Although Xiong Shan Jun was considered Guan Bo's prisoner, the three demons' goal was to devour Ling Xiu. Therefore, Guan Bo left the decision to the little girl, asking her, "What do you want to do with this bear demon? Kill it or release it?"

"My surname is Gongsun, and my given name is Jing. You are now the guardian beast of my Gongsun sect," Gongsun Jing said to Xiongshan Jun.

"Wait! Didn't we agree not to call it the Gongsun faction?" Guan Bo quickly said.

Gongsun Jing rolled her eyes at Guan Bo and said, "If you're willing to be my mount, you can call me whatever you want, even Panda Pie."

Guan Bocai would never agree to this condition, but he wouldn't give up either; he was determined to persuade Gongsun Jing to change her name. Because this Gongsun faction was truly incredibly backward, even worse than the Fire Worship Cult.

And so the matter was settled. Xiong Shanjun became Gongsun Jing's mount, and the others no longer intended to stay at Black Wind Mountain.

The clever ghost and the nimble insect bowed deeply and said, "Thank you for your guidance, Second King."

Guan Bo pretended to crack his knuckles, then said to the two demons, "You have a good opportunity on this trip. But you will also face a calamity. Remember not to trade something small for something big, or two for one, or you will surely suffer a great disaster."

The meticulous ghost and the clever insect did not know the deeper meaning behind Guan Bo's words, but thinking that the Second King would certainly not harm them, they kept this prophecy in mind.

Guan Bo found it amusing, wondering how the Great Sage would resolve the situation after encountering the Purple Gold Gourd and the Jade Bottle.

After finishing his business on the mountain, Guan Bo closed his cave and headed west.

As the wind carried them into the sky, Guan Bo suddenly wondered, "I wonder how far the Great Sage has progressed in his journey to the West to retrieve the scriptures from Tang Sanzang?"
