We bear people have power

Chapter 40, Part 3: The Crown Prince Descends to Earth

In truth, General Yin didn't care whether he stopped or not; he only wanted to figure out how to lure those two sword immortals into making a move, then pretend to be injured and escape, finding a tiger to die in his place along the way to fool them. At most, he'd lose his clothes and magic weapon; as long as he was alive, he could fight again.

Guan Bo was no match for the tiger demon who was good at manipulating the wind. He had just brought General Yin into the range of his supernatural powers when he found that the hostage had already been taken into the hands of this monster.

“If you have the guts, drop the hostages and I’ll fight you one-on-one,” Guan Bo said to General Yin, holding an embroidered needle.

"If you've got the guts, take off that skin and stop using your innate supernatural power!" General Yin wasn't stupid. Guan Bo's strength was average, but his thick skin and this unreasonable innate supernatural power alone made him invincible.

However, to General Yin's astonishment, Guan Bo transformed into human form without hesitation and said, "Alright, I'll take it off!"

Then we saw Guan Bo tear off his robe and throw it into the air.

Just as General Yin was drawn to the robe and looked up, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his shoulder and his entire arm went completely limp.

In that instant, Guan Bo dislocated his arm. He did this because he feared the intense pain would cause General Yin to injure the hostages, so he simply dislocated his arm to ensure safety.

General Yin never expected Guan Bo to be so ruthless to himself; this joint wasn't something that could be easily dislocated. The sudden, excruciating pain caused General Yin to loosen his grip on the hostage. And before he could use his other hand to pull the hostage back, everything went black.

The robe Guan Bo threw out wasn't just to attract attention; this treasure also had a powerful function of trapping enemies.

General Yin felt his whole body stiffen. Even before the robe had fully bound him, he already felt unable to move. He knew that this was the greatest crisis he had ever faced in his life. If he were trapped by this robe, even for a moment, the three flying swords would strike simultaneously, and he would surely die a gruesome death, just like Master Te.

In General Yin's plan, he intended to fake his death, not actually die.

However, General Yin was smarter and more cunning than the other two demons. The Plague Yellow Banner surged with a strong, eerie wind and began to billow. He needed to detonate this natal magic weapon to blast the robe apart and have a chance to escape.

This General Yin was indeed a decisive monster, capable of instantly ruthlessly detonating his natal magic weapon, which had been refined for over a hundred years—truly a man of great deeds. However, the moment he made the slightest movement, he saw the handsome young man he had just captured as a hostage, his eyes narrowed as he stared at him.

"What's going on? Didn't this guy fall down?" General Yin felt a sudden panic, as if he were being watched by a prehistoric beast.

"If I'm not mistaken, you're going to self-destruct your magic weapon and kill me too?" The young man sat cross-legged in the void.

General Yin had no time to answer; the robe had already fallen, obscuring the sky, and if this continued, it would be too late to escape.

Therefore, he shouted, "You have a path to heaven but you won't take it. In that case, die with me!"

All the demonic power was poured into the Plague Yellow Banner, ready to unleash the full power of this magical treasure.

However, no matter how fast he was, he couldn't match the boy's speed.

A sharp pain shot through his throat, but this time it wasn't just pain without injury; his trachea and artery were ripped apart. Blood splattered, and General Yin's vision began to blur. The last thing he saw was that vibrant red tassel and the gleaming tip of the spear.

“Fire… Fire-tipped spear…” General Yin, being well-informed, immediately recognized the origin of the red-tasseled spear, but it was too late.

"The law of the jungle is the way of nature, so don't blame me. Blame your own weakness." The handsome young man repeated General Yin's words with a smile.

With General Yin dead and his aura dissipated, the robe lost its target and flew back to Guan Bo's body.

He hurriedly put on his robe. Guan Bo didn't have any perverted fetish for exposing himself in front of little girls. He had only done it to save people, although he now knew that the handsome young man didn't need him to save him at all.

Seeing the young man turn to look at him, Guan Bo was about to explain that he wasn't a pervert when he heard the handsome young man say, "You'd break your own arm to save me?"

Guan Bo said somewhat awkwardly, "It's not broken, just dislocated. I didn't expect you wouldn't need me to do it..."

Before he could finish speaking, Guan Bo was interrupted by the handsome young man, who said arrogantly, "I, Nezha, owe you a debt of gratitude for this arm. I will repay you sooner or later."

"No need to be so polite, it's nothing... Wait, what's your name?" Guan Bo seemed to have heard some earth-shattering news.

The handsome young man smiled, seemingly pleased with Guan Bo's shock.

A burst of flames erupted from his body, his green robe transformed into a lotus-embroidered garment, he wore the Hun Tian Ling (a magical ribbon), and rode on the Wind and Fire Wheels.

Majestic and imposing, he resembles the legendary God of the Three Altars and Seas, Li Nezha.

Guan Bo's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets; the world was changing too fast, it was simply unbearable.

This is a great deity, renowned for both his fame and strength. He was able to fight the Great Sage for hundreds of rounds, forcing the Great Sage to use his clone technique to gain a slight advantage. Such a feat is extremely rare, and can be counted on one hand in the Heavenly Court.

Guan Bo wasn't surprised for long, after all, he was someone who could chat and laugh with the Great Sage. He asked Nezha, "Third Prince, what's the story behind you dressing up as a woman to descend to the mortal realm?"

With a loud bang, flames burst forth from Nezha's Wind and Fire Wheels, which stretched for dozens of feet. Guan Bo then discovered that the tip of the Fire-Tipped Spear was already pressed against his throat.

"Who did you just say was dressed as a woman?!" Nezha said, each word distinct and menacing.

Guan Bo swallowed hard and awkwardly changed the subject, saying, "Haha, the weather is really nice today."

The Fire-Tipped Spear was swiftly withdrawn, and Nezha transformed back into the handsome young man in the blue robe, coldly saying, "You blind, ignorant demon, which eye of yours saw that I resemble a woman?"

Honestly, aside from her clothes, she's a beautiful girl by every way! This thought roared and echoed in Guan Bo's mind several times. However, Guan Bo understood one thing: don't try to reason with a brat; you should use your fists.

However, the kid in front of him was too tough, so Guan Bo had no choice but to back down.

"No, no, not at all. I was wondering before, how could a girl be so handsome? It was all because of that little monk Yideng, who said a girl was looking for me, that I misunderstood. He's clearly a handsome young man, how could I mistake him?"

Although he knew that Guan Bo's words were not entirely true, Nezha only snorted coldly and did not continue to attack.

"I say, Third Prince, what brings you down to Black Wind Mountain? I don't have any dragons here for you to play with."

"Didn't I tell you before? I'm here to find my sister," Nezha said, glancing sideways at Guan Bo.

"Sister? I don't have any rat spirits here."

Guan Bo thought to himself, Li Jing had three sons: Jinzha, Muzha, and Nezha. In Journey to the West, the only one who could be considered Nezha's sister was a rat spirit with no blood relation, but this monster was separated from Black Wind Mountain by thousands of miles.

"What rat spirit? Your claim of innate supernatural powers is just nonsense. I'm looking for her." Nezha pointed in the direction where Lingxiu was.
