The mirror reflected a face of mixed race, with dark red eyes and long platinum blonde hair. A slender hand elegantly applied lipstick in front of the mirror, then, hearing a knock on the door, raised an eyebrow and put down the lipstick.

"What do you mean by knocking on your own door?"

Rei Furuya has been very busy with the police these past few days, even taking time off from going to Poirot Cafe. He finally finished dealing with Yasuharu Tsuchimon's matter and got home, only to realize he'd forgotten his keys in his rush a few days ago.

The door opened, and Furuya Rei froze, even taking a few steps back to check the house number to confirm that it was indeed his home.

"You didn't bring your keys?"

"I forgot in my haste to leave. What... what are you up to now?" Furuya Rei's face darkened even more as she looked at Jiang Jin, who was dressed in a business suit. Jiang Jin, on the other hand, turned around and went into the house with a natural expression. "After being idle at your house for so long, it's time to go out and do something to resolve my current situation."

Furuya Rei entered the house and closed the door behind him. He watched as Jiang Jin stood in front of several shoe boxes trying on shoes. Jiang Jin wasn't short to begin with, but the shoes made him appear even taller. Furuya Rei forced himself to look away from Jiang Jin's legs, which were encased in black stockings, and cleared his throat, asking, "Where are you going?"

Jiang Jin tossed his platinum blonde hair, picked up his bag, walked over to Furuya Rei, and replied, "Today is Amamiya-sensei's first day of class."

With that, she smiled and reached out to lift Furuya Rei's chin, then lowered her voice to a low female tone: "Furuya-kun, say goodbye to the teacher."

Furuya Rei slapped Jiang Jin's hand away in annoyance, turned around and sat on the sofa. Haro jumped onto his lap looking like he wanted to be petted.

"Get out of here, don't wander around in front of me dressed like that."

Today, a new student joined Class B of the second year at Teitan High School. Before morning class, the homeroom teacher introduced the student to the other students in Class B.

The new classmate's name was Hondo Eisuke. He wore round-framed glasses and looked rather dazed. Sonoko glanced at Hondo Eisuke sitting next to her; she felt that this boy looked vaguely familiar, as if she had seen him somewhere before.

"Hey, we're getting a new English teacher for our class today? After Ms. Judy left, the English teacher from Class A has been filling in."

"I've really had enough of Mr. Tanaka from Class A."

Hearing the other students' discussion, Sonoko turned around and chimed in, "A new English teacher? I've never heard of her."

"I happen to have an English class today, so I should be able to see him soon."

After the bell rang for the third period English class, the students in Class B returned to their seats. The sound of high heels echoed in the hallway, and soon the footsteps stopped at the door of Class 2B.

She had long, platinum blonde hair, wore a black suit with silver trim, her long, straight legs encased in black stockings, and wore matching high heels.

Her face showed some foreign ancestry, and her dark red eyes swept over the students in the class with a mature and charming yet somewhat intimidating aura.

"Hello everyone, from today onwards I will be your English teacher. My name is Amamiya Namiko." Jiang Jin walked to the center of the podium, and her low, husky voice rang out, "Please take good care of me from now on."

Various sounds immediately filled the classroom; such a beautiful teacher was naturally welcomed by the students.

Jiang Jin's gaze swept over everyone in the class, then lingered on Hondo Eiyu for a moment before moving away before Jiang Jin could even notice.

After school, Sonoko went to find Ran and told her about the new classmates and teachers in her class that day.

"Amamiya Namiko?" Ran was slightly surprised to hear Sonoko mention the new teacher's name. Conan, who happened to be there today, also looked up. "Isn't that Mr. Amuro's girlfriend? So, she's a teacher?"

Sonoko blinked, then said with a regretful look, "You mean Mr. Amuro from the Poirot Cat Cafe downstairs? He actually has a girlfriend!"

Ran nodded and told Sonoko about the first time she met Amamiya Namiko.

"Next, we will replay the morning news..."

Sonoko glanced at the TV and saw Rena Mizunashi on it. She suddenly clapped her hands, startling Ran and Conan.

"I remember now! That Hondo Eisuke looks a lot like this host!" Sonoko's words made Conan's expression change, after all, he was already certain that Mizunashi Rena was a member of the organization.

"You mean that the new student looks a lot like Rena Mizunashi?" Conan looked like he was facing a major crisis. Sonoko nodded strangely at Conan's nervous expression. "Yeah, people might even believe they're siblings."

