In the Great Qin Dynasty, I, the Unruly Commander, begin by dual-cultivating with Yan Ling Ji.

Just as Ying Ziqing was about to walk into the Yu Yuan Cave, he suddenly looked up at the sky and saw an extremely subtle energy emanating into the distance. Ying Ziqing reached out and grabbed it, and the energy appeared in his palm the next second.

Upon seeing the Grand Elder arrive, the guard captain stepped forward, bowed, and said respectfully:

"Elder, what brings you to the Cave of Yu Yuan?"

"I will lead my new Venerable One from Yu Yuan into the cave," the Grand Elder said calmly.

Upon hearing this, the guard commander dared not be negligent.

Turning to the thirty Yu Yuan guards standing at the cave entrance, he gave the order:

"Stabilize the wind and fire, reverse the heavens and earth, activate the formation!"

At the command of the guard commander, the Yu Yuan guards clasped their hands together, forming a black hand seal, and launched it into the cave.

The guard commander also formed hand seals, and a black, human-faced magic seal was cast into the deep cave.

Looking at the abundant amount of Xuanjing in the stone walls, Ying Ziqing was already preparing to order people to mine the place clean and transform it into a forging base for Xuanjing arrows.

Ying Ziqing looked at the huge figure bound by chains in the center of the stone chamber, a look of shock flashing in her eyes.

"This is... a Qilin..."

Its body resembles a deer, but it is enormous, covered in crimson scales that protrude like those of a crocodile. Its limbs are thick and powerful, and its claws and teeth are as sharp as those of a jackal. On its long and thick neck is a huge and terrifying dragon head, and a pair of huge antlers flip backward, with crimson mane growing from its back.

The once incredibly powerful mythical beast, the Qilin, was now chained here, completely silent.

The elder standing to the side was already so frightened that he was leaning against the stone wall for support.

A glint of light flashed in Ying Ziqing's eyes as she looked at the extremely weakened divine beast, the Qilin.

He stepped forward and placed his palm on the massive dragon head of the Qilin.

The power of heaven and earth surged from his hands toward the head of the Qilin, and the Qilin's lifeless, enormous body suddenly trembled slightly.

Seeing this, Ying Ziqing increased the output of the power of heaven and earth. As long as the Qilin could awaken, then all his curiosity would be answered.

Suddenly, the Qilin's closed eyes snapped open, its crimson-gold pupils staring at Ying Ziqing, who had placed his palm on its head. The chains began to shake violently, and the Qilin swayed as it stood up.

Upon hearing this, Ying Ziqing understood. That day, Wu was a legendary divine beast that wielded a portion of the power of water, and was naturally opposed to the Qilin. No wonder the Qilin was suppressed here.

Presumably, the so-called God of Yuyuan is Tianwu.

These mysterious crystals in the cave were probably created from the primordial energy of heaven and earth that escaped from the Qilin's body.

Qilin looked at the silent Ying Ziqing and slowly spoke:

“You possess a power that makes even me tremble. If you are willing to help me break the seal, I am willing to bestow upon you the authority of the Flame.”
