Alex wondered if he had misheard. He looked at the Sword Saint with a bewildered expression.

"Teacher Yi, what did you say?"

"I said, let Anna spar with you, and you'll be convinced!"

Alex glanced down at Diana and burst out laughing.

"This little one is going to convince me? Teacher Yi, you're not kidding, are you?"

Even the knights around them laughed.

Diana glanced at the crowd mocking her and said angrily:

"What's so funny! Who are you looking down on!"

Diana walked to the center of the training field and waved to Alex.

"Come on, big guy, I'll make you admit defeat!"

Alex glanced at the Sword Saint and, seeing his calm expression, began to take him more seriously.

Alex took a large, heavy sword, which looked to weigh at least a hundred pounds. He swung the sword with one hand, pointing it directly at Diana.

"Little girl, are you sure you want to spar with me? I'm not responsible if you get hurt~"

Diana also drew a sword, stood with her hands folded over her chest, but the proportions of her height and the sword were somewhat comical.

"Stop with the threats, let's finish this quickly~ I need to go eat~"

Feeling offended, Alex swung his sword down at Diana with one hand, holding back some of his strength, after all, Diana was the disciple of the Sword Saint.

However, Diana simply turned slightly to the side, easily dodging the sword, and then raised her sword and swung it lightly.

Although Alex managed to dodge in time, a thin, long scratch appeared on his chest, from which a trickle of blood slowly oozed out after a few moments.

Diana felt confused, thinking that this big guy wasn't quite right in the head.

Alex's expression instantly turned serious. He gripped the greatsword with both hands, and then a flash of blue light appeared on his body, followed by a flash of white light. His aura changed instantly!

"The captain used a skill!"

"Captain Alex is getting serious!"

"Looks like it's about to end!"

Just as Alex was about to rush in and end the fight, his heart skipped a beat, and a single word flashed through his mind: 'Death!' His body was frantically warning him! It was as if taking another step would mean certain death!

Diana was already impatient. When she saw the blue light emanating from Alex's body, she took a breath and then swung her sword horizontally in front of Alex!

Suddenly, a burst of sword energy shot out from the tip of the sword, cutting a neat crack in the ground in front of Alex, and splitting the entire training ground in two!

Alex's pupils contracted instantly. 'Sword energy!'

The surroundings fell silent instantly, and someone made a trembling voice.

"What...what is that?"

"It seems to be the sword energy of the Sword Saint!"

"Why do I feel that it's even more terrifying than the Sword Saint's sword energy?"

Diana's languid voice rang out.

"Shall we continue our sparring?"

Then he swung his sword again, and a long crack was cut into the ground to Alex's left!

Diana sheathed her sword and then went to the Sword Saint's side.

The Sword Saint had a broad smile on his face.

"Very good, Anna, you did a great job! Using your ultimate move right from the start will intimidate these people!"

"But! In future battles against the enemy, it's best to save your trump cards for last. This will make the enemy wary and also allow you to catch them off guard!"

Diana nodded, seemingly understanding, but she still felt that going all in would solve the problem faster.

After the Sword Saint and Diana left, the group went to the training ground to take a look.

Someone squatted on the ground, touching the sword wound that was several inches deep, and couldn't help but sigh!

A person standing nearby scoffed.

At the west gate, inside a luxurious building, a somewhat effeminate man with long hair was savoring a glass of red wine.

A knight knocked on the door.

The knight entered, bowed respectfully, and recounted the news he had heard at the training grounds at the south gate.

The man swirled the red wine in his glass.

"I never expected that stubborn old man would actually take on a disciple, and a genius at that! Alex, that simpleton, was so scared he couldn't move, it's hilarious!"

"Keep a close eye on that Diana. Now get out of here."

The knight's expression remained unchanged despite the man's horrifying words.

"Yes!"

The knight bowed and took his leave.

When the man was alone in the room, he drank the red wine in his glass in one gulp, a trace of red wine sliding down his lips.

The man's lips curled into an exaggerated smile.

"So you're Diana!"

Inside the palace, Lana, having received the news, sat in front of her dressing table, combing her smooth golden hair and inserting a jeweled hairpin into it.

Lana looked at her radiant reflection in the mirror, then rubbed her face to soften her expression.

"Anna~ You've given me so many surprises~ I'm determined to win you over!"

Lana stepped out of the room and looked at a maid standing guard at the door.

"Have all the desserts I made been packed?"

The maid bowed.

"Your Highness, everything is ready!"

Lana entered the living room, opened the lid of one of the boxes, gently picked up a snow-white pastry, smelled it, and then slipped a rolled-up piece of paper hidden under her fingernail into the bottom before carefully putting the pastry back.

Lana closed the lid, picked up the box, and handed it to the maid.

"Please personally deliver this to Captain Claire and tell him to savor it slowly!"

The maid took the box and left.

Lana picked up another box and slowly walked out of the room.
