As dawn broke, rustling sounds could be heard outside; it was time for breakfast.

Three meals a day are especially important, and no one wants to miss them, so in no time, the commotion grew louder and louder.

Lu Zheng and his group were preoccupied with their own thoughts, so they only sent people to bring food into the tent and did not get involved.

After they had eaten and drunk their fill, the show began. Suddenly, a commotion came from outside the tent, signaling them to attend a meeting.

Upon hearing the message, Lu Zheng and the others immediately understood what was going on. They exchanged glances and headed outside.

It must have been planned beforehand, because when Lu Zheng arrived with his men, the main tent was already full of people, and they were the only ones missing.

Noticing this, Lu Zheng paused for a moment before saying, "I thought there was still plenty of time, but I didn't expect to be the last one to arrive. I'm so sorry."

Hearing this, the people in the main tent, each with their own thoughts, exchanged glances. The leader then stepped forward and replied, "It's probably because you've been too busy. It's normal that you haven't been able to attend to it for a while. There's no need to feel guilty."

Upon hearing this, Lu Zheng immediately withdrew the apologetic look from his face and stared at the person in front of him with a serious expression, saying, "What do you mean by this? Explain yourself."

Seeing Lu Zheng's anxiety, the person who had spoken earlier stopped trying to hide his meaning and said pointedly, "You know what I mean."

"What do you mean, 'clear'? I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about," Lu Zheng said, frowning.

Seeing Lu Zheng's reaction, the leader stopped trying to hide anything and said directly, "We suspect there's an inside man in the team, which is why the information leaked and the operation has been failing all along."

As soon as these words were spoken, Lu Zheng understood their meaning. He angrily questioned, "So you think I'm the mole? You suspect me?"

Lu Zheng's tone was filled with shock, as if he couldn't believe he would be the one suspected.

Everyone present saw Lu Zheng's reaction, but no one dared to utter a word at this moment; they only cared about their own interests.

"Why can't we suspect you? You vehemently opposed the refugee siege, but the plan failed shortly afterward. You must have been the one who sabotaged it." The leader said confidently, clearly trying to pin the blame on Lu Zheng.

Upon hearing those words, a strange emotion flashed across Lu Zheng's eyes, but he quickly concealed it and questioned, "What evidence do you have to prove that the person was me? What would you say if I said I suspected you?"

Lu Zheng's words silenced the room for a moment. Everyone looked at each other, and no one dared to speak.

Seeing this, the man who had spoken earlier couldn't help but say, "Nonsense! You were clearly the one who acted as an inside agent, yet you still have the audacity to implicate me. If you're so capable, let us search your tent. If you can prove your innocence, then we'll let it go."

This didn't sound right at all, and what's more, Lu Zheng could see the malice in that person's eyes. If he really let him search, he would create evidence even if there was none.

Without the slightest hesitation, Lu Zheng firmly objected, "No, where do you place me? How can you search me like this?"

Lu Zheng's reaction was exactly what everyone wanted. The originally peaceful scene became tense because of Lu Zheng's words. The man who had just spoken was waiting for Lu Zheng to object, and now he questioned him righteously: "It seems that you have something to hide, otherwise why would you not want us to be inspected?"

Upon hearing this, Lu Zheng snorted coldly and said, "It's not that I'm unwilling, but I'm afraid of being accused of some unfounded crimes."
