Rebirth of a Farmer's Dad
Chapter 60 Blind Date Conference
After thinking for a while, Wang Dana said to Luo Feng, "It seems we also need to hold an event to promote ourselves and make a name for ourselves."
Luo Feng agreed wholeheartedly. He nodded and said to Wang Dana, "I'll figure out a way to handle this. You go and make preparations now. I require that you be able to take immediate action once I give the order."
"No problem, watch me." Wang Dana said, making an OK sign, which he had learned from Luo Feng.
Luo Feng felt that organizing an event was a piece of cake for him. Since he ran a wedding planning company, Luo Feng easily thought of its related businesses, namely the countless matchmaking agencies that would later become a reality.
Luo Feng's wedding planning company isn't well-known right now, but he believes he can increase his visibility through a large-scale public matchmaking event.
Such a large-scale, open matchmaking event is something that people have never experienced before, but Luo Feng is certain that it will be welcomed by young people.
With these young people endorsing you, it's hard for your business not to thrive.
After all, those who get married are mostly young people. This isn't the future; the divorce rate isn't high, and people nowadays see marriage as a lifelong commitment.
Under such circumstances, people naturally hope to make their weddings more grand so that they will have no regrets and can stay with the one they love for life.
However, young people who are about to get married often lack their own opinions and tend to follow popular tastes.
In other words, Luo Feng only needs to improve the company's reputation and everything will be fine.
It's just a matchmaking event, nothing difficult. After choosing the venue, we'll publish the news in the county newspaper, and I'm sure a lot of young men and women will come out of curiosity.
Then give them another chance to interact, design some small games, and hold a small competition. I believe this will liven up the atmosphere of the whole event.
With competitions come prizes, and Luo Feng had already planned for that. He would randomly select one or two couples who were in a committed relationship and planning to get married.
Afterwards, a public wedding will be held for them so that people from all around can see the strength of their company.
For these people who haven't received much education, they are more focused on immediate, tangible benefits. No amount of eloquence can change their minds; simply presenting them with real, tangible rewards is far more effective.
As for the cost, Luo Feng had considered it. He could afford to hold one or two weddings. After all, you can't catch a wolf without risking your cub.
Without hesitation, Luo Feng decided to start preparing for the matchmaking event after participating in the police-organized activity.
As for the training of Biaozi and the other two, they've been training for half a month now. Luo Feng doesn't plan to interfere too much; he's already taught them everything he can, and the rest is up to them to practice on their own.
I'll talk to Wang Dana about it later and have the three of them practice at his house.
Although the preparations for the matchmaking event sound simple, it actually takes several days to complete.
With the police situation also a factor, Luo Feng felt that he probably wouldn't be able to go back anytime soon.
Left with no other choice, Luo Feng had to change his plans again. He'd let Biaozi and the others practice nearby; at worst, he'd just do a final check. If all else failed, he'd give them a crash course near the end of summer vacation. It was the only option, after all!
Although I've been so busy lately that I feel a bit dizzy, there's nothing I can do but grit my teeth and deal with it.
Thinking about this, Luo Feng felt a little envious of his daughter. At least the little girl didn't have so many worries; all she did every day was eat, sleep, and play.
"I don't want to grow up, because when I grow up, I will lose many friends." For some reason, Luo Feng hummed softly the song that would later become known as "I Don't Want to Grow Up."
After wandering around outside for a while, Luo Feng, feeling agitated, eventually returned to the shop.
There's been so much going on lately that Luo Feng is going to make a list of everything he needs to do in order to avoid making mistakes in the rush.
Thinking about it carefully, there aren't actually that many things I need to do, but each and every one of them is quite complicated, far from being as simple as it sounds.
In addition to the police activities, preparations for the matchmaking event, and training checks for Biaozi and his two companions, they also needed to find time to build good relationships with the leaders of the county high school, since they would be relying on them for their livelihood in the future.
Also, now that it's the height of summer, Luo Feng felt it was time to change the menu and launch new dishes.
With Tiger and his friends' current abilities, they are not up to the task, so they have no choice but to take matters into their own hands.
I wrote down everything I needed to do on a piece of paper, and then I thought of several rough solutions for each of the things on the paper.
By the time Luo Feng finished doing all that, night had already quietly fallen.
Strangely enough, Luo Feng had been complaining about his daughter's noise that morning and was thinking of moving to a quieter place. But in the afternoon, after pondering alone upstairs for so long, he hadn't heard his daughter making a sound at all.
I don't know if I was just lost in thought, or if Xiao Xinghua had finally learned to be considerate of her father.
However, Luo Feng wasn't too concerned about any of that right now. What he cared about was his stomach; he had unknowingly spent the entire afternoon upstairs. He had only eaten a quick bite at noon, and the aromas wafting from downstairs only made him feel even hungrier.
Without further ado, let's hurry downstairs and find something to eat first. As for his daughter, Luo Feng didn't see her upstairs; it seems she ran off to play. He'll find the little girl after dinner.
And so, Luo Feng ran downstairs like the wind, barged into the kitchen, filled himself a huge bowl with rice, and piled a bunch of vegetables on top of it.
Then, Luo Feng took his bowl and ran to a corner of the kitchen, where he squatted down and started shoveling food into his mouth without any regard for his image.
He looks like he's starving. You know, only truly hungry people don't care about their appearance.
The ancients said, "When the granaries are full, people know etiquette." This is not just an empty saying. You can't talk about etiquette and shame with someone who can't even get enough to eat and has trouble surviving; that's obviously unrealistic.
Luo Feng's actions today perfectly illustrate this point. He's still hungry; why worry about so much? Filling his stomach is the most important thing. As for other things, those are things to consider after he's eaten.
