The biggest conspiracy was probably that the main gods and others conspired to lure Yan Xi, who seemed to have a mental disability, to the Ye Luoli world, and then set up a game to put Yan Xi in the position of a player (after all, they couldn't intervene in the clearing of the Great Calamity).

But Yan Xi's personality... she's not crazy, but she's not rational either. And she hates scheming the most. She might cause trouble, but there's a 90% chance she'll quit.

So they set up another chess game centered around Yan Xi, and chose a "guide" to subtly lead Yan Xi to the position of a chess player—this person was Mo Ran.

The two spatial forces collided, and in just one second, both sides deviated from their intended paths. Just like the results of Mo Ran's countless simulations, they were teleported to the alley where the protagonists were gathered.

Sigrún has taught at the Iceland University of the Arts as a part-time lecturer since and was Dean of the Department of Fine Art from -. In – she held a research position at Reykjavík Art Museum focusing on the role of women in Icelandic art. She studied fine art at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts and at Pratt Institute, New York, and holds BA and MA degrees in art history and philosophy from the University of Iceland. Sigrún lives and works in Iceland.

Mo Ran only took action on her own initiative twice; the others were purely coincidental, with Mo Ran simply offering a few words of encouragement and then acting accordingly.
