We bear people have power

Chapter 3 The Incredibly Handsome White Dragon

"Report! Your Majesty, that monkey is at the cave entrance again, shouting and cursing!" A little demon with a pointed mouth and monkey-like cheeks rushed in hurriedly.

Upon hearing this, the black bear spirit threw down the chicken leg he had just half-eaten, picked up his black-tasseled spear, and rushed out of the cave.

Guan Bo did the opposite; he even hugged a few more bamboo shoots to his chest before running out.

As soon as they emerged from the cave, they saw a black wind and a ball of golden light entangled in mid-air, crackling and clashing noisily.

Guan Bo lay sprawled out in a panda-like position, chewing on bamboo shoots while watching the two fight.

Monkey King's golden cudgel was truly powerful; its golden light shone brilliantly when swung, dazzling Guan Bo's vision from afar. This cudgel stirred up the wind and clouds, shattered rocks, and even the howling wind alone could shake one's very core, leaving one breathless and feeling suffocated.

The Black Bear Demon, however, was not at a disadvantage. His black-tasseled spear pierced the head and face, his spear technique so exquisite that it suppressed the Ruyi Jingu Bang's (the Monkey King's) magical transformations. The Black Bear Demon possessed extremely strong demonic power; the demonic wind generated by the spear tip could blow sand and stones. Even the indestructible Monkey King would grimace in pain for half a day after being hit by a spear.

These two were evenly matched, and their fight caused the heavens and earth to change color, almost shearing off a layer of the Black Wind Mountain. "No wonder Xiong Da has such a big mouth. This is the third time, and he can still fight Monkey King to a standstill. He's really amazing." Guan Bo cheered for the Black Bear Spirit while chewing on a bamboo shoot.

Although he hasn't taken human form yet, Guan Bo is still the second-in-command of Black Wind Mountain, so this bit of the aftermath of the battle won't hurt him.

He had tried everything he could to persuade the Black Bear Spirit, but the spirit remained stubbornly unwilling to return the cassock. So, he could only remain a bystander, a mere spectator enjoying the bamboo shoots.

After watching for a while, a white cloud flew in from the horizon and drifted over to Guan Bo's side.

Guan Bo didn't mind and picked out a big one from the pile of bamboo shoots and threw it into the clouds.

As the clouds dispersed, a handsome young man in white robes emerged, looking like a celestial being.

"The fight has just started?" The white-clad youth crunched on a bamboo shoot, completely ruining the beautiful and ethereal scene that had just unfolded.

"Hmm, it'll probably take half a day to fight. Shall we go inside and sit for a bit?" Guan Bo stretched, wondering if pandas were just naturally lazy, because even just watching the show made him feel a little tired.

The boy didn't refuse, but secretly asked Guan Bo, "Um... do you have any wine or meat?"

Guan Bo rolled his eyes and said, "Third Prince, you're supposed to be on your way to retrieve the Buddhist scriptures from the West. Aren't you afraid of being beaten to death by your senior brother for breaking the rules?"

"No, no, Buddhism also has the concept of 'three kinds of pure meat'," the boy said, his eyes shining.

"How do you calculate the cost of that wine? There's no such thing as 'three-clean wine' here," Guan Bo said disdainfully.

"No, no, the wine in this mortal world is no different from water. I was just thirsty for a moment. It's alright, it's alright."

"One last question? Is your surname really Ao, and not Bao?" Guan Bo asked very seriously.

"All dragons of the four seas share the surname Ao!" Ao Lie declared righteously.

He still cares a lot about this.

This incredibly handsome young man, who could be considered an idol, is none other than Tang Sanzang's white dragon horse, and also Ao Lie, the third prince of the West Sea Dragon King. Honestly, Guan Bo thinks Tang Sanzang has some kind of hidden hobby, riding this young heartthrob around all day.

These past few days, Monkey King has been arguing with the Black Bear Spirit, while Guan Bo has been chatting quite well with the White Dragon. This is probably because they are both vegetarians at this time, and both have a heart that should originally be eating meat.

Although Xiao Bailong comes from a prestigious family, and it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that he is a first-class nobleman in the world, he is not arrogant at all, and his slightly chuunibyou personality is actually quite to Guan Bo's liking.

