Ahhhhh, high-altitude survival!

Lin Yue was overjoyed to have received so many things, most importantly, a stable source of white rice. She was so happy that she almost hummed a song while making the pastries, not to disturb the man and the mouse. Finally, after racking her brains, Lin Yue successfully made eight different kinds of pastries.

Chinese-style desserts include soft and sweet steamed rice cakes, delicate and fluffy pea flour cakes, rich and creamy rice puddings, and fragrant savory pork shumai; Western-style desserts are simpler, such as delicate pork floss cakes, fluffy and soft pork floss breads, layered towel rolls, and tender and juicy meat patties.

The pastries were already quite flavorful, and Lin Yue was generous with the ingredients, making them incredibly fragrant. The sleeping little mouse kept twitching its nose.

Because the ingredients used were relatively simple, most of the desserts produced increased health points. After finishing her work, Lin Yue packed some for herself that still tasted good when cooled, and left the rest in a dessert box for Jin Xuan.

"Squeak?" The little mouse got up, its round little eyes darting around, and stared straight at Jinxuan, as if asking her something.

Seeing this, Jinxuan found it somewhat amusing. She nodded slightly, a smile playing on her lips, and softly said, "Go ahead!"

Once granted permission, the little mouse immediately became excited. With lightning speed, it slid down from the armchair and plunged straight into a plate, where it began to eat heartily.

Meanwhile, Jinxuan reached out and gently picked up a piece of pea flour cake and put it in her mouth. As the delicate and sweet taste spread on her tongue, a gentle warmth flowed through her body, and a faint, almost imperceptible smile appeared in her eyes.

Meanwhile, after leaving the stone house, Lin Yue sped forward through the woods at an extremely fast pace.

The trees surrounding the stone house were so dense and lush that they formed a natural green barrier, making many places impassable. Fortunately, Lin Yue's defenses were now quite strong, so she wasn't too afraid of being scratched by the branches. She charged straight ahead in the direction she had come from, covering a considerable distance, until she finally spotted a relatively sparse patch of trees.
