My wife is amazing.

Chapter 39 Blood debt must be paid with blood

He Suye closed the door and stared coldly at the bowl of mung bean porridge in her hand. She knew very well that this must have been Yin Yafei's idea, and that the bowl of mung bean porridge was definitely not "clean".

However, Yin Yafei didn't have the guts to kill her; she probably just wanted to teach her a small lesson today.

An idea flashed through her mind, and she smiled faintly.

Two minutes later, He Suye knocked on the door of Yin Tibang's study.

Yin Jiangang hadn't fully recovered from the huge blow yet. When he saw He Suye, his expression wasn't good either. He asked in a deep voice, "What is it?"

He Suye raised her hand and said, "Grandpa, I noticed you didn't eat much tonight. Dingfei brought me a bowl of mung bean porridge, so I thought I'd bring it to you too."

Yin Tibang finally showed some relief.

"You're so sensible." Yin Tibang said, taking the bowl and drinking the mung bean porridge to the last drop.

Just as He Suye was about to make her retirement, the butler rushed up to report: "Chairman, something bad has happened! The Luo family is here."

"The Luo family? Which Luo family?"

"The Luo family from the Land Management Bureau!"

Yin Tibang remembered that his family had sent Roland to pay their respects today, but it seemed that he hadn't seen Roland since the latter part of the visit.

Yin Tibang had a gut feeling that something bad might have happened, and frowned as he asked, "What are they doing here?"

"I don't know the specifics, but they said... they said..."

The butler stammered, and Yin Tibang impatiently urged, "What exactly did you say?!"

The butler glanced at He Suye cautiously before finally saying, "They say they want Miss Ye to pay for her crimes in blood."

"What?!" Yin Tibang looked at He Suye in astonishment. "What happened? Did you offend the Luo family?"

He Suye looked completely innocent: "Grandpa, I've been busy all day. How could I have had time to offend the Luo family? Besides, I don't even know who the Luo family is."

“That’s true.” Yin Tibang said, waving his hand, “You go back to your room first, I’ll go downstairs and take a look.”

Yin Tibang took two steps and suddenly felt his head go heavy. If the butler hadn't caught him in time, he would have almost fallen.

However, Yin Tibang was a complete egoist and righteous man. The loss of two sons was nothing to him. As long as the Yin Group and his reputation remained, he could continue to hold on. This was one of the things that He Suye admired about him.

He Suye quietly watched Yin Tibang's retreating figure, her expression fading.

After going upstairs, she was about to return to her room when she suddenly noticed that the door to Yin Yafei's room across the hall was half open, and a corner of her skirt was falling out.

Looks like he's waiting to see a good show; what a naughty kid.

He Suye pretended not to see anything, opened the door and returned to her room. The stupid Yin Yafei was no threat; the real problem was the Luo family. The Luo family had come to settle scores with her, so she had to prepare in advance.

Before long, the sound of arguing came from the living room, prompting Yin Yafei and Yin Dingfei to open their bedroom doors at the same time.

"Sister, what happened?" Yin Dingfei asked.

"I don't know, it seems like we have some guests." Yin Yafei said, glancing at the closed door across the way, a sinister smile appearing in her eyes. The medicine should take effect in a little while.

Butler Jin hurried upstairs. Just as Yin Yafei was about to ask what had happened in the living room downstairs, Butler Jin ignored her and knocked on He Suye's door. Yin Yafei felt another wave of jealousy.

Why is it that even the servants treat He Suye with more care?

"coming"

He Suye opened the door, and Butler Jin hurriedly said, "Miss Ye, you must go downstairs right away, something terrible has happened!"

In contrast to the panic of Butler Jin, He Suye appeared very calm. She nodded and walked towards the stairwell.

Yin Yafei was curious and wanted to follow, but Butler Jin immediately stopped her: "Miss Feifei, if you have nothing else to do, it would be better if you stayed upstairs."

If Butler Jin hadn't said anything, Yin Yafei probably wouldn't have gone down. But after he said that, Yin Yafei glared at Butler Jin with dissatisfaction and said, "Why can He Suye go down but I can't? I'm going down anyway!"

Yin Yafei's unreasonable behavior gave Butler Jin a headache. Helpless, he had no choice but to take the two of them downstairs.

As soon as Yin Yafei came downstairs, she was so frightened by the horrific scene in front of her that she collapsed to the ground, unable to stand up even while holding onto the railing, her legs trembling uncontrollably.

In the middle of the living room, a bloodied man covered in scratches lay on a stretcher. His hands and feet were bound, yet he continued to struggle. His tattered clothes clung tightly to the dried blood, and the wounds were beginning to fester. The air was thick with the stench of blood and decay.

Even more terrifying, upon hearing footsteps on the stairs, the blood-soaked man suddenly opened his eyes, but his eyeballs were already gone, leaving only a pair of bloody holes.

His eyes were gouged out!

"Ugh—" Yin Yafei could no longer hold back and began to vomit violently while holding onto the stair railing.

Butler Jin gave Yin Yafei a look that was hard to describe. He had tried to stop her, but she hadn't listened.

Butler Jin glanced at He Suye again and saw that she was staring intently at the blood-soaked figure on the stretcher. He thought that He Suye was terrified. After all, she was a girl, and it was normal for her to be scared when she saw such a horrific sight.

Just as Butler Jin was about to say a few words of comfort to He Suye, he saw He Suye take a step and walk directly towards the blood-covered man.

As she got closer, she finally saw that Roland, who was now covered in blood, had bloodstains between his fingers; it seemed that he had scratched himself.

Before throwing him out into the street, the only two things she did were to carve a letter on Roland's body to let him know that girls are not easy to bully, and to hit him on the head with a stick.

The horrifying wounds on Roland's body, and those eyeballs, weren't inflicted by her; she wouldn't be foolish enough to break the law.

Who did it? Mo Yuan?

But he had no grudge against Roland, so there was no need for him to do such a thing. If it were for his own benefit, given his calculating nature and his meticulous nature in calculating every favor, he wouldn't have done it for her quietly.

Besides, this isn't helping her, it's harming her.

Roland wailed in agony, fearing he wouldn't make it through the night.

He Suye closed her eyes briefly, then exclaimed in a low voice, "This...this is actually a real person?"

It seemed as if she only realized then that it wasn't a mannequin.

She hid behind Yin Tibang in fear, her whole body trembling slightly.

But when she made a sound, the blood-soaked figure on the ground struggled even more violently, as if it recognized her voice.

"You are He Suye?"

A low, husky voice rang out, and a handsome young man stared at her with sharp eyes, as if he were looking at a dead person.

The man exuded a powerful aura, and the group of people behind him followed his lead without question. This man was definitely not someone to be trifled with.

"I'm."

He Suye met the other person's gaze, her calm eyes flashing with the same cold light.

Yin Tibang introduced, "This is Luo Shen, the eldest son of the Luo family, and the one on the ground... is his younger brother."

It turns out he's Roland's brother.