Conan kept quiet about it, thinking he needed to find an opportunity to see Hondo Eisuke. But before Conan could even make an opportunity, Hondo Eisuke showed up on his own.

It happened to be Friday after school when Hondo Eisuke called out to Sonoko, "Suzuki-kun, I heard you know that famous detective, Kogoro Mouri?"

"Huh? Yeah, what's wrong?" Sonoko stopped and answered.

Hondo Eisuke scratched his head sheepishly: "Um, may I go with you to visit Mr. Mori? I'm very curious about him, after all... he's a very famous detective."

Sonoko looked Hondo Eisuke up and down a few times, then nodded: "Okay. But I advise you not to put too much of a filter on Uncle Mori, or you'll be disappointed when you see him in person."

Hondo Eisuke smiled shyly.

When they arrived at the office building, Conan and Ran had just returned.

"Shino!" Sonoko saw Ran, but because she was worried about Hondo Eisuke, she had to change her address. "Oh, right, let me introduce you. This is Hondo Eisuke, the new classmate I told you about before. This is Mouri Shino, and this is Edogawa Conan."

Upon hearing this, Conan immediately looked at Hondo Eisuke and realized that the boy did indeed look a lot like Mizunashi Rena.

"Hello...you two." Hondo Eisuke nodded to Conan and Ran. "I'm here to visit Mr. Mori. Sorry to bother you."

As the four people were talking, the door to Poirot Cat Cafe was pushed open from the inside.

"Mr. Amamiya?" Sonoko looked at Jiang Jin in surprise, not expecting to run into him here. Jiang Jin also looked surprised. "Suzuki-kun, Hondou-kun. Oh, and two kids I met once before."

Conan didn't suspect Amamiya Namiko much, because although he felt Amuro Tooru wasn't just an ordinary shop assistant, he also suspected Amuro Tooru had some connection with Inspector Matsuda of the Metropolitan Police Department. Conan believed Amuro Tooru was likely a police informant or something similar.

"Ms. Amamiya... are you here to see Mr. Amuro?" Sonoko, recalling Conan and Ran's conversation, immediately became gossipy. Jiang Jin's eyes crinkled into a smile, "I'm not here to see Zero today, I'm here to see the shop owner here, Ms. Takanashi. She's a friend of mine."

Jiang Jin then asked, "What's going on here?"

Sonoko then told Jiang Jin about Hondo Eisuke's plan to visit Kogoro Mouri. Jiang Jin then said, "Speaking of which, Zero also told me that he became Kogoro's student, but I've never met him. I wonder if it would be possible for us to go and visit Kogoro together?"

The reason sounded perfectly reasonable, so the group went upstairs. When Ran opened the door, Kogoro Mouri was still sitting on the sofa watching a horse race.

"Uncle, we're back. We have guests today!" Ran called out as she entered, as if to remind Kogoro Mouri.

Upon hearing this, Kogoro Mouri turned his head and glanced at the door. When he saw Jiang Jin, his expression immediately changed. He rushed into the room with lightning speed and came out dressed in a suit and tie, and even had a faint scent of perfume on him.

Ran, Conan, and Sonoko's lips twitched at the sight.

"Ahem, I never expected to have such a beautiful lady as my guest. How rude of me. I am Kogoro Mouri." Kogoro Mouri said with a serious expression, extending one hand.

"Mr. Mori, you're too kind. I've heard from Zero for so long that he knows a great detective, and today I finally have the chance to meet him. Please don't take offense at my sudden visit." Jiang Jin presented herself as a beautiful and eloquent woman. She glanced at the other man's hand and placed the cake she had just bought into Mori Kogoro's hands.

He won't make the same mistake twice.

"Uncle!" Ran couldn't help but interrupt her father's inability to walk past beautiful women. Sonoko quickly pulled Hondou Eisuke out from behind her. "Uncle, my classmate admires you a lot too!"

Hondo Eisuke was suddenly pulled out and immediately became very nervous, bowing deeply: "Mr. Mori, hello! I am Hondo Eisuke!"

As he bowed, his forehead collided directly with Conan's head, leaving both of them stunned.

Kogoro Mouri, unaccustomed to this situation, twitched his lips and responded politely. Then, after glancing at Eisuke Hondo a few times, he couldn't help but say, "This kid looks kind of familiar."

“I think so too. She looks a bit like that news anchor from the morning TV show.” Jiang Jin looked at Hondo Eisuke. “I think her name is Mizunashi Rena?”
