"So what about you?" Du Liangchen felt the weakness from lack of oxygen gradually disappear, and sat up teasingly, "What are you jealous of? Are you angry because Nan Chu didn't tell you he was coming back?!"

Upon hearing Du Liangchen's words, Fu Nanchu also turned his gaze to Mei Jing.

Seeing Mei Jing's stiff expression and wide-eyed stare, Fu Nanchu burst out laughing.

As she spoke, she looked at Fu Nanchu with a smug expression.

Neither of them could understand what was being said on the other end of the phone, but they could hear Mei Jing say, "Auntie, my cousin is right next to me!"

“He went back but didn’t go to my house. We didn’t even know he had come back on his own.”

"If I hadn't happened to come to the ice rink today, I might not have known that he had returned to China."

Fu Nanchu gritted her teeth as she watched Mei Jing complain, while Du Liangchen covered his mouth, barely suppressing his laughter. Mei Jing's cheeky tone was just too amusing; if it weren't for the inappropriate occasion, he would have burst out laughing.