It was estimated that the two in the sky would fight for another half a day, so Guan Bo led the little white dragon into Black Wind Mountain.

Although the White Dragon had been here several times, this was his first time entering the cave. He saw that in the courtyard, pine and bamboo trees were intertwined in verdant green, peach and plum trees were vying for beauty, clusters of flowers were in bloom, and clusters of orchids were fragrant. It was indeed a secluded paradise. He also saw a couplet on the second gate, which read: "Quietly hidden in the deep mountains, free from worldly worries; living in secluded fairy caves, enjoying the true joy of nature."

"I never expected that Black Wind Mountain would be such a wonderful place, but the cave master..." Little White Dragon sighed, leaving the last two sentences unsaid out of politeness.

Guan Bo wasn't stupid; he naturally understood what Xiao Bailong meant.

The scenery of Black Wind Mountain was indeed beautiful, and the cave itself was quite unique, which didn't quite match the rugged appearance of the Black Bear Spirit. Guan Bo mentally criticized the Black Bear Spirit's clumsy appearance, but he didn't expect that his own round, chubby figure was even more out of place in this tranquil setting.

But despite the complaints, the Black Bear Spirit and Guan Bo are brothers, and outsiders cannot be allowed to look down on them so easily.

Therefore, Guan Bo casually pushed the leftover roasted chicken from the Black Bear Spirit to the White Dragon and said, "Here, don't be shy."

Looking at the half-eaten chicken leg on the plate, Xiao Bailong said helplessly to Guan Bo, "Is this how you treat a visiting friend?"

"To be honest, it's already very impolite to ask a panda to treat you to meat," Guan Bo said shamelessly.

Little White Dragon made a disdainful gesture to Guan Bo, something he'd learned from him, before grabbing a chicken leg and starting to eat. After eating vegetarian food for so many days, he couldn't wait to have some meat.

However, being the third prince of the Dragon Palace, the White Dragon's demeanor was impeccable. He used his fingers to tear off the untouched parts bit by bit, put them in his mouth, and chewed them slowly. Anyone who didn't know better would think he was eating the incredibly precious flesh of Tang Sanzang.

Seeing Xiaobailong like this, Guan Bo felt embarrassed, as it was really inappropriate to let his friend eat leftovers.

"Men, bring me a whole roasted lamb and two jars of Daughter's Red wine." Guan Bo gave the order, and the little demons of Black Wind Mountain began to prepare.

Upon hearing this, Xiao Bailong immediately threw away the half chicken leg and sat up straight, waiting for the food to be served, showing no politeness to Guan Bo at all.

Amidst the clinking of glasses, Guan Bo asked the White Dragon curiously, "I wonder if your Monkey King has too much energy? Xiong Da needs to fight for a while and then rest, eat something, and sleep. Monkey King is out there shouting and cursing day and night. Isn't he tired?"

This was Guan Bo's conclusion after observing for several days: the Black Bear Spirit couldn't defeat the Monkey King because of his lack of stamina. The Monkey King could fight for ten days and ten nights and still be full of energy, but the Black Bear Spirit needed to eat, drink, relieve himself, sleep, and rest.

This is the difference between having "refined" and not having "refined".

"If you were trapped down the mountain for five hundred years, you'd probably be more lively than him. Oh, wait, my senior brother is a monkey. For you, lying still is the norm," the White Dragon explained, taking a jab at Guan Bo in the process.

"Believe it or not, I'll sue you for racism! What's wrong with pandas? What's wrong with enjoying life? It's better than you being ridden by an old man."

"Are you trying to start a fight?!" Little White Dragon threw down the lamb leg and said to Guan Bo with a fierce expression.

Inside the cave, the two bantered and teased each other, while outside, a spectacular display of humor unfolded.

I thought it would take a few more days, but unexpectedly, thousands of auspicious clouds fell from the clouds, pierced through the rocks and fell into the cave.

Guan Bo was so frightened that his eyes widened, but he had no idea who this powerful figure was.

The White Dragon was even more overwhelmed. He spat out a mouthful of true fire, burning the wine and meat to ashes, and then said nervously, "Oh no, the Bodhisattva has arrived."

The main character has finally arrived.
