Du Liangchen twitched the corners of his mouth, revealing a smile that was more like a grimace. Even now, thinking about it still made his whole body ache. He felt it was a miracle that he hadn't died on it.

"It's all in the past, I don't want to bring it up again. The past can't be retrieved, let it be sealed away forever."

“My foul mouth…” Mei Jing immediately put down her phone, slapped her mouth, and glanced at Du Liangchen’s dejected look, trying to change the subject, “Baby, have you packed your luggage? School starts soon.”

"Not yet~" Du Liangchen saw that he had no appetite because of her, so she put a piece of green vegetable in his bowl. "You eat it, don't let me affect your appetite."

"How can I eat if you're not happy?" Mei Jing said guiltily.

Du Liangchen glanced around. The two of them weren't sitting in a corner, so he didn't dare to do anything too intimate. He could only secretly kick Mei Jing's foot.

"Actually, that incident wasn't entirely without its benefits; it made me see clearly who truly cares about me."

"I used to have so many people who called me brothers, but they all disappeared after the incident. Only you came to see me when I was in trouble, and I am very grateful to you."

Mei Jing looked at Du Liangchen with burning eyes. His heartfelt confession moved Mei Jing, and her heart pounded wildly.

He longed to hug him, his hands itching to reach out, but he knew the occasion was inappropriate and restrained himself. Instead, he used his legs to trap Du Liangchen's feet, encircling him in his own territory in this way, to tell him that he was always there.

After leaving the restaurant, the two wandered aimlessly down the street. Their red ears betrayed their restless hearts. Their heart-to-heart talk had brought them together, their hearts filled with happiness and joy, as if they were overflowing with sweetness.

With one day left before the show's recording, Du Liangchen, Mei Jing, and their accompanying staff arrived at the high-speed rail station and took the high-speed train to Yunnan.

The first recording location was at the Financial Plaza and Science Park in Yunchuan City. The journey took four hours.

Many people were waiting outside the station to take pictures of them. The two, heavily armed, entered the station smoothly under the escort of security guards.

"How are you, are you okay?"

Seeing that Du Liangchen hadn't said anything, Mei Jing was a little worried about his condition. There were so many people just now, hopefully he wasn't bumped into!

Du Liangchen, who was rummaging through his bag for water, blinked his large, exposed eyes in confusion. "Huh? It's okay, don't worry~"

"Don't worry, I will~" Du Liangchen patted his leg to comfort him.

With his other hand, he finally pulled out a water bottle from his backpack. It was a large cup of freshly brewed green tea from that morning, meant to refresh and invigorate him. He tried to open it twice but couldn't, and in pain, he shook his hand. When he opened it, he saw that his hand was rubbed red.

Mei Jing blinked with a pained look, reached out and took the cup from his hand, and twisted it open with a forceful twist.

"Drink up!" Mei Jing handed him the cup and said gently, "Grandpa Du tightened the lid on this cup for you again, didn't he? It's so tight."

Du Liangchen took a sip, his cheeks puffed out with water, and nodded. "Mmm! Grandpa is always afraid that the water in the cup will spill, so he always wrings it out really hard. Luckily you're here, otherwise I would have to buy water again."
