Du Liangchen's eyes widened in surprise as his cold, trembling hand reached into his pocket and touched the gift box hidden there.

She took a bite of the candied hawthorn, carefully took out the item from the box, bent down and rolled up her left trouser leg, revealing a section of her fair and slender ankle, and tied the red string with a lucky charm engraved with a little rabbit to her foot.
