Lianxue was a little confused because she had just woken up and hadn't figured out what was going on.

Bai put down her work and came over. "The child is awake. Here, have some water first." She poured some water from the kettle and handed it to Lianxue.

"Glug~ glug," Lian Xue finished the water in two gulps. "Thank you, can you tell me where this is?"

Bai looked at Lianxue with a loving expression and said, "This is Fengyu Town, and you are currently in our Xiahe Village."

Qingshu replied, "My surname is Bai, and my name is Bai Qingshu. Bai means daytime, Qing means clear sky, and Shu means virtuous woman."

"This is my mother, everyone calls her Bai Shi."

Mrs. Bai said, "Child, if you'd like, just call me Aunt Bai."

"Yes, Aunt Bai, Sister Qingshu, thank you," Lianxue said sweetly.

Lianxue thought for a moment and then said, "By the way, you can call me Lianxue, Lian as in lotus and Xue as in snow."

"That older sister is Li Zhenzhen, Li as in 'precious' and Zhen as in 'cherish'." Because she remembered Xia Lan's mockery, "You think you're precious Zhen? Humph, you should be called 'cheap and mean'." The two even had a fight because of this, but it was just a minor squabble.
