I mustered my spirits and went to the bathroom. I had just washed my face with cold water when I heard someone knocking on the door.

"Xiao Chen, your aunt is back!"

Upon hearing Grandma Du's words, Du Liangchen quickly looked in the mirror. Seeing that everyone in the mirror was fine except for his slightly red eyes, he breathed a sigh of relief and called out from the doorway, "Grandma, wait a minute, I'm changing my clothes."

Grandpa Du coughed lightly and gave her a look, signaling her to tone it down and not to hurt his adorable grandson.

In reality, the two were not actually angry or arguing; they were just putting on an act for Du Liangchen to attract his attention.

When Du Liangchen came out of the room, the elderly couple could tell that he was in a very bad mood and must have been hiding inside crying, otherwise his eyes wouldn't have been so red.

After all, the two elders had watched Du Liangchen grow up since he was a child, and they could tell at a glance whether he was woken up or secretly crying.

On the way, Du Langyue didn't talk to Du Liangchen about the internet, but said, "Your two older brothers are both doing internships and won't be able to come back this holiday. You'll be all alone, how boring! Why don't you go stay with your aunt for a few days?"

After realizing it was a misunderstanding, their expressions softened considerably.

Mei Aohan told Mei Jing not to worry about this matter, as he would contact the police to clarify the situation.

Meanwhile, Du Liangchen and his family had arrived at the restaurant. Du Langyue, seeing Du Liangchen looking preoccupied, tried her best to cheer him up.

At the dinner table, everyone chatted and laughed, and Du Liangchen's mood improved slightly.

After dinner, Du Langyue found Du Liangchen and told him not to let the online incident affect him. She had already reported it to the police and filed a lawsuit.

Du Liangchen hesitated for a moment, but finally told her what had happened.

Although Du Langyue had already heard it once, there were always omissions in other people's retellings. Hearing the complete version of what happened, she was still furious and cursed the woman who was knocking on her door in the middle of the night.
