"I only studied a little bit in Hawaii."

For some reason, Conan felt that the sentence sounded very familiar. Having not managed to get any information out of him, Conan just laughed it off.

Just as they were picking up souvenirs at the game booth, someone behind them greeted them.

Turning around, they discovered it was Kazuha. And she was wearing the same ID watch as them.

"Kazuha-neechan, you're here too?" Conan noticed the watch on Kazuha's wrist and naturally thought of Hattori Heiji, so he went up to her and asked, "Um... didn't Heiji-nii come?"

Kazuha looked quite displeased after hearing Conan's words. She was still holding her phone, clearly having just been on a call.

"Don't even mention Heiji. Seriously, he said he'd be back soon and told me to go have some fun while I waited for him, but he still hasn't come back."

It seems Hattori received the same request. Conan thought to himself.

“In that case, Kazuha, why don’t you come and play with us? It’s more fun with more people!” Sonoko said, pulling Kazuha over to introduce Jiang Jin to her, “This is my cousin’s junior, Hideko… This is Toyama Kazuha.”

Jiang Jin smiled slightly and extended his hand to He Ye. Conan quickly looked over and noticed that there did indeed appear to be faint calluses on the other person's fingertips.

After the group got to know each other better, Sonoko said, "By the way, the number of guests at the Red Castle Hotel will exceed 100,000 today, so they're having a celebration party tonight. They're preparing for dinner right now, and there'll be all-you-can-eat cake!"

“I think we should go together. These kids have ID watches anyway, so it’s fine to let them play by themselves.”

Sonoko was naturally referring to Kazuha, Emi, and the shrunken Ran. In her opinion, with Kudo and Professor Agasa watching over the children, there wouldn't be any problems.

Little did she know, Conan's heart skipped a beat upon hearing this. Going to the Red Castle Hotel meant leaving Fantasyland, and Ran was wearing an ID watch containing a bomb. His mind was racing, trying to come up with an excuse to stop them.

Jiang Jin, on the other hand, wasn't worried at all about taking Conan's life in the amusement park. He knew Conan would definitely try to stop them from leaving, and he just needed to agree to it. Naturally, this wouldn't arouse much suspicion.

So he was the first to respond to Sonoko's suggestion, putting pressure on Conan: "Cake? That sounds good. I wonder if there's any lemonade?"

"I love cake so much." Kazuha temporarily put aside her unhappiness about Hattori Heiji leaving her alone because she met a familiar companion.

When the three boys in the boy group heard that Sonoko and the others were going to eat cake, they started discussing it. Genta pointed to the roller coaster in the distance and said, "Why don't we go ride that giant snake? It looks really exciting."

Conan was completely baffled. The selling point of the Fantasy Park roller coaster was that it would plunge into the sea at one point, and that area was right outside the amusement park.

How can we stop them from leaving the amusement park?!

Meanwhile, near Takashimacho in Yokohama city outside the amusement park, Kogoro Mouri discovered that there was no 3-chome on the map.

"Strange? Do I have to remember everything from the beginning again?" Kogoro Mouri scratched his head. He looked out the car window and suddenly saw a shop under renovation. He slapped his forehead, "Right, this area seems to have been renamed recently due to redevelopment."

Kogoro Mouri found a police officer and asked him if there were any places in the area whose names had been changed due to redevelopment.

“Because this area has been incorporated into the Minato Future district, it used to be called Sanchome.” The patrol officer looked at the map that Kogoro Mouri handed him and pointed to a location on the map. “The original Sanchome should be here.”

Based on the location given to him by the patrolman, Kogoro Mori found the original location of 3-chome, which was an abandoned hotel.

"Is this place really related to the case?" Kogoro Mouri got out of the car, opened the hotel door, and used his flashlight to illuminate the dark hotel lobby.

He looked around; apart from the broken chandelier on the floor, the hotel seemed unremarkable. Just then, a strange noise came from a corner of the hotel.

Kogoro Mouri was startled and immediately shone his flashlight in the direction, shouting, "Who's there!"

There was no response from the other end.

Kogoro Mouri cautiously walked towards the source of the sound. A door in the corner had been opened by someone. Shining his flashlight in the doorway, Kogoro Mouri was suddenly tackled to the ground by a shadow that leaped out of the door.

"Huh—what is that?"

"Hey husky, be more polite to your fellow travelers."

Kogoro Mouri then realized that the creature that had tackled him was a lithe husky. The one who spoke was a young woman who appeared to be only in her early twenties, emerging from a hidden door.

Then Kogoro saw the dog that had jumped on him give the young girl a very human-like look before casually jumping off him.

"Is that dog looking down on her?" Kogoro Mouri wondered.

"Who are you?" Kogoro Mouri stood up and dusted off his clothes.

“Akiyama Yuu. I am also a detective.”

Kogoro Mouri noticed that the other person was wearing the same ID watch on their outstretched wrist as he was, and he recognized the name Akiyama Hayao from the forums. She was a female detective from Yokohama who was said to be very famous in Yokohama.

"You also received a commission from that client at the Red Castle Hotel?"

Akiyama Yui nodded: "Yes, I wouldn't have come if it weren't for the fact that he offered so much. I never expected to be tricked by that guy, and now I can't run away even if I want to." As she spoke, Akiyama Yui looked at Kogoro Mouri, "Since we are both victims, how about we cooperate together, Mr. Mouri?"

"Hmm... Of course, Ms. Akiyama." Kogoro Mouri thought for a moment and said, "I just received the request today, and I found this place as soon as I got the riddle. What about you?"

“I arrived yesterday.” Akiyama Yui’s lies came out of nowhere. “I’ve been investigating around here for a while. Since we’re going to cooperate, I’ll share my findings with Mr. Mori.”

As she spoke, Akiyama Yuying turned around and took out a black duffel bag from the hidden door where she had just appeared.

“When I arrived here yesterday, I happened to meet a homeless man. He told me that some strange things happened in this hotel on April 4th.”

"What's so strange?" Kogoro Mouri pressed.

“A large white bird flew in that day.”

Kogoro Mouri was taken aback: "What do you mean by the big white bird?"

Akiyama Yui didn't answer, but continued, "He also told me that early that morning, there was a brand new car parked in the courtyard. But when he came back in the evening, it had become a dilapidated used car. The car's parts were also stolen in the middle of the night, leaving only a pile of skeletons."

“The landlord also locked the basement that day,” Akiyama Yuying said, pointing to the luggage bag on the ground. “This is what I found when I pried open the basement door.”
