Du Liangchen understood the admiration and heartache in Wang Lin's tone, and tried to give her a faint smile. He didn't want others to know about his situation, and he didn't want to say that he actually had a severe case of anorexia. This was a subconscious way of protecting himself.

To avoid ruining the atmosphere at the dinner table, Du Liangchen casually said, "There are a lot of things I can't eat. I need to strictly control my weight, otherwise it would be embarrassing if I couldn't jump high during the season."

Yao Xi thought she had misheard and asked, "Young Master Duo?" Her voice was so anxious that it was out of tune.

"Him!" Zhu Nanshu pointed at Du Liangchen: "The official weight updated this year is 55 kilograms, and his physique is in the single digits. Mei Jing only weighs 58 kilograms!"

Yao Xi stared at Du Liangchen with wide eyes as if she had seen a ghost, making him lose his appetite.

"Why does the food suddenly not taste good anymore?"

Wang Lin was only surprised for a moment when she heard this. Seeing Yao Xi's wilted look, she said hurtfully, "Don't worry, little sister, you've already finished your meal."

Wang Lin looked at Du Liangchen, who was eager to explain, and smiled to reassure him, "Don't be nervous! We already found out when we were eating. If you had put it on, you would have eaten it by now. I didn't expect your lip color to be a natural purplish-red. I ran into your makeup artist when we were eating and even secretly asked him for the lipstick shade."

Yao Xi: "Will we be playing five-man squads later?"

Wang Anyu: "I can!"

Du Liangchen said apologetically, "I have something to do and can't play five-player mode."

Zhu Nanshu: "I have a live stream to do so, so I can't queue. How about we each practice our own hero proficiency in our respective lanes?"

The five people parted ways at the apartment entrance and returned to their respective rooms.
