Chapter 11 Be My Master!

As Su Yi pondered when he had ever seen this long-haired, hot girl in a white tank top and denim shorts, the boy rubbed his ear and said retaliatoryly, "Sis, stop pretending to be a lady. Everyone saw your violent side just now." He was immediately slapped on the head by the girl again…

"Don't you remember? You bought the T20 in our store, I remember it very clearly." Seeing the look of realization on Su Yi's face, the girl smiled and said, "Your name is Su Yi, right? My name is Ji Yanran, and this is my younger brother, Ji Feng. He is also here to take the college entrance examination."

Su Yi carefully examined the girl and finally connected her with the beautiful and gentle girl in the IBM store. He sighed inwardly: no matter how strong one's memory is, it will inevitably be defeated by a woman's ever-changing appearance. It wasn't surprising that she knew his name, since he had filled out the after-sales form when buying the laptop; he just hadn't expected her to remember it so clearly.

"Sis, he and I were in the same exam room." Ji Feng recognized Su Yi, but the reason he gave left Su Yi speechless: "After all, it's rare to find a man who's even a little bit more handsome than me."

Then, as if discovering a new continent, Ji Feng said, "Sis, you always blame me for dating too early. So many people are pursuing you and you don't even react. I used to secretly think you were a lesbian, but now I finally know, you're a shota-con, hahaha... Ah, you're at it again, ouch! The look you gave him just now was really lewd..."

Having finally broken free from Ji Yanran's clutches, Ji Feng ran to Su Yi's side, naturally put his arm around his shoulder, and whispered, "Dude, I need to ask you for a favor." Seeing Su Yi's puzzled expression, he continued, "Anyway, you're all alone, and you know my sister, so why don't you have lunch together? We've reserved seats at Yipin Congee up ahead."

"You damn Ji Feng, you still want to go play games?" Ji Yanran said angrily, automatically omitting the suggestion that she eat with Su Yi.

"Sis, let me play for a while, I promise it won't affect my exam this afternoon."

Looking at the amusing siblings in front of him, Su Yi suddenly felt a pang of envy. Seeing Ji Yanran's angry and helpless expression, he suddenly said, "I'll go play with you."

"What?" Ji Feng and Ji Yanran were both surprised.

"I'll go play CS with you, but we'll have to eat after a while," Su Yi said clearly.

With both of them saying the same thing, Ji Yanran felt powerless and a little resentful that Su Yi was supporting her younger brother. Meanwhile, Ji Feng was happily leading Su Yi into the internet cafe.

CS is short for Counter-Strike, a game that, although only recently introduced to Dongdu City, has already become a hit in internet cafes of all sizes. They found two computers and sat down, creating a map called de_aztec, also known as the suspension bridge map. Su Yi let Ji Feng choose his character.

Ji Feng realized that Su Yi wanted to fight him one-on-one, so he couldn't help but remind him, "Dude, I'm pretty good."

Since he was given the choice, Ji Feng didn't hesitate to choose the terrorists. This was a C4 map, and as the attacking side, the terrorists held the initiative.

In the first round, Ji Feng had just leaned down from the suspension bridge when a gunshot rang out, and he was headshot.

I felt like I'd overestimated myself, since the suspension bridge was the hardest route to attack. But that cool kid getting a headshot with a pistol was kind of interesting.

In the second round, Ji Feng decided to go through the wooden door, but as soon as he stepped through the door, another shot rang out, and he was shot in the head.

I'm a little frustrated, but Ji Feng didn't buy a long spear in the second round, so he can buy one in the third round.

In the third round, Ji Feng bought an AK47 and rushed underwater. But just as he reached the bottom of the suspension bridge, another shot rang out, a headshot.

Ji Feng was almost going crazy. This guy always gets headshots with a single shot. Is he really that accurate? I've never heard of him making cheat codes. Besides, he's right next to me, so I don't have a chance to use cheat codes.

Sensing Ji Feng looking over, Su Yi gave him a smile that drove him crazy, and continued.

In the fourth round, Ji Feng proceeded cautiously, not rushing in. He crouched in the corner by the wooden door for a minute before quietly entering, finding no one there. Then he stealthily rushed towards the minefield across the corridor, still no one there. "Damn, they've definitely gone to their own hideout," he thought, and began planting C4. Then, two scraping sounds of a knife, and on the third, everything turned red… He was slashed to death, the most humiliating way to die.

Ji Feng was on the verge of tears. He was a recognized expert among his classmates, but he had been thoroughly humiliated today.

"I'm not playing anymore," Ji Feng said dejectedly.

