Figure Skating: Waltz on Ice

Upon arriving at the food area, everyone chose what they wanted to eat.

Du Liangchen picked up a piece of beef and chewed it.

Mei Jing also chose the same beef, and after finishing the small plate of beef, he was still slowly chewing.

Wearing gloves, I peeled the shrimp and put them in Du Liangchen's bowl. "Eat a few shrimp."

Du Liangchen nodded without refusing, but seeing that there were more and more shrimp in the bowl, he looked at Mei Jing, who was still peeling shrimp, with difficulty and said, "Sweetie~ don't give me any more, I can't finish them all!"

He placed the crab meat he had cut off in front of Du Liangchen and said, "There's not much meat, it won't take up much space, you have to finish it all!"

He knew that Du Liangchen liked to eat shellfish, but because peeling shells was too troublesome, and because he was a germaphobe and didn't like getting his nails dirty, he wouldn't touch them unless he really wanted to eat them.

Knowing that he had this problem, Mei Jing would peel his portion for him when she ate her own food, and over time this became a habit.

They usually have very high requirements for weight and even higher requirements for physical fitness. The two are among the tallest in men's figure skating, so the requirements for weight are even stricter. They must keep their weight below 60KG in order to complete high-difficulty figure skating jumps. Therefore, they are almost all model-like in physique.

Mei Jing is 182.8 cm tall and weighs 58 kg; while Du Liangchen is 182 cm tall and weighs only 53 kg.

This is also the main reason why they both achieved such good results; their jumps are higher and farther than those of foreign athletes.

Their height almost worried all the coaches. Genetic tests showed that their height would not exceed 180cm when they were young, but now they are not only over 180cm, but according to calculations, they are still growing.

To control their fat intake, they try to eat more beef and seafood to supplement their nutrition.

It was almost eight o'clock when the two finished their meal.

Du Liangchen received a message from his second brother, asking him: When are you coming back?

"Goodness, my family is urging me to go back!" Du Liangchen said, holding his phone up to his face.

Mei Jing said reluctantly, "Then I'll take you back now. Please tell them."

On the road, even though there was no traffic jam, Mei Jing drove very slowly. Bright streetlights stretched along the winding street, dispelling the darkness of the empty street. Songs from Du Liangchen's first album were playing in the car.

"But I'm curious, why would you write such a touching and poignant song? Is it because...?" He kept asking the question, but never actually asked it, causing his mood to plummet.

Du Liangchen, who was still waiting for him to say something, was left feeling awkward and uneasy because of his half-spoken words.
