Traveling to Ancient Times: My Space Contains Weapons

Chapter 6 Punishing the Wicked Woman in the Clothing Shop

Chu Chen and Chu Dazhuang first went to the market and bought 200 jin of rice and half a mutton.

Interestingly, people in this era don't eat pork because pigs have a strong odor, and very few people raise pigs.

Chu Chen immediately understood the reason. When he was a child in the countryside, piglets would be castrated so that they could grow bigger.

It's probably because this technology wasn't yet mastered at that time.

After buying the food, Chu Chen took Chu Dazhuang to the clothing shop.

Although he had a lot of clothes in his shopping mall, they were all modern clothes, and if he wore them, he would be seen as an oddball.

"Gentlemen, would you like to buy clothes?" the shopkeeper greeted them warmly.

"Just browsing," Chu Chen said casually to the shopkeeper.

Just then, an untimely voice appeared in Chu Chen's ear.

"Shopkeeper, is it possible for even beggars to come into your shop and buy things?"

An ugly woman weighing over 200 pounds covered her nose and looked at Chu Chen and Chu Dazhuang.

Just like in modern times, there are people like this in ancient times.

Chu Chen ignored her and started picking out clothes on his own, while Chu Dazhuang walked out of the store looking embarrassed.

"Hey, you little beggar, can you even afford these clothes? You're just touching them," the woman persisted.

If her injuries hadn't healed, Chu Chen would have loved to slap her to the ground.

"Is this shop yours?" Chu Chen asked, looking up.

"Kid, you dare to talk back? I had my eye on this dress, but now that you've touched it, boss, I don't want it anymore," the woman said arrogantly.

I was thinking, let's see how you get past the boss.

The shop owner looked at Chu Chen with an embarrassed expression. This lady is a big customer, sir.

"Look at yourself! You're almost as fat as a ball. Can you even fit into these clothes? You can't afford a mirror and you don't even pee, yet you still look at yourself before going out."

"Hey, get away from me. You smell like the ocean. You haven't washed in days. The sewers haven't been unclogged in ages." Chu Chen looked at the woman with disgust.

"That's not good. Holding it in for too long can easily make you sick. Have you been feeling itchy down there these past few days? You should be worried about your venereal disease."

Chu Chen was acting like a shrew at this moment, even though they didn't really understand these new words.

But upon closer reflection, it becomes clear what Chu Chen was saying.

The woman blushed and pointed at Chu Chen, unable to utter a single word.

Chu Chen ignored her and instead spoke to the boss.

"Wrap up everything I just touched, but I don't want anything she touched; I'm afraid of getting infected."

The shopkeeper also took a deep look at the woman in front of him. Could it be true, as this young man said, that she really had venereal disease?

Oh no, she touched me quite a bit just now.

The shopkeeper, both worried and excited, helped Chu Chen wrap up the clothes. Chu Chen then selected several bolts of fabric before calling out to Chu Dazhuang outside the door.

"Second Uncle, come in and move some things. Hmm, you were right to have foresight. As soon as you saw this thing, you ran out beforehand. It seems you really know about venereal diseases."

Chu Dazhuang stared at Chu Chen in utter bewilderment, wondering what was going on.

Looking at the woman again, her face turned pale. She stopped arguing with Chu Chen, covered her face, and walked towards the clinic across the street.

Hmph, I'll show you what it means to be feared by gossip.

The shopkeeper stared intently as the woman hurriedly ran into the clinic across the street. Could it be...?

The few people who were just picking out clothes in the clothing store also hurriedly left, as if afraid that the air could be contagious.

"Young master, you are truly a divine physician descended to earth! You could diagnose that woman's illness at a glance," the shopkeeper said obsequiously as he stepped forward.

Chu Chen was completely dumbfounded. Could it be that the boss and that woman were having an affair? Was he really that sure?

He then chuckled and said, "Boss, I noticed your face is dark and your steps are unsteady. You must frequent brothels quite often. You'd better watch out."

After hearing Chu Chen's words, the shopkeeper became even more convinced that Chu Chen was indeed a reclusive divine doctor.

Lately, I've been feeling powerless; normally I can only last for about half an incense stick's time.

But in the last few days, it has become completely unable to stand up.

"Miracle doctor, you must save me!" The shopkeeper suddenly ran to Chu Chen's side and knelt down with a thud.

This action really startled Chu Chen.

In truth, Chu Chen had no medical skills whatsoever. The woman was emitting a strong odor, so she must have a gynecological problem.

This pot-bellied fat man was so unsteady on his feet that nine out of ten of him seemed weak.

"Oh, shopkeeper, there's no need for that. Your condition is medically known as 'juicing at the last minute'."

"No problem. Once I return to the mountain, I'll refine a elixir, and it will cure you completely," Chu Chen said with a smile.

What a joke! My own shopping mall has several large pharmacies, and they have a huge selection of health products for that purpose.

"Divine doctor, you can take these today, I won't charge you. Please, divine doctor, bestow upon me a miraculous elixir," the shopkeeper said excitedly.

Good heavens, this guy is obsessed with that stuff, he doesn't even care about money for clothes.

Well, I made a profit...

"Since you put it that way, I'll make some for you next time I come to the city, specifically to address your stubborn problem of not being able to squeeze juice at the last minute."

Without turning his head, he climbed onto the mule cart and headed towards the city gate.

Little did they know, several burly men had quietly followed behind the mule cart.

Once outside the city gate, Chu Dazhuang looked at Chu Chen with surprise and asked, "Nephew, what else did that white-bearded immortal teach you about medicine?"

It seems that public opinion can be a powerful force; the more it's said, the more likely it is to become true.

She gave him a few perfunctory replies, then turned her head away. If her second uncle continued to ask her questions, she would be exposed.

But when he turned around, he saw several furtive figures following the mule cart at a leisurely pace.

Chu Chen immediately became alert.

"Who could it be? A pawnshop owner, a woman, or a cloth shop owner?" Chu Chen wondered to himself.

This is troublesome. Although my second uncle has a military background, he has injured his leg and doesn't have much fighting ability.

And this body of mine is even more useless.

These people are very likely from the pawnshop, and they're after the silver. It seems the shopkeeper ultimately didn't trust him.

Chu Chen kept thinking of ways to deal with it, when suddenly a flash of inspiration struck him.

"Second Uncle, stop the car, I need to poop," Chu Chen shouted to Chu Dazhuang in front of him.

"Lazy people need to poop and pee all the time, even if they don't have to," Chu Dazhuang said, stopping the car and cursing.

Chu Chen ignored what he was saying and jogged all the way to the grove.

Seeing that no one was around, he slipped into the space.

I walked straight to the front of the police station.

"Don't let me down." After saying that, Chu Chen stepped into the door that he had never been to in his previous life.

They found a door with a sign that read "Equipment and Supplies Warehouse," and discovered that the door opened easily with a gentle push.

Could it be that someone opened the door just as I was traveling through time?

After repeated experiments, he found that at the moment he passed through, the objects in this space seemed to be in a state of stillness.

Chu Chen walked in with ease, and was pleasantly surprised to see the modern equipment inside, but then he became worried.

Which one should I choose? Automatic equipment is too shocking; if someone with ulterior motives sees it, it will cause a lot of trouble.

After thinking for a long time, Chu Chen took out a dagger and an electric baton.

For safety's sake, he also concealed a handgun on his person before leaving the space.

Then he slowly climbed onto the mule cart.

As the mule cart slowly moved forward, the people following behind gradually caught up.
