

This little guy is so innocent. Compared to the monkeys I encountered, he was much more admirable.

Slowly floating to Sun Wukong's front, seeing Sun Wukong panting heavily, Fang Ping reached out and took out a magic bean, stuffing it into Sun Wukong's mouth.

Sun Wukong, who had been sleeping soundly from exhaustion, suddenly opened his eyes and began crunching on Senzu Beans.

A moment later, he was full of energy again and excitedly said, "Big brother, you're here!"

The next moment, his gaze fell upon the six Dragon Balls floating behind Fang Ping, and he exclaimed in surprise, "So many Grandpas!"

But in an instant, Sun Wukong came to his senses and said, "No, the stars inside are different!"

"These are Dragon Balls. There are seven in total. Once you collect them all, your wish can be granted. The one your grandfather left behind is a four-star Dragon Ball. Big brother would like to borrow it for a bit, is that alright?"

Fang Ping smiled and looked at Little Wukong, speaking calmly.

"Oh, I see!" Little Goku nodded, looking a little confused, and then said, "Of course, no problem. Big brother, remember to return it to me after you're done using it!"

Fang Ping smiled and then said, "Of course, Little Wukong, what is your wish?"

Sun Wukong thought for a moment, then asked with an innocent look, "What is your wish?"

Fang Ping was stunned. He thought that Little Wukong would at least say that he wanted to see his grandfather or something, but he didn't expect that the child would not react at all.

So he began, "A wish is what you want to do? What do you want?"

Little Wukong frowned and thought for a long time, then finally shook his head and said, "I can't remember!"

With a sigh, Fang Ping didn't know whether to call it heartless or childlike innocence, so he could only say, "Alright then, you should focus on climbing the tower and learning kung fu from the Cat Sage!"

Sun Wukong nodded, using his tail to support his body, his legs firmly hugging Korinta, and holding out a four-star item with both hands. He then said, "For your big brother."

Fang Ping reached out and took it, nodded, and flew into the sky. Sun Wukong shouted from below, "Big brother, remember to bring Grandpa back!"

Fang Ping smirked, his voice reaching Sun Wukong's ears: "I will!"

Upon hearing the reply, Sun Wukong no longer hesitated, fully regained his energy, and continued climbing the tower as if he had inexhaustible energy.

Fang Ping appeared in the Heavenly God Palace in the blink of an eye, standing before the Heavenly God.

Looking at the seven Dragon Balls before him, Kami couldn't help but marvel, exclaiming, "Your speed in collecting the Dragon Balls is probably the fastest ever!"

Fang Ping smiled but didn't respond. Instead, he said, "Then, may I use this esteemed place to make a wish?"

The deity hesitated for a moment before asking, "Since your power is so great, may I ask what your wish is?"

Looking at the god's troubled face, Fang Ping said, "I want to learn the ability to teleport, to travel through the universe. Otherwise, long journeys are just too much of a waste of time!"

The god, unaware of the lie, slowly exhaled, feeling relieved that it wasn't some evil wish.

So he said, "Then please make yourself at home!"

As he spoke, he stretched out his hands and summoned the dragon.

In the blink of an eye, as if the stars had shifted, the world turned into darkness. The Dragon Balls shone with a dazzling light, connected together, and suddenly shot into the sky. A huge, dark green figure coiled around them, staring down with blood-red eyes.

"Tell me your wish, and I can grant you any wish!"

The dragon's arrogant voice rang out, but when it looked down, its tone instantly became humble.

"My Lord, I am so sorry, I did not detect your presence!"

The celestial being took a step back and then said, "Divine Dragon, this lord has come to you. Please grant his wish!"

The moment the divine dragon appeared, the Nuwa Stone on Fang Ping's chest shone with dazzling light, as if rushing into his mind, and his gaze was fixed on the divine dragon.

Those deep, penetrating eyes sent chills down the dragon's spine, as if the dragon had been seen through. Sensing that terrifying aura, the dragon couldn't help but coil up and respectfully speak.

"My lord, please state your wish!"

Fang Ping remained silent. His gaze, however, was fixed on the divine dragon, as if laws flowed within his eyes, as if he could see the rules themselves.

He has reached the peak of the Dao Integration stage and can step into the Immortal Realm at any time. The next step is to come into contact with the laws, integrate with the laws, and control the laws.

The transformation from human to immortal is a step towards the laws of nature, and at this moment, through the body of the divine dragon, he vaguely saw the aggregate of the laws of wishes.

Fang Ping had a feeling that if he could comprehend this power of law, he could accomplish all sorts of incredible things without needing a divine dragon.

Wishes, transactions, the cost of transactions, are borne by time; a year is spent accumulating strength, and the opportunity to make a wish is regained.

Unfortunately, the root cause is not the dragon in front of us; perhaps it is because the dragon is too weak.

If it were the dragon from Namek, Fang Ping might be able to see more. Of course, if it were the original super dragon, Fang Ping might be able to truly understand the Law of Wishes.

Seeing that Fang Ping remained silent, and the atmosphere grew increasingly oppressive, and that gaze seemed to pierce through his flesh and bones, the dragon finally couldn't help but tremble, almost collapsing and turning into a stone ball that flew away.
