Zhou Yu stared intently at Xu Xinran's fingers lingering on his shirt, his anger and resentment like magma beneath a volcano, ready to erupt at any moment.

But he knew that now was not the time for a head-on confrontation.

He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down, and then slowly said, "Okay, I'll change!"

Then she got out of the car and opened the door on Zhou Yu's side.

The two walked into a private high-end fashion boutique one after the other. The doorbell rang softly, and the shop assistant greeted them with a smile as soon as she saw Xu Xinran.

Xu Xinran turned slightly to the side, her red lips parted slightly, and her gaze fell on Zhou Yu.

"I'll pick out a suit for my husband that makes him look mature and composed."

Upon hearing this, the shop assistant immediately understood and turned to make a selection.

Zhou Yu looked helpless, muttering to himself: Why does he have to be mature and steady? He just wants to live a different life than he did in his previous one.

So when the shop assistant came over with four or five suits, Zhou Yu casually pointed to the most fancy one. But before he could speak, Xu Xinran beat him to it and pointed to the middle suit that looked simple but had a hidden sense of sophistication.

"That's it."

She spoke with absolute certainty, as if she had already seen through Zhou Yu's thoughts.

Zhou Yu felt frustrated. He clearly wanted to rebel, but this was exactly the kind of thing he liked best.

It felt like I'd suffered a loss I couldn't speak of, and I had to keep quiet about it.

"Okay, this one it is." He reluctantly agreed and turned to go into the dressing room.

Inside the dressing room, Zhou Yu wanted to quickly change into his suit to minimize the time he spent alone with Xu Xinran.

However, the zipper on his pants got stuck halfway through.

He was incredibly embarrassed, but not wanting to disturb the shop assistants outside, he could only bend over, lower his head, and struggle with the zipper.

"Damn it, it messed up at the crucial moment!" Zhou Yu cursed inwardly, but dared not stop what he was doing.

Just then, the curtain of the locker room was gently lifted, and Xu Xinran's voice came in.

"Zhou Yu, why haven't you changed yet?"

He growled through gritted teeth, "Get out! I can do it myself..."

"Are you sure?" Xu Xinran raised an eyebrow, her tone carrying an unquestionable air.

"If you could handle it yourself, you would have changed your clothes and come out already. My mom and the others are still waiting at the restaurant. Don't let this little thing delay you."

Upon hearing this, Zhou Yu was reluctant, but reason told him that now was not the time to act out of spite.

He gritted his teeth and finally let go of the zipper, but his eyes remained wary as he stared at Xu Xinran.

Seeing this, Xu Xinran smiled triumphantly. She stepped forward and deftly manipulated the zipper, quickly resolving Zhou Yu's predicament.

"Alright." Xu Xin then took a step back, her tone returning to its usual calm. "Go out and look in the mirror to see if it fits."
