Figure Skating: Waltz on Ice

Before Mei Jing and Coach Jiang disembarked, they saw several people standing on the shore, seemingly waiting for them.

"Hello Teacher He, hello everyone!" Mei Jing waved to the shore. He recognized one of the people on the shore as the very experienced He Ling, but the other faces were unfamiliar to him.

Coach Jiang doesn't follow celebrities; like Mei Jing, he only recognizes He Ling. He smiled and waved, "Hello everyone, hello everyone!"

As the boat docked, Mei Jing disembarked first. Then, as the boat rocked slightly, Mei Jing reached out to help Zhang Weijun off the boat.

Next, Mei Jing carefully helped the staff members who were carrying equipment and had difficulty moving down the stairs. After all the staff members were down, Mei Jing carried her bag and walked over to Coach Jiang, who was talking to Teacher He and the others.

After being introduced, Mei Jing learned that the two men and two women in front of her were named Chen Qingqing, Wang Anyi, Li Xingshuo, and Xiang Zhiheng. Their names had prefixes, suggesting they were members of a boy band or girl group, and were here for publicity.

He Ling led everyone back, saying, "You must be tired from the journey. Let's talk again when we get back."

The group walked through the mountains, and no matter how beautiful the scenery was, they had no interest in looking at the plum blossoms.

He was surrounded by cameramen, and because there were so many celebrities, 80% of the footage recorded would be edited into the final film. He didn't want to cause any unnecessary trouble because of his actions.

The roof tiles shimmered dazzlingly in the sunlight, and Mei Jing immediately spotted the building that stood out from the other dark rooftops.

Mei Jing guessed that it was a temporary house set up by the production team, and the courtyard next to it should be the recording area.

"This is Coach Jiang and Mei Jing's first time here, so this is our yard." He Ling said, opening the fence gate. Looking at the little ducks enclosed by the fence, their yellow feathers still intact, they were very cute. There were also white and tender little lambs. A relaxed and vibrant atmosphere wafted over.

Perhaps hearing the noise, a small yellow dog ran out of the house and circled around He Ling.

Then a middle-aged man wearing a floral shirt and shorts came out of the house.

"Hey, Teacher He, you're back! That was quick."

"Teacher Hu, not only are we back, but we've also brought back some new guests!" He Ling put down her basket and smiled at the two people behind her. "Look who's here!"

Jiang Weijun shook hands with Hu Lei. "Teacher Hu, I am Jiang Weijun, and this is Mei Jing."

Mei Jing also stepped forward to greet him: "Hello, Teacher Hu."

"Hello, hello! Let's come inside and talk."

Hu Lei and He Ling led everyone into the house. After they sat down, Mei Jing looked around the living room. There were ink paintings on the walls, and the room was spacious enough that even with eight or nine people inside, they didn't feel crowded.

Inside, there were many potted plants on the windowsill, some of which were already in bloom, their pink blossoms very pretty. Through the window frames, you could see the courtyard outside.

An occasional breeze blows by, causing the curtains to sway gently and bringing a touch of coolness, making the atmosphere in the living room even more tranquil and elegant.

After chatting for a while, it was already past ten o'clock. Hu Lei prepared to make lunch. Chen Qingqing, Wang Anyi, Li Xingshuo, and Xiang Zhiheng would be finishing recording and leaving soon, so they should have a meal before leaving.

So the others, who weren't so oblivious as to just wait to be fed and drunk, all went out to help out and lend a hand.

Du Liangchen, who had finally managed to fall asleep, woke up groggily after only a short while, rubbing his aching stomach with his eyes still closed.

He rolled his eyes around but didn't open them. Frustrated, he rolled over, pressed his stomach, and the discomfort subsided.