Su Yi smiled as he saw that his goal had finally been achieved. When he was playing games, Counter-Strike was just becoming popular. He had played a few times and could be considered fairly proficient. He was initially only slightly confident, but he discovered that the modification to his nervous system had made his skills almost freakish. His incredible reaction time allowed him to instinctively move the mouse over an enemy's head the instant they appeared; the rest was a foregone conclusion.

Ji Feng turned his head, seemingly re-evaluating Su Yi, and said something that left Su Yi speechless: "Sigh, so there are people in the world who are both more handsome than me and better at Counter-Strike than me..."

Ji Feng was sullen the whole way, but Ji Yanran kept smiling and pulled Su Yi to go eat with them. Her reasoning was sound: at this time, there really weren't any restaurants with empty tables nearby.

After sitting down at Yipin Congee and waiting for the food to be served, Ji Feng suddenly perked up and looked at Su Yi with the eager eyes of a lecherous man seeing a beautiful woman. Just as Su Yi was wondering about his behavior, the other man suddenly said something that left the other two dumbfounded: "Brother Su, be my master!"

"Master?" Su Yi was shocked by Ji Feng's unconventional idea.

“Brother Su? Xiao Feng, isn’t he a few months younger than you?” Ji Yanran was also a little unable to accept her younger brother’s whimsical idea.

"Sis~" Ji Feng teased, drawing out his voice, "How did you know he's a few months younger than me? You even know other people's birthdays? And you said you had no feelings for him..."

"I... I was just being responsible to the client. I happened to remember the information he filled out. Besides, your sister has always had a good memory," Ji Yanran immediately explained, but a hint of embarrassment could still be seen in her expression.

"No need to explain, explaining is just covering up. Even if it's true, as you say, that the accomplished are teachers, Brother Su may be younger than me, but he's way better than me at CS. Besides, he's a bit more handsome than me, so he can totally be my teacher. It's not shameful for a student to lose to their teacher, it's not shameful at all, haha." The two were speechless, it seemed that Ji Feng was completely immersed in his own mental world.

Seeing that the two did not react, Ji Feng became a little anxious: "Brother Su, you must promise me that I will work hard to improve my CS skills, of course, under your guidance. Don't worry, I won't embarrass you."

"Ayi, ignore him. Xiaofeng is just being irresponsible." Ji Yanran absolutely couldn't stand seeing her younger brother act so recklessly. She glared at his ear, the danger level rising sharply.

"Sis, I'm serious, please stop messing around. Brother Su, don't listen to my sister, women are so short-sighted, we can't argue with them. What do you say, Brother Su?" Ji Feng still looked at Su Yi eagerly, trying his best.

“But I still have to go to school, so I can’t teach you anything.” Su Yi used a retreat as a tactic to advance.

"It's okay, it's okay. Wherever you go to school, I'll go too. Anyway, Dad didn't expect me to get into university. He was already prepared to pay for me to go." Under Ji Yanran's disappointed look, Ji Feng still gave his reasons.

After thinking for a moment, Su Yi said, "That's not impossible, but you have to promise to listen to your sister from now on. Don't rush to agree. If you break the rules, I have ways to deal with you."

Hearing Su Yi say this, Ji Feng immediately replied, "Okay, okay, I promise. As long as my sister agrees to let me learn CS from you, I will listen to her from now on." Ji Feng was still cautious, so he made sure to say that he would learn CS first, so that his sister would have no reason to make trouble about it later.

Now that things had come to this, Ji Yanran had no better choice. If she really behaved well in the future as her younger brother said, it wouldn't be a bad idea to let him play CS. So she nodded in agreement.

Ji Feng laughed without any regard for his image. His long-held dream was to become a professional e-sports player like those in South Korea. He was also very talented in games and was one of the best in the school's gaming circle. You could say that he often felt like he was unbeatable in his school. Now that he could find such a skilled player to be his mentor, he was naturally extremely happy.

So everyone enjoyed the meal. As for Su Yi, he had his own considerations. Through their conversation, he gained a preliminary understanding of the two siblings. Their parents were busy with business and rarely had time for them. Ji Yanran was currently studying at Dongdu University and occasionally helped out at the family shop on weekends; the IBM store was one of their businesses. Ji Feng, on the other hand, was mostly cared for by his older sister. This was also the reason Ji Yanran stayed at Dongdu University; otherwise, with her grades, she could have easily gone to many better universities. However, because most of her time was spent on her studies, Ji Yanran couldn't always keep an eye on Ji Feng. Therefore, without much supervision, Ji Feng's energy for his studies was limited. The early romance, skipping classes, and playing games that Ji Yanran mentioned were all true. Ji Feng wasn't inherently bad; he was just passionate about games. Therefore, Ji Yanran wanted to guide him a little to prevent him from becoming addicted.
