Tenichi strode up to the village chief and slapped him across the face twice. The village chief stumbled and almost fell, looking at Tenichi with a serious expression.

Tianyi clenched his fist tightly; he was already very angry.

"Are you just going to collude with the devil to aid and abet evil?" Tianyi said angrily.

The village chief got up from the ground and spat out his teeth.

“The children have gone up the mountain to enjoy their lives, and you killed our mountain god. We haven’t even settled accounts with you yet, but you’ve come after me,” the village chief said, rubbing his face.

"Hehe, Mountain God," Tianyi said with a self-deprecating laugh.

"So this is what your mountain god looks like!"

"Yes, this is our mountain god. You killed our mountain god, how should you compensate us? Our descendants will never be able to enjoy the good life on the mountain again." The village chief looked at Tianyi with a mocking gaze and demanded compensation from him.

"Those children will never come back!"

"No, Grandpa Shui, I have to go," Tianyi politely declined Grandpa Shui's offer.

Tianyi arrived at the village entrance as the entire village watched him go. He hadn't gone far when he heard a voice behind him.

"I'm sorry, we were also at fault," Tianyi said, turning to look at the apologizing crowd with his signature smile.

Everyone watched Tianyi disappear before reluctantly turning to look at Master Shui.

"Everyone, go back to sleep!"

The group walked slowly home, for they had done so many wrong things that had caused their own child's body to be lost forever.

The wind flew in from afar and landed steadily on Tianyi's shoulder.

"Tianyi, you're injured!" Feng was shocked. After all, what kind of demon could injure Tianyi? Only the Upper Moon demon could do that.

"It's nothing serious, just hit by a rock," Tianyi said calmly.

"Who dares to throw stones at you? I'll avenge you!" Feng said excitedly.

"Feng doesn't need to go back. It was because I arrived too late that their child died." Tian took all the blame upon himself.

"Let's go back quickly! Your wound is still bleeding."

"Hmm," Tianyi nodded in agreement.

"My dear wife, why aren't you asleep yet?" Tianyi asked.

"There are quite a few patients today, I'm just about to go back to sleep," Shinobu Kocho answered truthfully.

Shinobu Kocho looked at Tenichi in shock. Tenichi's entire body was covered in wounds. "I told you to be careful. Why didn't you listen? Come with me for treatment right now."

Shinobu Kocho took Tenichi's hand and led him to the ward, where there were other patients.

"Greetings, Lord Dragon Pillar"

Tianyi nodded at him.

Shinobu pulled Tenichi to sit down and began applying medicine to him.

People around them started gossiping, "What's the relationship between Miss Shinobu and Lord Dragon Pillar?"

The person next to him patted his head. "Are you stupid? Can't you see? It's usually Aoi and the others who apply the medicine, while Shinobu usually performs surgery on the injured with the Flower Pillar."

Shinobu Kocho ignored the whispers of the others and looked at Tenichi's wound, then spoke to him.

"Why does your injury look like it was caused by a rock?"

"It was the villagers who smashed it," Tianyi answered truthfully.

Shinobu's smiling face slowly disappeared, turning into anger.

"What did you say?"

Tianyi slowly knelt on the ground and repeated it again.

"My dear wife, this injury was caused by the villagers."

Shinobu Kocho was extremely angry. Her husband had been hit by a rock and didn't even fight back. Just how stupid was he?

"Then why didn't you fight back? Were you just going to stand there and take a beating?"

“I…” Tianyi was speechless.

After all, he wasn't stupid; he could sense that Shinobu was very angry.

"Get up right now! Who told you to kneel?"

Tianyi obediently stood up.

Tianyi didn't say much, but stepped forward and hugged Shinobu, tears streaming down his face like a tap.
