Chapter 360 The Tragic Fate of a Group of Silver Eggs

The two gleaming silver eggs, slightly shorter than humans, had such a high reflectivity that they could easily be used as mirrors if flattened. Guan Bo couldn't quite figure out if their egg-like bodies contained several organs that he wasn't sure if they were eyes.

“Hello, I’m from the Frequent Rainy season,” one of the silver-clad figures stepped forward and said to Guan Bo.

Guan Bo then discovered that when this intelligent life form spoke, the surface of its color would constantly flicker, changing like neon lights.

Perhaps because of the direct understanding of the meaning, Guan Bo really didn't know how to address this guy whose name was "the guy who always rains".

"My name is Guan Bo, can I call you Shi Yu?" Guan Bo tried to send a slightly more elegant name.

The silver egg flashed a few times, then said, “This name is better than mine. Based on this structure, you could be called Tokiomi, what do you think?” The man who often rained said to his companion.

“That’s right, I’ve decided to use this new name from now on,” said Gindan, who had just changed his name to Tokiomi.

Guan Bo felt a pang of heartache, thinking to himself, "Why did you change the name of the legendary scapegoat?"

However, Guan Bo couldn't explain this common knowledge to them, so he could only offer a few insincere compliments.

"So, Mr. Suicide Attack at the Crucial Moment..." Guan Bo: "..."

What kind of weird name is this? Is this how these alien silver eggs interpret "going all out at the crucial moment"?

Guan Bo was speechless, but he tried to correct them several times. They still insisted that their understanding was correct, so Guan Bo could only let them be.

Shichen and Shigure drove the excavator and took Guan Bo to their underground city.

Calling it an underground city is only half the story.

The city was more like a disc slanted into the ground, half underground and the other half exposed to sunlight. Guan Bo's initial attempt to drill down was completely misguided. He should have continued walking through the forest until he emerged from the desert to find the city's edge.

Then, through the introduction of Shigure and Shiomi, Guan Bo finally met the leader of this alien civilization.

After exchanging a few words with Guan Bo, the leader, who claimed to "have children frequently," immediately changed his name to the more elegant "Shizhi."

Although the name wasn't much better, Guan Bo was too lazy to waste time complaining about it.

"So, sir, you said you're a life form from another planet, what proof do you have?" Shi Zhi asked Guan Bo.

"That doesn't need proof, does it? If a life form lived here could grow up to look like me?" Guan Bo retorted.

After exchanging ideas for a while, the group of silver-eyed boys all agreed with Guan Bo's words.

This is a small planet situated within the gravitational influence of three stars, making it a place prone to disasters. Gravitational variations cause stress, prolonged exposure to sunlight results in high temperatures, and sometimes, its location far from the stars leads to extremely low temperatures.

Life forms that can survive in such environments have mostly evolved strong resilience. Guan Bo certainly doesn't possess the ability to feign death due to dehydration.

According to these silver eggs, they are a civilization that inherits memories through brain computers. Although their technology is far more advanced than Guan Bo's previous life's world, this civilization has actually faced extinction more than a hundred times.

After all, these silver eggs are not yet able to leave the planet and achieve interstellar migration. And because of the constantly changing gravity of the three stars, the planet's destruction is always uncertain.

If Guan Bo hadn't appeared, these silver eggs didn't know how much longer their race could survive.

"Sir, how did you get here? What technology did you use to achieve interstellar travel? And where is your spacecraft?"

Shi Zhi posed a series of questions to Guan Bo.

"It's hard for me to explain this to you. I can only say that I have a very special ability to travel through the void of space without any tools," Guan Bo said, pointing to the five halos around his body.

"We can indeed detect a powerful energy reaction on you, but this energy doesn't seem to be any kind we've ever seen before. So, sir, could you teach us this technology for space travel?" Shizhi asked.

The question was very direct, and the desire in it was not concealed in the slightest.

"It's not that I don't want to teach you this ability, but this technique is tailor-made for my race, and you probably can't learn it." Guan Bo helplessly spread his hands. Even the "Longevity Manual" was deduced based on the human physique, and it really wasn't suitable for these silver eggs.

"I see. Then could you please launch a suicide attack at a critical moment to take some of our people away from this planet? That way, our race might be able to continue to exist elsewhere," Shizhi asked again.

"Well, I don't think leaving your hometown is a good choice, and my hometown isn't suitable for you all to live in." Guan Bo wasn't trying to shirk responsibility.

The air composition is different in the two places; these silver eggs might all suffocate and die if they go there.

Hearing Guan Bo's repeated rejections, the group of silver-haired youths seemed quite disappointed. For them, whose civilization had been destroyed hundreds of times, every minute was a wait for the end of the world. Therefore, even the slightest hope would excite them greatly, but the resulting disappointment would also be quite severe.

Seeing this, Guan Bo quickly said, "Actually, instead of leaving here, why not renovate this place? As long as those disasters don't occur, your civilization can continue to exist."

Shizhi explained, "The gravitational changes of the three major stars are unpredictable, and the patterns of solar wind eruptions are completely uncontrollable, so it's impossible to predict when disaster will strike. Each time it happens, we can only survive by luck. Unless, of course, we can leave this planet."

Guan Bo, however, thought differently and said to the group of silver eggs, "Isn't it just because it's too close to the three suns? I'll find a way to help your entire planet move further away."

All the Silver Eggs were astonished by Guan Bo's words, as if they were hearing something out of the blue. Change the planet's orbit? Even if you buried the entire planet with the most powerful explosives and detonated them all at once, it wouldn't change the planet's orbit in the slightest.

This is something that Silver Egg's technological capabilities could not achieve; in fact, they wouldn't even dare to dream of it.

But for Guan Bo, it's not entirely impossible.
