Ye Luoli: The Charismatic Girl Leads the World to Darkness

Chapter 145, the final chapter (The End)

Four minutes seemed exceptionally long as people with different thoughts eagerly awaited them.

Archie's eyes lit up as he looked at the small world that had gotten a few meters closer, and even his usually vigilant mind relaxed a little.

But, it's not enough.

A pair of purplish-gray eyes were fixed on his figure, her fingers unconsciously curling up as she forcefully suppressed the urge to rush out and smash his head in, trying her best to restrain her aura.

An indescribable power of law coursed through her body, and a fragment of spatial law hovered between her brows, merging her with the aura of the surrounding spatial turbulence.

How can an assassin carry out an assassination without some spatial manipulation skills?

The cracks in the small world have become so numerous that it seems as if a touch would turn it into dust. The storm within has essentially taken shape and is even absorbing the surrounding spatial energy to strengthen itself.

Even from a great distance, one could sense the immense power of the explosion in this small world.

The men in black, who had been hiding ten miles away, retreated another ten miles.

If you ask them at this point whether God or life is more important, they will absolutely tell you life is more important without hesitation.

It's impossible to go forward; may you, Lord, have good fortune.

Rejep began wiping his dagger again, and several men in black also began wiping their long knives.

The others only thought they were going to kill those who were pushing the small world, and didn't connect it to themselves at all.

30, 31...49...59!

The second hand kept spinning, and when it pointed to the fifty-ninth mark, a sudden change occurred!

Achille's eyes gleamed, his vigilance dropping by 90% due to the impending victory. But unexpectedly, at this very moment, the anomaly in the small world suddenly stopped!

It stopped!

Just a second before the end of the great calamity, just a second before victory arrived, it stopped so mysteriously.

In that crumbling little world, a scorched wasteland, ruins everywhere, the evils of humanity and war were buried under the heavy snow.

Yan Jue and the others thought it was over and they could start to revive.

But no.

They calculated everything, but they overlooked one possible outcome—annihilation.

Everything will perish.

Their faces were pale as they looked up at the strange phenomenon in the sky. Their last thought was that it was a pity they couldn't save that person, but dying with her was not so bad.

Shi Xi and the others, who had been staying indoors, also came to the human world. In the last minute before the world was destroyed, they all looked up at the sky, and were unexpectedly calm.

Even Xin Ling just smiled, hugged Mandora, and said sorry to her.

No one knew what she was apologizing for. Mandora hugged her back and gently called her "sister."

Shi Xi chuckled lightly, "That's good, at least she didn't just stand by and watch us drive this world to its doom."

But their calm lasted only until the fifty-ninth second.

The power of time enveloped the entire world, and everything fell into a state of stillness, including the impending annihilation.

But Shi Xi and the others were still conscious. They turned their eyes and found a touch of red in the white snow.

It was a blinding red, a heartbreaking red.

A few fragmented images flashed through Shi Xi's mind. Her pupils contracted, and her composure, which had remained unchanged even in the face of a collapsing mountain, was finally shattered.

—In the end, she became the executioner who brought about her own demise.

The shattered images gradually merged with reality. Shi Xi closed her eyes; she still couldn't hold onto her…

Yan Xi stood in mid-air, with nine illusory red tails swaying behind her. She was so far away from everyone, yet they could see her clearly.

“Heh…” Yan Xi chuckled softly, a strange light flickering in her usually empty eyes.

She turned her head to look at the void, proactively disconnecting from Yin Yuan, and smiled brightly under his surprised gaze.

"Don't be so surprised, didn't you already guess that?"

"She was shaped by divine power, wore and consumed various heavenly and earthly treasures, and was nurtured by her divine soul for ten thousand years. It would be strange if she did not develop intelligence."

Yin Yuan's eyes darkened slightly. "I just didn't expect you wouldn't resent it."

“What is there to complain about? I feel sorry for her past suffering and know that her future is fraught with danger. It would be better for her to die here than to live such a miserable life.”

"If she survives, please give her my regards."

After saying this, Yan Xi didn't look at Yin Yuan again. She simply made a fox head seal in front of her chest, and her body began to disintegrate.

An endless stream of celestial power... no, divine power surged from her body, repairing this world on the verge of destruction.

……

At the same time, the instant the world's collapse stopped, a red figure darted out from the shadows, its soft, warm body clinging to Archie's tall frame. Simultaneously, five points of light surrounded Archie, and five uniquely shaped weapons formed a circular magic circle, instantly enveloping Archie and Yan Xi within it.

"Damn it!" Archie only had time to curse under his breath.

"Any last words? It's no use now." Yan Xi finished speaking in a very fast pace and immediately activated her self-destruction!

In the instant of self-destruction, those purplish-gray eyes dimmed, replaced by a pair of blood-red, ferocious eyes.

Those eyes were filled with disbelief and resentment, just like Achille's.

"Bitch!"

It let out a long howl, and the rest of its words were swallowed up by the violent shockwave!

The five weapons swayed violently in the shockwave, and within seconds, countless cracks appeared on their surfaces.

……

This self-destruction was as fast as lightning, violent and terrifying inside, yet within the small world it resembled a dazzling fireworks display, brilliant and captivating.

The dark clouds dispersed in an instant, as if to let the whole world witness the fireworks.

Yan Xi smiled gently, looking up at the dazzling fireworks, her eyes filled with a tenderness that seemed to solidify into reality.

She closed her eyes, laughing heartily, her figure gradually fading into the colors, leaving only a murmured laugh that no one could hear.

"Congratulations, you've gained your freedom."

……

Yan Xi, who was timing herself with a stopwatch, suddenly looked up at the sky and called out, "Wen Qian."

"Watch the fireworks."

At that moment, the dark clouds instantly dispersed, and the dazzling light of the fireworks reflected in her eyes, as if many shackles had been unlocked.

Her eyes crinkled as she laughed wildly yet silently, her form becoming ethereal in an instant, transforming into a semi-transparent soul.

She closed her eyes and listened intently to the crackling sounds. At that moment, she felt like a butterfly about to take flight, or a cloud, light and gentle.

"This fireworks display is called Freedom."

"I... am free!"
